Yea, moves like the Harden step back and floater, or the Curry LeBron/Same deep three. Lol. Mention one of Jordan's moves that's been replicated in today's game.
But we were talking of his defense, how did his offence get into this discussion?
Jordan's defence was praised mostly because of his ability to rob a player off the ball one on one. In today's game, a lot of those steals would have been called a foul because of the way he had to make physical contact with the player to rob him off the ball.

donlittle25:Lol, man had to bring LeBron into this.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:55am On Jul 14, 2019
A40:It's rather counter intuitive to state this and then go aged to ask why Stephen and IT are/were so good.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:56am On Jul 14, 2019
I am not calm, i am certainly not nice. Your clippers? LOL! Bandwagon. Mark me, there's only one franchise in LA and these are the only clippers that matter.

Sometimes i lose track of all the people i'm beefing with on this thread. There's so many of them and i mix up their handles. By God, i may not remember why but i still loathe you all.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:59am On Jul 14, 2019
Khanben:Therefore, the best thing to do is to divide the game into different eras. Jordan is the GOAT of his era and LeBron is the GOAT of his era.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:06am On Jul 14, 2019
Has nothing to do with the playoffs.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:08am On Jul 14, 2019
The celtics and the pacers will definitely do better than the nets and the heat.
The lakers finishing as the one seed is highly unlikely. Trust me, with LeBron there is going to be drama. But come playoffs, we smoke them all.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:14am On Jul 14, 2019
RiskelWillow:Barring major injuries to these teams, i don't think anyone's list will be off by a mile. Most likely a drop or one step increase in the seeding.
Of course I forgot the Pacers.. I've not been following the Celtics.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:20am On Jul 14, 2019
steady986:Smh. Isn't that my point? So when casuals and millenials go on ad nauseum about how the players in this era are bigger, stronger, faster more athletic and other megedefegede. Why do we have some of the best players in this era completely make a mockery of that claim.
The most important muscle is the one between your ears. I'm tired of schooling Bronsexuals on this
Looks like you just ran to reply without reading
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:22am On Jul 14, 2019
When a Bronsexual tells you Jordan's teams were "Stacked"

I see it differently. She is coming back from motherhood and has made significant progress since she came back. It's a journey. I believe she will get back to elite level and winning titles soon.
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 11:34am On Jul 14, 2019
I see what you did there. ..
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:41am On Jul 14, 2019
steady986:Are you a comedian or something? One of the all-time greats Kobe Bryant literally photocopied MJ's game and dominated an era.
Even Dirk's one legged fadeaway was a modification of MJ's move, your MCM LeNomad, Wade, Melo. Who was Kawhi's style of play most compared to this post season? Even the mental midget DeRozan. You must be joking surely! His mid-air switches are obviously harder to implement by players today but to suggest players didn't and aren't still copying the GOAT is pure clownspeak
What nonsense physical contact are you talking about? Anticipation, ability to jump passing lanes can also help you get steals. Jordan was also an elite shot blocker at his position so I don't even know what you're talking about.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:58am On Jul 14, 2019
DeeMain:She has had a remarkable journey so far and I believe no woman has come back from motherhood to still play at such high level. However I think she is at that level already. Why she lost yesterday and her previous two grand slams is not down to motherhood.
There are clear chinks in her armor and I reiterate Serena has lost that fear factor especially in the big games. She had started losing Finals in quick succession before motherhood. It's possible that she still wins at least one or two more slams just because of how great she is

A40:No, you made those comments about Curry and IT because you feel they are too small, non athletic and soft to be doing well in today's NBA. Don't be cunning.

Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:15pm On Jul 14, 2019
A40:Man, you make me laugh. Before Jordan there was Jerry West and Larry Bird. I can categorically tell you that Jordan learnt one or two things from those people
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 12:33pm On Jul 14, 2019
In the West in no order I'll put
ROCKETS/GSW/BLAZERS will create a buzz especially in the playoffs.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:34pm On Jul 14, 2019
steady986:I don't have time for your useless stats that have no direct reflection on the actual series that was played.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:45pm On Jul 14, 2019
steady986:You're a bonafide clown, I'm sure you also make yourself laugh which is a surefire sign of crazeman tendencies
What are the moves Jordan copied from Bird and West, list them categorically for Jordan like I did then when you're done explain what it has to do with my argument
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:59pm On Jul 14, 2019
steady986:Opolo eye e no be open eye. Clearly you must be a shigidi with eyes but cannot see.
Where is the lie? By virtue of how much bigger, stronger and faster players today are, such players should not be a factor in today's era. I said what I said.
Stop inundating me with mumu questions and borderline repeating what I said like a parakeet
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:17pm On Jul 14, 2019
A40:You're just contradicting yourself. Issokay

I they wait
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:19pm On Jul 14, 2019
A40:That's your problem, you believe that being a great player is measured only by your ability to put the ball in the basket. Tell me how Harden did all that and still wasn't MVP.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:24pm On Jul 14, 2019
A40:And who told you that I agreed with you on today's players replicating Jordan's moves?
I don't have time for all this blatant ignorance from you. I'm very sure you didn't even watch Jordan play, so you're not even in the right position to argue with me about Jordan. And don't you mention YouTube for me.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 1:27pm On Jul 14, 2019
a40 constantly raves about Jordan defense lol.

Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:29pm On Jul 14, 2019
Lmao!!! This thread sha. We learn every the wrong things everyday.
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 1:34pm On Jul 14, 2019
You just said he does and in your last post made this same comment
you believe that being a great player is measured only by your ability to put the ball in the basket.Lol which one is it? I am certain that is not true because he also raves about pippen defense.
