Some of you are so ignorant that it's scary. For crying out loud the girl in the pics is overweight but definitely not even 30, If you reside or have resided in Europe, America, etc before, then you can tell by looking at that pics that the girl is probably young, maybe even younger than the guy.(Where is the hardcore proof that he is 23 and she 68?)

Now why did the guy marry her? Since life in Nigeria is probably better than life in Greece at the moment, there could be a number of reasons why the guy would want to marry this overweight girl. Has somebody ever consider the fact that he might actually love her? Yes she might not be attractive to you or I, but maybe she is to the guy. So before you go having heartache about the lives of others why not concentrate on yours

Onila, you're taking this way too seriously. If you read between the lines you'll see that am actually applauding Nigerian men for their smartness. They have mastered the art of strategically acquiring papers while blinding these women that they are genuinely in love with them. How do they do it if not for being smart? Okay, someone mentioned juju and I am beginning to think she could be right. Tomorrow, you'll read another such story here on Nairaland from a woman who could be reading this. Watch the space.

By the way, am not disputing the involvement of other nationalities in such smart arrangements; just pointing out (going by statistics) that Nigerian men outshine the rest in their smartness.

the woman looks young for her given age of 68, meaning she's kept herself well.

with the guy being 23, their mean age would be around 46 or so.

The fact of the matter is  that even if it is proven that the guy is 23 and the lady is 68, it still doesn't prove that he is marrying her because of EU residency paper, or whatever immigration papers for that matter. Take it or leave it, everyone on here is as ignorant about this couple as I am, so there is no way in hell anyone can prove that this couple are not genuine.

People who pander along the lines of stereotypes are the worst kind of people on this earth, they are not different from the racists who judge an individual simply by the colour of the skin of his race. Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a hell for such people to go to when they die, I wish there was.

Are these not private individuals?  Why is it okay to post their picture like this?

That woman is nowhere close to 50-years old, not to even talk of 60.  Jeez!  Did you see her hair?  Her hand?  Her skin?  Her arms?  No middle-aged oyinbo has arms like that!  Despite her fatness, you can see her arms are still toned and her skin is taut - where are the wrinkles and the veins, and the sign of shriveling (post-menopausal) bones?  

Anyway, leave the dude alone . . .unless you have evidence he committed a crime or forced her in any way.  No one knows what he told the woman, or what she told him.  If you do, then prove it.

haba, you're describing an 88 year old female, not a 68 year old one.

as per posting the photos, the story is all over the web. And similar pictures have been posted on other threads. Not the first time this kind of topic is here.

probably someone who attended the wedding got the pictures. Everything is digitized these days.
