On a more serious note the major fault is the manager's. Fred is not a CDM yet you play him there with our laziest midfielder as his partner. A manager has to place his players in the best position to succeed and Amaka so far has not succeeded in doing that consistently enough.

That however does not absolve Fred and a few of the other players from individual errors of potentially catastrophic proportions. Miscuing a simple interception and passing the ball straight to the most dangerous opponent on the pitch are borderline criminal actions.

A true 4-3-3 with one CDM and 2 CMs (and no 10/SS) will give us better control and make us a better team overall. With the wealth of talent we have in our forward line now we don't need a 2nd striker the way Bruno plays it. What we need is more control in midfield in order to dictate the tempo of games.

For a CDM and Pogba in midfield to work Bruno has to drop into midfield and make it a real 3 man midfield with a CDM, Pogba at LCM, and Bruno at RCM. We have enough firepower in attack with 3 out of CR7, Greenwood, Sancho, Cavani, Martial, Rashford on the pitch at any given time.

Fred’s problem is passing the ball after winning it. He makes at least 10 mistakes per game and this is because Ole is brainless. A player like Fred should be conditioned not to pass the ball more than 5-10 yards to a team mate.

I often see Fred attempting cross field passes ranging from 20-40 yards, I see Fred attempting line breaking passes. Ole should know he’s not capable of such passes. Fred’s main objective should be winning the ball and making short passes.

I think the 3 goals Bruno had for 1st match don enter his brain and want to continue scoring so as to top the rank. Leaving his primary duty which is to assist the attackers.

I think it's a fair valuation considering his contract.
his pace will be massive for Leeds United.
Lingard will also thrive in that Leeds team. I don't why Moyes is sleeping on Lingard till now.

if nobody comes in, I think a 3-5-2 morphed into a 3-4-1-2 attacking may be the best way to fully harness the squad. based on game peculiarities, a CB can go out and another forward introduced for a formation swap.
the drawback will be a position for Sancho who's the only full winger we have. I don't know if he plays AM or SS as well.
either Lindelof or Telles gets back in the team, and we can comfortably have McFred without sacrificing creativity. this formation will most likely cover either Pogba or Matic as well against pacy players if deployed as one of the DM.
Dalot will also become an attractive sub depending on the needs of a game.
