Mount does not even play in the pivot for Chelsea. He plays further forward in attacking midfield or sometimes on the wing. Only madness can explain a manager chasing him for 50m, and i don't think ETH is mad.

ETH is playing a double 8.

I think it should be obvious to you guys by now.

Eriksen and Mount don't play in the same position or role for their clubs. That is the main point.

My point is that ETh can make it work , by playing Double 8 with Mount and Bruno if he wants to.

Eriksen position doesn't matter. the reason why ETH can't play Eriksen as part of a double 8 is because of his poor defensive work rate, so he's using him as a double pivot.

Mount on the other hand can function effectively as one of the 8s
