I see you are online, do not forget the days of humble beginnings, when you would always check this thread first. (Just kidding)

@ House
where are our contributions to the thread? Thank God for folks like Robbie Lex, KDB, 2good and a few others there would have been no information at all. Lots of us just read through the post of others and disappear without even saying hello. Even if you do not have information from shell, you could at least give some form of encouragement to everyone. Even those who have gotten their offer letter have suddenly disappeared. Let take a leaf from our counterparts in the 'which way NLNG' thread. Kudos to all those who have continuously contributed to the growth of the thread. He who waters will also be watered. God bless and reward you guys, you are the best.lol

I agree with you absolutely. We got to keep this thread burning even while in ELV.
This can really serve as a good reference point for future SITP students.

The few guys posting regularly, keep on the good work.

Bross, thanks for your numerous insightful and well-informed posts.
After,the SITP training, what informs the department (team) you are posted?
is it based on SITP performance, your first degree, combinations of the two or just by random sampling shocked

On a more serious note, what are the factors you feel are considered for the posting.

Hi guys,
Just finished work for 2day in this crazy bank I work. i am still in the dark about outcome of my SRD and would see what would happen after the march 4th deadline given by shell tohose that were successful.
I have call every number I have in HR except Ifedon whom I have not been able to access but they keep on telling me to wait so I guess all I can do is to still wait.
KDB and co how are you guys preparing for ELV? wish you guys the best.

Goodevening. Long time no post. How una dey? I dont know if this is useful. I was finally able to get a hr phone no. I spoke to the lady who told me i should keep an open mind until probably the second week in march that they are having discussions about the remaining people on the waiting list. So SITP1 hopefuls, keep yours hopes alive. With God all things are possible.

ma broda we doing good, and frankly i cant wait, i got responsibilities man cool cool cool

man you looked by far the most worked up shell hopefull on this thread, you need to take a lil easy aight, what will be will be, if shell aint for ya then am sure theres better somewhere else n real soon, all in Gods time mate, i go call you later,

too other shell hopefulls, give shell a break aight, this isnt jus a recruitment exercise or something, its actually for employment with the company, so naturally its gonna take some time, besides, word is their taking alot more than they did last yr, 80 peeps went in last yr as compared to the 120 peeps going in this yr so y'all can imagine,

anyways february is over and we are now entering march so whatever the outcome, everyone will know his or her fate within the net two weeks,

keep your heads up ok guys, stay prayerfull n blessed, wink wink wink
Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by Miketomi: 1:25pm On Feb 28, 2008
I guess at this point, evey SHELL hopeful should be psychologically prepared for both positive and negative outcome from the HR folks.
However one thing we should all have at the back of our mind is that all things work together for the good of those that love God. Rom 8:28.
So still be very hopeful for the very best in life.

hello nairalanders. long time no post. it unbelievable what about 3 weeks could mean to a person's live. I was on a residencey job in some funny place like that. internet access was very scarse and the only thing i could do is to check my box as fast as a can.

that was where i picked my pre-employment medicals on 18, my mdicals was shifted to 22nd in lagos.

@onavae
so sorry that it came out this way, i believe any disappointment is a blessing. i belive mobil and chevron are waiting for you. you are too connected to be disconnected, u are too informed to be deformed. no mind shell.

that was similar to my problem with chevron and mobil. i will send in application like any other person. they wont even shortlist me talk more of callinf me for interview even though my result was excellent.

@KDB
congratulations o, seee you in edjeba on april 1.

@HR hopefuls
you guys should be getting ready, they will call you soon, believe me

Yes o

I blv by now, most of the working class must have tendered or about to tender their resignation letter.
Mine is a sort of mixed feelings, begining to miss my guys (the only coy where we rule our world) but at the same time really looking forward to SITP, a land of serious academics work with fat salary grin grin grin

I am also excited that I will be leaving Lagos madness in terms of traffic holdup.
In Warri, no traffic holdup.
In ELV, classes from hostels are walking distances.
