Well somethings just come with the premium and I guess the BMW is one. A man will always have to do what a man has to do. Life is short we' v got to live it to the fullest and also be smart about it. |

am coming from a accord even though have used several I ship them in directly have never had to do anything except regular servicing because naturally I care for mycars well. I identified a good guy standby just incase Honda place trained he's got his own shop and well equipped. Hopefully I'll dig out a good cosharis trained specialist that owns his own equipped place. |
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by izyoku: 8:28pm On Nov 04, 2013 |
Am sure there'll be well trained guys from cosharis who own their own small places and possibly relatively equipped places. guys if you've got a bimmer and you are on in here and live in lasgidi and don't have a very well equipped technical shop servicing your bimmer lets spot it out. |

Re: BMW Owners' Forum by samuelk(m): 8:07am On Nov 05, 2013 |
well, i find BMWs easy to carryout DIY repairs on if you are brave enough. Ever since i got my E46 330i, i've been carrying out repairs on my own. so far i've been able to carryout fixes like cam sensor replacement (exhaust), Radiator change, Intake manifold cleaning and its components like ICV e.t.c. Absorber replacement. This fixes have DIY tutorials and videos online and helps the owner to understand his/her vehicle better. My neighbours laugh at me when i go under the car saying 'why you go buy motor wey dey problematic like BMW' not knowing i love carrying out preventive maintenance. 2 Likes |

I can give you the contacts of the guys who diagnosed the E60 in the previous page with a failed water pump. One of them is a former Coscharis staff and the other i can't say but quite good enough. |

Re: BMW Owners' Forum by izyoku: 11:35am On Nov 05, 2013 |
t-die......people that's the man who chose the 3'er for me wicked German machine medical doctor. I was torn between an Audi A4 2.0T and the BMW 3'er but he helped me chose seemlessly.....and yes the warning stay away from turbo charged engines in nigeria not very many technically sound experts on the turbo's |
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by tdie: 11:59am On Nov 05, 2013 |
yungboss: ....Hmmmm.... Audi A4 B6 3.0 V6. = 217 Brake Horsepower BMW E90. 328 3.OL I6 = 228. Brake Horsepower However 0 - 100km/:hour acceleration times are similar @ 6.90 seconds (source = www.carinf.com/en/5a6109526.html) All na grammar joor... Let's bring it on.... ;-). Work hard, play hard Modification; Ok, the source I just quoted had stats for the E36 328i... Will look around for stats for the E90 vs the A4. B6. I'm openminded though, and not blindly supporting the Audi- she's heavier with all that quattro drivetrain... :-( |
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by izyoku: 12:15pm On Nov 05, 2013 |
...yeah guys the Quattro 4wheel drive puts some extra weight on the Audi and impacts on the acceleration time and fuel efficiency, same goes for the X drive 3'er... |

Re: BMW Owners' Forum by izyoku: 6:33pm On Nov 05, 2013 |
@yungboss that 335i and its 258HP is good for boys in abuja or uyo not for lasgidi boys like us. In another news I think the 328i will give the Audi A4 quattro a good run for its money. |
