A dual core system running at 1.6GHz is alright. don't scare them away from vista. Dual cores are barely over 2GHz, so saying 2GHz makes Vista seem for servers only u get?

You could also try out the Core 2 Duo, a completely rewired version of the Core Duo released sometimes around November last year. Has a larger L2 cache and works best with Vista.
