Politics › Re: How Ribadu Plotted To Sack Yar’adua, Says Ibori by 9ja4eva: 5:49pm On Sep 29, 2009 |
ojesymsym: Politicians have a way of making nigerians look stupid, I am happy I am not included. 1. They started by saying Ribadu was simply witching hunting them for being against obj (maybe obj was against them for being corrupt). Mind you, they weren't saying they were not corrupt o 2. They said Ribadu did not follow due process in his approach, he says he applied it based on the interpretation of the law. (Moreover, who says CIA/FBI always follow due process in their approach, at least we usually use them as models) 3. They say Ribadu is proud, arrogant and stubborn, these sound to me lke familiar description for upright and no nonsense people who dont bend to our way 4. They say Ribadu did not declare his asset, he says check your records, I did (His word against their word and from experience, never trust a politician) 5. Now they are graduating to the next level, saying Ribadu was corrupt, they never said that when the guy was using his bull dog on them (or were they afraid then?)
Unfortunately, some educated people even on this forum are following in this serial stupid line of reasonning
The next thing they will tell us is that Obj and Ribadu were one and same person simply doubling as 2. I hope I wont hear that part.
Like Ribadu said, If u fight corruption, corruption will fight you back, Substitute Ibori for corruption, u will understand exactly wat is happening rite now. Seconded. Ibori is a bloody self-servicer.He thinks that interview changes anything? He must be joking |

Christianity Etc › Re: Queen Of Sheba Took Off At The Arrival Of Bishop Oyedepo by 9ja4eva: 11:49pm On Sep 25, 2009 |
EarthCall: I have been following this thread with both consternation and interest, love to all that defended the Queen of Sheba, it is ridiculous. Firstly I was in Liberia when the Queen was there, she was invited for the Republic of Liberia commissioning of the Traditional Council and both the Liberia President and the Queen were the guest of honor in the 3 days live televised activities, That was also carried on international news. The Queen arrived on 14th July in Liberia to a warm welcome that was covered by the press. Day one the Queen attended special functions in honor of her visit.
This too was covered by the Press and on tape, including the Queens call for unity and nation building to empower the grass-roots people of Africa and to step by step correctly use Africa's wealth of resources to help first and foremost the African people, and with that ALL of the African People, so Almighty God can smile on us as his first born of Nations again. The Queen spoke well and sincerely. Day two was also carried live, at the final function on that day, the QUEEN that is here being bash was award the Republics Certificate of Honor for over 25 years of efforts and activities for the African People. Day 3 was the big day, the Queen had the place silent when she gave a mighty speech to the benefit of the entire Black Nation, there were Representatives from the UN, USA, China, Africa, World bank, you name it, the cabinet and Parliament of Liberia, guest of government from other African Countries and so forth, and lots of News People including international journalist.
What was interesting was a comment the Queen made that got a wide applaud. She said: , " if anyone thinks I walk on a bed of roses, they are wrong, anyone, anyone that stands up for the grass-root African People, anyone that stands up for the African nation, anyone that stands up to fight for a change for our people, will face prejudice, will face trials and tribulations, will face and be prepare to face and be called all the DIRTY AND EVIL NAMES in the books, you will face all, as all that walked and fought for Africa before you. But know this I am ready, it is said Charity begins at home and I will fight, for my first responsibility is to the people of Africa." , I wish I had a copy of the tape to put here, it was one of the greatest speeches of this time,
The Queen was due to travel on the 21st, which was publicly informed, and so registered, and can be easily checked they flew with Nigerian VIRGIN AIRLINES, There was again a big farewell program at the Airport with at least 20 members of the Press and dignitaries, so what is being said is rubbish the Queen ran from no-one. That article was placed by the Chronicle run by the Liberian opposition, the Queen even attended Church whilst in Liberia. At the 3rd day Function one of the Royals performed traditional Libation which was used by the opposition to attack the Liberian President and the Queen was used in the crossfire.
The Queens farewell on the 21st was in style, the Queen stayed at the Royal Hotel by the way, a completely different Hotel than the Bishop. The story was used by the Chronicle to sell the newspapers which unfortunately this Bishop without checking placed on his site, and damage his own name by doing that, for what?
It is sad. Thanks Mehn.Where the followers dey? |
