OvertheTop:Option one may work but option two is a never! How him wan take pay for house for Garki with him 80k salary? |
dikings:Funny as it may sound, that the truth. |
mastermaestro:Sadly, that’s the fate of many a worker today. They’re just going because the don’t to be laughed at by neighbors. |
lavylilly:Savings how? When he will buy data, send clothes, hospital bills (when illness knocks) send mummy and daddy something once in a while…. Guyyyyy |
My friend works in a private organization where he’s paid 80k per month. It was actually increased from 69 to 80k after the first fuel hike. The company can’t do another increment after the second hike meanwhile, his transport fare had increased by another 25%. He works from Monday to Saturday. His transport fare to and from work is 1500 daily excluding feeding. Dude spends an average of 3k daily for TP and feeding. Tell me, what is his gain? |

This photo only looks “absurd” because the man in it looks like a northerner… and you know why, right? This is something tht would not have been given any negative connotations had the man and the girl been dressed differently. The north don spoil everything for us.. even things that should look normal now look abnormal.🤕🤕 |
Spend everything. You fit die tomorrow and next of kin go flex your savings. |
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set 140 benchmarks and above as the cut-off mark for 2023 admissions into universities across the country. The Registrar of the board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this during a presentation at the 2023 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions and Awards on Saturday in Abuja. Oloyede also said 100 has been set as cut-off mark for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, explained that the aforementioned points are the minimum any student must get before they can be admitted into any tertiary institution across the country. Do you think this is a good development for our country’s education sector? Considering that year after year, the cut -off mark keeps going lower which can encourage our students to be lazier as they do not need to work hard to attain high scores like before.

shonepa:Madness confirmed! Bye |
shonepa:There’s no way on earth I’m going to dignify you with an explanation since you believe that skitmakers aren’t making money legitimately. Please confirm your insanity by telling me that filmmakers too are making money illegitimately…. Cause both of them are into the same business. |
You will not support them, you will still make policies to suppress them even though they’re trying to make a living for themselves legitimately. I just tire for this country. Naso soldiers dey beat boys that year for wearing khaki for skits. As if na them invent khaki. If the other people wey invent the khaki that they’re laying claim to decide to tell our soldiers to stop wearing their invention nkor? Shey them go vex. Nansense! |
hedonido:Why being so unnecessarily hard on a people already pressed to the ground? Are you not aware of what happened in 2020 during ENDSARS? How people were brutally murdered in cold blood for coming out to exercise their rights to protest? How many people have been held accountable for the killings? How then do you think people will have the strength to go out next time when such atrocities are left to go unpinished? |
@Seun @myndd44 @lalasticlala Make una move this to front page na |
VeeVeeMyLuv:You can say that again. The earning of the average Nigerian has remained static for decades now while inflation has soared and dwarfed their purchasing powers. Sadly, when the few who are (un)lucky to earn far more than the average ones splash their monies in parties and public events, they leave the average hustling guy feeling like he’s not doing enough and needs to double their hustle…. Which may lead them to untimely deaths. |
So here’s the thing. A person who graduated in 2010 and earned 100k per month would live like a king. He would pay his bills seamlessly and even have change to spare. My elder brother bought his first car in 2012 for 900k as direct Belgium. Fast forward to 2023. When you graduate today and earn the same 100k. You’d sweat to meet your bills every month. In fact, some people are living month to month on debt despite earning 100k plus every month. This video speaks to these issues and I think every young Nigerian should watch it. It is not that we are not doing enough… it is not that we are not working hard enough. It is the country that has failed us. Don’t let anyone pressure you into doing crime or earn illegitimate money or even working like a donkey just so you can meet your needs. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqIqxAOugAs |
helinues:Shey na everybody go make money for this life abi? Shey no be people God dey use raise other people? |
jmoore:When did they increase the price of PMS? I’m talking about something that has been going on for over 2yrs. |
Parachoko:Go up and read again. Where did you see that he can’t drive? |
Wahala for who marry two wives. Na quarrel this one go dey settle every day for house. |
It was a very dramatic moment on Tuesday when the first wife of the newly elected speaker of the House of Representatives, TJ Abass hurried to the stage where he was being sworn in and pushed the first away from him…. Apparently, stopping her from taking the shine as the man’s First Lady. The look on the face of the clerk when he noticed the displacement was thoroughly entertaining.🤣🤣🤣. Wahala go dey for this man house ò! Watch the video here https://youtube.com/shorts/SNzggmrX1-c?feature=share |
Here’s the other prt. I once spoke with the guy and he said he’d asked his brother for a car one time but his brother said he’d need to discuss it with his wife first. But after waiting for months without reply, he gave up and moved on. |
Okay, I have this neighbor who has four cars in his garage but has this particular sibling who comes to take his kids to and from school whenever he’s not in town. This brother takes public transport to work and hs brother who has spare cars don’t seem to care. Methinks it’d be nice if he’s offered one of the cars even if he has to pay for it (by installment). What do you think? |
Engrduke:That one shock me scatter! The nomination of Yari by SIA is no surprise though. Like begets like. I am just super glad they failed, though surprised he polled over 40 votes though. |
Hon. Tajudeen Abbass has been overwhelmingly elected as the speaker of the 10th house of assembly and he replaces FEMI Gbajabiamila who is now the Chief of staff to the president. |
Earlier this morning, distinguished senator Godswill Akpabio was elected president of the senate and after polling over 60 votes as majority in the red chambers. He was immediately sworn in by the clerk and takes the seat of the senate replacing the former president while Jibrin Barau was also elected as deputy senate president. Meanwhile, Hon. Tajjudeen Abbas has been elected the speaker of the house. As he overwhelmingly won over his closest rival, Idris Wase. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-llDg7fQiAE |
