DissTroy:It seems that your 2KB memory capacity can't read and understand simple statements in English. Are stars in your room? Aren't they in space? This level of stupidity is astounding. People use space in this context to mean extrasolar space, not the space around you, dumbo. I've never seen a more foolish person on the Internet, lols ![]() You, a nonentity on Nl, are more knowledgeable than the planetary scientists that postulated this theory and published their findings and evidence, with many scientists around the world holding the same notion. https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/are-we-really-made-of-stardust.html https://www.space.com/35276-humans-made-of-stardust-galaxy-life-elements.html https://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/permanent/the-universe/stars/a-spectacular-stellar-finale/we-are-stardust When NASA says space, they must be talking about the space in your room. Such a senseless poster. Don't quote me again to post nonsense. I don't have time for nonentities. |
They just taught the terrorist a new word today. Only on Nairaland you'd see half-baked graduates calling the Big Bang theory, accretion, pangea pseudoscience. Lols. Anything that the writers of the Bible and Qur'an weren't knowledgeable enough to put in those books is pseudoscience. Nairaland really has one of the largest concentrations of ignorant, scientifically illiterate people online. |
larride:Well done |
larride:Lols |
Scientific theories are meant to be criticized and questioned, and all theories in science have their critics. That's the beauty of science. Being open to criticism and questioning, these theories can be improved and refined or modified based on evidence, and some might be disproven. But anyone waiting for the Big Bang theory to be disproven is really on a long thing. It's one of the most successful theories in Physics, though it has its flaws. It can be improved and refined based on evidence. Even the most successful theories in science, the modern evolutionary theory and the Standard Model (in Particle Physics), also have their critics, mostly especially religious people. |

DissTroy:Ode, you only saw Wikipedia there. The facts on Wikipedia are corroborated by the other links from authoritative bodies like NASA, Space, and National Geographic. This mofo is incurably stupid. He wants to prove that the elements constituting our body didn't have their origin in space. Which kind scientific illiterate be this? The Big Bang theory is still the best model that explains the origin of this planet and the universe, and it explains how the elements constituting the body were formed in space. The Earth itself formed from cosmic dust via accretion. This illiterate doesn't know the meaning of the word "cosmic" because I know it's stated many times when you googled "accretion", a term you'd never heard of in your life until I mentioned it, but just read about it on Google now and still couldn't see where "cosmic" is used many times in those sources, meaning the elements constituting the Earth are extraterrestrial in nature. |
Donjazet2:No, I don't have an interest in astrology. But my interest (professionally) is in Astrophysics and Cosmology. |
DissTroy:Wetin dis one dey talk. The Universe is about 13.6 billion years old, but the Earth is only around 4.6 billion years old, and you don't know the planet came from earlier celestial or extraterrestrial bodies predating it? This your nonsensical post only shows the decadence of Nigeria's education system. Before you disgrace yourself further, read about the concept called accretion in Astrophysics, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accretion_(astrophysics)# All the organic elements constituting the human body, animals, plants, microbes, etc. all have their roots in space. Read and cure yourself of ignorance https://www.space.com/35276-humans-made-of-stardust-galaxy-life-elements.html https://astrobiology.nasa.gov/education/alp/are-we-really-made-of-star-stuff/ https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/formation-earth |
DissTroy:Unfounded concoction like those in your Bible or Qur'an? Lols. Only a foolish person talks about a book he hasn't read and doesn't have. The human folly knows no bounds. |
Theflint1:And where did the elements constituting plants originate from? The whole planet itself came from earlier celestial or extraterrestrial bodies. |
DissTroy:Lols, na you dey give IQ scores on Nairaland by merely looking at a person's moniker. Ode. The fool sounds like an incompetent village teacher that awards high marks to a student in a subject simply because of good handwriting. So if my username is A10000000, that makes my IQ score 10000000. Omo ode ![]() Where dey see this one wey dey talk like a drunkard inebriated with emu ![]() |
DissTroy:Ask Google if everything is okay without your tiny brain. Google may cure your inanity. |
Donjazet2:Whatever you feel about Otem or his book or me is your problem to deal with. You can add it to your list of problems in life. I support good books of history and philosophy wherever I see them, and Otem's book is one of such. If my support gives you a headache and you see it mischievously as a religion, then that's your folly, which is none of my concern. Whether you like it or not, I'll always support a good book of history so long it advocates science and philosophy over religion. I don't know how a person can sound so foolish, calling a book author (a Kogi guy) a deity. If you need the book, you may look for the author's email on Nairaland and request it. He may send it to you. He hardly replies emails anyways. |
Mention one pseudoscientific point in my posts; he's posting nonsense. |
PtolemySoter:You've moved to your alternate. So you even know pangea existed. Lols, as scientists and Otem say in his book. He don finally Google am. Ignorant mofo. I clearly stated the existence of the supercontinent called pangea is an established scientific fact, which Otem also gave a story about in his book. But I never said the breaking of the continent into parts as narrated by Otem is an established scientific fact. Until his story about the breaking of pangea is proven scientifically, it remains a claim. An intelligent person would have deduced this point from my posts, but such isn't expected from a quack doctor, a disgrace to the noble profession of medicine. |
larride:Lols, keep praising a guy like yourself. Folly no dey end. You wan move from worshipping a past being you call God to worshipping a present being, both of which are human Lols |
afrodoc2:Point out the pseudoscience in my posts. If you can't, you've only succeeded in making a fool of yourself in public. A person with a smartphone is calling pangea, accretion (the concept I stated earlier about how Earth came into being) pseudoscience? In the 21st century? Lols, this is such a big disgrace! |
I told him to point out the pseudoscience in my posts, but he can't and instead resorted to calling me names. This is how you know an expert in quackery. |
afrodoc2:Fixed, Nairaland's one and only quack doctor ![]() |
A scientifically illiterate person parading as a doctor, lols. Even if you don't know zilch about Astrophysics or Geology, you can easily check Google before making a fool of yourself in public by calling common knowledge in these scientific fields pseudoscience. But when mischief has beclouded a person's intellect, they would post foolishly instead of first learning what they don't know. |
afrodoc2:Lols. The quack doctor can't point out the pseudoscience in my posts and resorted to name-calling. That's the MO of mischievous, obtuse people type first and think later, that's if they can even think at all. |
Better to keep quiet and be assumed a fool than speak and remove all doubt. |
afrodoc2:Can you point the pseudoscience in my posts. Is it pangea that's pseudoscientific or the published papers about the existence of a universe predating ours or the fact Earth came from earlier celestial/extraterrestrial bodies predating the planet or the well-known theory that states we're all made some elements from stars? Which of them? Lols. This comment is a such disgrace. You can be based in a developed country and still know very little about scientific theories and discoveries. |
Obviously, the Saudi's slave doesn't know that even if some scientists debunk the theory that states all elements constituting the human came from stars, it's not possible to debunk that the elements constituting our bodies have extraterrestrial origin. The Earth itself as a planet came from earlier extraterrestrial bodies that existed before the planet was formed. He thinks it's one local god from one corner in Saudi that created humans because the book of lies he calls a holy book says so, yet the same book has been proven to contain lots of scientific errors and contradictions. Anyway, the religious texts will lose value drastically in the future with more scientific breakthroughs and discoveries. |
Many nlers don't know that the more one delves into Astrophysics and Extraterrestrial physics, the more many stories of Otem make sense and look like real history. In his book, he explains how the ancient people (Atum, Yahweh, Allah, Olorun, and co) first existed in another Universe different from the physical Universe. Today, many astrophysicists and theoretical physicists, famous among which is the nobel laureate Roger Penrose, believe another Universe existed before our own Universe. The Otem guy also explained how these past beings, who the religious think are God because they designed early humans and religions, lived on a single continent on Earth and how they formed different continents by digging the earth crust and breaking it. It's an established fact in Geology that all continents existed as a single supercontinent (pangea is the geological term) in the ancient past. These are just many of the scientific findings that give credence to the guy's roughly 1300-page history book. Researchers and astrophysicists would appreciate this guy, even though most Nigerians don't appreciate what they have. Anyway, the author wrote the book for the future when science will have advanced to the extent that most of Otem's claims will have become common knowledge to our descendants. |
nihilistjnr:Lols. Olorun is the mythical, ancient King, which the Otem guy calls an extraterrestrial (ET). By the time you compare this story with various other myths about the source of humanity in different cultures around the world, you'll see that ET connection, and it won't be wrong to conclude that humanity has its origin in extraterrestrial bodies or entities. Already, scientific findings have shown we are all made up of stars. In other words, almost all the elements constituting each of the human body came from some dead stars in space. Thus, the myth (also explained in Otem's history book) about Olorun sending down Odua, the progenitor of the Yoruba race, from space to earth with a chain may actually be true. Our origin is extraterrestrial. |
sod09:Sharia laws are man-made laws that mostly favor the rich and the powerful in society. The earlier you, religious people, see the reality that religions and all religious laws were created by humans like you and I, the better for us as a country. Nothing divine in Sharia or any religious law or religion. Humans do all things on this plane, and the gods/God (deities) of religions were human first before they were deified or deify themselves. And those that really benefit in a religion are the original creators of the religious system, which is Saudi, in this case. Any other people like the Islamic clerics such as our in-house terrorist-apologist just get crumbs from their slave masters, Saudi. |
TrebleChamp:Na GEJ force him to make poor economic decisions and waste time in constituting an economic team and appointing ministers, just like Obi is responsible for all the problems in Anambra. Buhari and Soludo aren't blameworthy. In BAT supporters' logic. If APC leads this country again in 2023, they'll sound the death knell on Nigeria as a nation for good. |
Look at the state they're comparing with Anambra. In the 1960s and 1970s, while one state was developing economically being a national capital attracting thousands from all parts of the country, the other was getting destroyed by war, the Biafran War. I'm sure BAT is also responsible for this pull by Lagos even as late as the 1970s and that PO is responsible for state of the war-ravaged Enugu then, the former capital of Old Anambra, according to BAT supporters. Comparing Lagos to Anambra is so unreasonable and baseless. Lagos should be rightly compared with Abuja.
|
Tataffo:People comparing Lagos with Anambra don't know what it means to be a former national capital and what it means for a state to rise from the ashes of war. One primary reason why Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria and West Africa today is because it was the former capital of Nigeria. But look at the unreasonable argument educated people are posting here, painting the picture that Lagos was very underdeveloped before Tinubu. The truth is, it has always been a relatively developed state that has been attracting thousands from different parts of Nigeria even well before Tinubu dreamt of running for the post of governor. |
