Na 11 against 1 una dey do for here? Na just to give both warring parties one like. This thread and daily fights sha dem be 5 and 6 |
raumdeuter:Lols |
raumdeuter:Obi has his issues, but he's the least corrupt and, hence, the better candidate out of the three popular presidential aspirants. A drug baron like Tinubu from the evil party APC doesn't qualify to lead. Over the past 8 years, we've seen what the party can do: nothing to write home about. APC has had their chance and squandered it. Atiku is a Fulani and from the evil party PDP, and we can't endure the painful years of his Fulani brother Buhari's government only to have another Fulani lead again. PDP, Atiku's party, also had their chance and squandered it. These are salient factors that make PO candidacy the preferable out of the three. |
raumdeuter:Millions of people lived in Anambra under Obi. How did you know they see Obi as a curse? Did you conduct a survey to sample those residents' opinion about PO's performance as governor? It's easy to find five posts or thereabouts online criticizing PO. But that's not enough to make a conclusion from. Any conclusion made from such a scanty sample will be erroneous. |
raumdeuter:All this one na political gimmicks that lack substance. Some years back, is that not how Buhari claimed Nigeria had attained food sufficiency? Liar Muhammed also made several false assertions before and after APC came to power. So, all these crooks hailing Tinubu as the architect of modern Lagos are only doing eye service and politics. Tinubu wey Fashola even performed much better than in Lagos.
|
raumdeuter:I didn't live in Anambra during Obi's tenure and can't say much about PO's performance. I know he also his shortcomings but compared with crooks like BAT and Atiku, Obi na learner. If Buhari (and Tinubu) had fulfilled some of their campaign promises, Nigerians would vote for them again gladly. But it turned out that Buhari has become a synonym for hardship and suffering and Tinubu the pioneer of bullion van politicking. In the absence of any coalition that can stand toe-to-toe with APC and PDP, PO is the most reasonable option. |
raumdeuter:The bullion van drug baron built Lagos State ; weird statements we see on Nairaland and will remain on Nairaland. If one even says something like this in some places in Lagos, he could be lynched. In a country of over 200 million people, yet it's one drug addict that you're encouraging people to vote for. APC doesn't have what it takes to lead neither does PDP. Personally, I'd have preferred that candidates like Sowore and the likes form a coalition. But those ones aren't serious. Only PO can put up a decent performance in the polls by February. People, both the educated and the uneducated, are really tired of APC's and PDP's misrule, but what we've are some Nigerians overseas campaigning for a drug baron to lead the country, and yet they can't live under the leader they're promoting. Such a pathetic situation. |
izzou:Yes. Does it prove that Obi is responsible for the all the problems in the state, as Raumdeuter says? I don't know how anyone wants to prove such a farcical claim anyway. |
raumdeuter:Not surprising coming an APGA stalwart. Out of the five democratic governors the state has had, you've already singled one to carry the heavy burden of all the problems in the state. Obi's Anambra, Tinubu's Lagos; these are some of the strangest things I saw on Nairaland this year. One would think these politicians are the current governors or immediate past governors of the state. |
[quote author=popizaino post=118281404]I will like to see him starting against Newcastle United on Saturday.Lewis Hall is ready for the future. a talented player that somehow looks like KDB and plays like him. Hope Chelsea will allow him to develop properly. |

Former Tottenham manager Sherwood made valid points here: “You can’t argue they have not got the strike force. Chelsea are making two prolific goalscorers in the Premier League, Aubameyang and Lukaku, look terrible. “They need to look at themselves. I know it’s two different mangers, it’s not all Potter’s fault, it’s Tuchel’s as well. “But that control of the game is quite boring. I like control of the game and playing progressively forward, but they are not passing it forward quickly enough. “It’s very difficult to get continuity when Graham Potter keeps making so many changes. You are not at Brighton anymore, you can’t experiment, you have not got time to do that. “If you lose one more game, everyone will be looking at him. They are not playing well and we don’t know his best side. “Everyone is in different positions, so they need some continuity and a way of playing. He’s trying to keep everyone happy, but at this rate he will be sacked and they will get a new manager in. “He needs to start leaving big players out and that is what being a manager of a big club is about. I think he is trying to keep everyone happy, but they are not picking up enough points.” |

3 losses in a row, and Newcastle is next. Another potential loss on the horizon. Potter can't last on the job unless he secures a CL spot this season. But that's getting more ellusive by the day. Only an unserious club owner sacks a world-class coach and hires an amateur worse than Lampard. Clubs sack coaches to get someone better, not to appoint someone much below the level of the person they sacked. This Boehly looks set to destroy this great club that RA built. |
Amoto94:Still one of our most accomplished coaches |

Jorginho has a slight foot injury, according to Potter, and may not play today. He can rest for as long as possible, including sitting out our next EPL match against the Magpies. |
raumdeuter:Oshodi? Tinubu made Oshodi worse with his thugs. Fashola cleaned up Oshodi, not Tinubu. Stop this misinformation, please. And Fashola's achievements in Lagos Island trump that of Tinubu by far. Besides, Lagos has many areas, but you only mentioned just two to prove that Tinubu built Lagos. Even those two are false. The simple truth is no single governor built Lagos, and the Lagos we see today is as a result of the joint effort of the past and present governors. Also, Lagos isn't Tinubu's property. |
raumdeuter:Lols. Raumdeuter is saying Lagos was underdeveloped before Tinubu. SMH. The video doesn't prove anything. Before Tinubu, the pedigree of Lagos as a popular rural-urban migration destination is well-known. |
raumdeuter:Hopeless amala turning. I guess before Tinubu, no governor ruled Lagos and did some good works that Tinubu's administration benefitted from. Till tomorrow, Jakande will still be remembered in Lagos for his good works while as governor. He built a good legacy for himself as a former governor of the state, unlike the drug baron. Tinubu doesn't own Lagos, neither does Obi own Anambra. This amala turning na failure He's started painting the picture of an underdeveloped Lagos before Tinubu again. You're only twisting Lagos history in vain. It's common knowledge Lagos has been a popular destination attracting many Nigerians even well before Tinubu's government. Tinubu met an already developed Lagos State, a former capital of Nigeria that has also been the economic capital of the country before Tinubu came on board. |
raumdeuter:How is it Tinubu's Lagos? Does Tinubu from Iragbiji own Lagos? Na him father property Obi doesn't own Anambra State as well. No single person does. |
raumdeuter:That makes BAT candidacy a bad one for us. You should be willing to live under his government if he's truly a good candidate. raumdeuter:I didn't mention Lagos in my post and Anambra isn't a country. The last time I checked, Soludo is governor now, not Obi that left office 8 years ago and another leader has even served after him before Soludo. |

raumdeuter:He's the best candidate but you can't live under his government. What an irony! raumdeuter: |
Obviously, the released documents don't indict BAT. But it's common knowledge he's a very corrupt fellow who made his money using shady means. The infamous Bullion Van drug lord who has Lagos State in his pockets. The amount of money he gets daily from the state is enough to change the life of the average Nigerian forever. He's not worthy of holding the highest office in the land. But this is Nigeria where the morally bankrupt and corrupt are celebrated and given awards, as exemplified by some so-called educated people here, who are a microcosm of the bigger macrocosm. In a saner clime, people like BAT deserve serious public backlash and prosecution. If BAT were a politician in a country like China, he for don die by death by hanging for years and his name will go down in history as one of the most corrupt politicians in the country. That's why the Asian country is moving forward and Nigeria is retrogressing. |
Sportsweb:BlueAngel444 and Amoto94 post their team news and transfer news with maturity. You go don no say dey get experience for football matters, especially Amoto. But this kid is completely green and does the posting (spamming rather) immaturely. Looks like someone with a lot of free time on his hands and is wasting it on transfer rumors. |
This boy is something else. He dey bring Pep's mind games for today's match to prove Potter is a great coach. Lols. It would take a miracle for us to chop less than 3 goals from Man City. If Potter lets Pep's mind games get to him, we go chop more. This kid na complete JJC |
Theflint1:Na US way of influencing the presidential election results. |
BlueRayDick:Lols, BAT na baba for this game o. I didn't even know he's been on the case since 1993. Na dis one wan rule Nigeria? Na wa o |
Why US no just carry the drug baron, instead of merely releasing these documents. I doubt the vast majority of BAT supporters on the streets have the time to read some court documents. What's stopping the US from extraditing and prosecuting the hardened criminal? |
nihilistjnr:Unity beggars no go like dis. Forced marriage, yet no tribe loves the other |
OasisX:Can't remember the last time I saw the guy online on Nairaland. |
