We should first start by defining what “god” means, what characteristics does it have, most agnostics are theists sympathizers.
If you don't have a definition of what god is, then why are you on this thread? I don't have time to waste on frivolous discussion. So, I'll simply bin your mentions.
Christianity EtcRe: Atheists And Atheism by A001:
Saying God exists or not is an extreme position based on ignorance and hasty conclusion, especially since neither side has solid evidence to back their position. If all things in existence have a source, scientists will eventually discover it.

Hence, agnosticism is the most reasonable position about the existence of God for now.

Having said that, anyone that does a deep study of Otem's writings will simply realize atheism doesn't make sense. That guy has the best and most reasonable answer about the nature of God.

Apart from the fact that his approach to the God problem looks abstract to me, I don't really have any issues with his position which simply states God is consciousness and energy — all that really exists.

This is a statement with a lot of depth that when researched could even make scientists create a new field of Physics.

Science is still the best tool to solve all problems, including the God problem, not religion.

Let's not judge the past with the standard of today. Some historians will tell you Mary was about 12 to 15 when God inserted Jesus inside her.
Go and preach to the millions of Muslims that still lead their lives in modern times based on the standards of the archaic past as contained in Qur'an. You're barking the wrong tree.

Today, many of them engage in religious violence and child marriage following the practices of their 'noble' prophet, 'the best of mankind'.

Lols, people wey dey follow Sharia like those extremists and fanatics in the North are the real Muslims that take Islam seriously because they adhere to Sharia as commanded by Qur'an and Muhammed's Sunnah.

How else you wan take the religion seriously except by practicing Sharia as commanded by the two highest authorities in Islam, Qur'an and Sunnah?

That's the highest any Muslim can go.

As a Muslim, you're commanded to follow Qur'an and Muhammad first before applying common sense. Muslims in the North generally know this since many of them understand Arabic and can read Qur'an.

However, some fake, ignorant Muslims in the South-West wen no understand Arabic go dey dispute this clear fact that their alfas and imams in the South-West know.

If you want to know those practicing the religion just a bit close to the real Islam as practiced by Muhammad and his companions, i.e., those that take Islam seriously in modern times, check the extremists and fanatics in the North, Boko Haram, Al-Qaida, and other terrorist groups.

When you study the history of philosophy and science in Africa, you'd be shocked by the thousands of philosophers and potential scientists in this region killed by the Muslims for engaging in philosophy in their mother tongue, and not in Arabic as the Muslims wanted.

These murderers were only following the footsteps of Muhammad.

Over the past hundreds of years that Islam set foot in Africa, many philosophers on the continent — in ancient Egypt, Songhai, Maroc/present-day Morocco, Axum, and many others — were murdered by the Muslims because those Africans practiced philosophy in their native language and opposed the rule of the Arabs.

And some people here are talking about respect and tolerance for calling a spade a spade.

Today, Muslims in the North are still engaging in child marriage and killing for Allah following the footsteps of their 'noble' prophet.

If you want to preach tolerance and respect, start with the prophet of Islam and the Quran the Muslims believe in that commands them to follow the teaching of Muhammad, which many Muslims that engage in child marriage and extremism in the North and other parts of the world follow.

An adult that married a toddler is called a pedophile in modern times. Someone that killed thousands to spread his religion is known as a mass murderer in modern times.

Respect and tolerance is important
It's okay for Muslims to call my ancestors such as Esu, Ogun demons daily, but calling an adult that married a toddler and murdered thousands of innocents to spread his religion a murderer is intolerant.

Africans are a funny lot. Just open any page of the Qur'an, before you read a couple of ayahs (verses), you'd see how pagans and their deities such as Esu, Sango, Ogun, Oya, and co are called the worst of names.

And you're talking about tolerance and respect. So, tolerance and respect only apply to Arabs and their traditional beliefs (Islam), not to Africans abi.

Na that specific ideology practiced by Dan Fodio still dey a bit close to the real Islam as practiced by Muhammad, its founder. Islam is all about total domination of everything.

Why do you think all practicing Muslims in the world put Qur'an above any other book? It's forbidden for a Muslim to put any other book above the Qur'an.

Why do you think that's so? Anyway, those Africans with a working brain don abandon Islam and embrace their local gods or reject all gods or God altogether.

We aren't importing Pepsi from US so how do you expect the cost to be high for a locally produced drink? Whatever they decide to sell theirs shouldn't determine what we sell ours as long we aren't importing them.

The purchasing power of Naira is weakening because it still revolves around dollar. Your country is largely dependent on imported goods, so how do you expect to buy things easier when your currency is being devalued?

Can you buy imported goods today the same price as last year? Why is that so if not for the rise of dollar.

I hope you wont be updating us on I$E windows again since dolla doesn't influence our everyday transactions here.
Some people here go defend tire. See wetin a so-called educated person dey argue about. It's common knowledge that the prices of goods in any country that imports almost everything will revolve around the dollar.

Ao logbon, ao nimo, ao loye (we've no intelligence, no knowledge, no wisdom)

This is one of the tactics religions, especially Christianity and Islam, use to keep Africans enslaved to the whites and Arabs, dumbing down their IQ to extremely low levels.

Religious people in Africa utter this statement a lot. I was listening to a program on Radio Lagos this morning, which I tuned to on an online platform, and the OAP uttered the same statement.

Before today runs out, I'm almost certainly sure millions of African Muslims and Christians will utter the statement, "we've no intelligence, no knowledge, no wisdom" or variations of it in their native language or English.

A common derivative of the statement among Christians is that "we're sheep; while Jesus is our shepherd". A sheep is synonymous with a person that lacks intelligence, knowledge, or wisdom.

You can simply call such a person dumb.

Now, this is a deliberate tactic employed by the founders of religion. One of the secrets of nature employed here is the principle of autosuggestion in Psychology.

This is common knowledge among the educated today, but it was secret, occultic (hidden) knowledge in the past.

These founders of religions, which religious people worship ignorantly today as God, knew some mysteries of nature which the masses of humans at their time didn't know.

As regards autosuggestion, when you regularly say something to yourself, that thing takes a hold in your subconscious mind and becomes your reality.

Autosuggestive statements are a way to program or reprogram our minds, especially the subconscious mind.

Profesionals around the world, including sportsmen, coaches, and many others, use this power of autosuggestion to address one challenge or the other in their lives or careers.

When you say to yourself that "I've no intelligence, no knowledge, no wisdom", over time, such a person will demonstrate relatively lower intelligence.

Our beliefs create our realities.

Why do the founders of religion need their adherents to be dumb like sheep? They know that those with high intelligence won't take the Bible or Qur'an seriously.

Anyone with an average IQ can detect tons of loopholes and flaws in these religious texts and easily come to the conclusion that it's either God doesn't exist or is unknown.

Isaac Newton once said: "What we know is a drop, what we don't know is an ocean". This is a maxim that holds true for all living creatures on a planet and the Universe.

It applies to the lower beings like we, humans, or the higher beings, which are past humans that religious people worship ignorantly as God.

Whether higher or lower beings, all humans are tiny creatures, including your favorite sky daddy.

The scale of the human body (whether it's the past human species, the giants such as the past beings/higher beings, or the modern human species that are relatively smaller) is tiny, almost insignificant when compared with the Universe.

For any human, what's known pales in comparison with what's unknown. So, there are tons of mysteries of nature we don't know.

But that doesn't mean "we have no intelligence, no knowledge, no wisdom". This is a dangerous statement that evil founders of Abrahamic religions used to dumb down the intellectual capacity of Africans to rule over Africa and enslave the people.

For this reason, Africans typically demonstrate relatively lower levels of intelligence than their peers from other parts of the world.

It's like a 100 terabyte hard drive made to use just 10MB of its capacity. For most Africans, the ability or potential to become a thinker is there, but due to religion and archaic superstitious beliefs prevalent in the local cultures, that potential is not developed so it stays latent or hidden.

ỌMỌ: What you mold

Child is ọmọ in Yoruba.

Grandchildren is Ọmọ ọmọ.

My granddaughters (my ọmọ ọmọ) came visiting last week and they returned yesterday.

Hanging out with them for the week was the most replenishing experience I've had since they last visited two years ago.

I became a child again.

Their visit reminds me of the meaning of child, ọmọ.

Ọmọ is from the verb mọ, meaning to mold, shape, construct, design, build, form and pattern.

The idea is that Olodumare (or nature) provides us with formless clay and it is our duty to mold them to the shape that we desire.
What you mold is what you get with ọmọ.

The Yoruba have a proverb that Ọmọ tí a kò bá kọ́ ni yíò kó ilé tí a kọ́ tà: a child left without instruction will sell our life constructions.
But there are two types of bad children.

The first is the àbíìkọ́: a child without any training.
The second is àkọ́ọ̀gbà: a child who rejects all instructions.

The interesting thing about Omo (what you mold) is that they also mold and nurture the parent.

In the picture, I am playing with my granddaughters, shaping them, instructing them.

At the same time, they are shaping me, instructing me about the nature of being human, teaching me to know myself even better.

They reveal in me things I did not know about myself.
Our orí will assist us to mold good children out of the formless clay that Olodumare gives us.
