Lols, there are still many codes unknown to us in modern times that Ifa and other great minds of the past knew. With time, some geniuses will discover and develop them in the modern era as well, as things in life occur in cycles.

The Ifa Divination System, the Binary System, and Electromagnetics

Ifa was a Yoruba man that had existed in various human eras. In the modern human era of Homo Sapiens, he existed at the beginning of the era in the parts of the area called Yorubaland today, and at some point in his life, he migrated to parts of the area called Igboland today, where he's called Afa also at the beginning of the Homo Sapiens era.

First, for each of the signs in the photo, the root word is 'eji', which means two or duality in philosophy. In the Odu Ifa corpus, there are various signs talking about the duality, which is embedded in life on this planet.

A common example is 'tibi tire laye' (meaning, 'life is a mixture of both the good and the bad' ), and many other proverbs/idioms, which Ifa developed during his sojourns on Earth.

The binary number system is based on the same duality in philosophy as Mathematics, Physics, and all other disciplines emerged from philosophy. That's why many past mathematicians and physicists were also philosophers.

If Africa was not isolated geographically from Europe and Asia and slavery and colonialization didn't ravage the continent, which made Africans lose the enormous past achievements of great minds such as Tem, Ra, Olorun, Ifa, Chukwu, and many others, Africans would have built on the knowledge of these ancestors, especially Ifa, and made giant strides in computer programming, developed our own Google (which some call the Oracle, but Ifa is our native oracle or Google) and science and technology generally.

Yet, all hope is not lost. Our ancestors recorded a lot of great achievements in the past, which scientists don't even know today. For instance, Ifa mastered multi-dimensional travel, allowing him to engage in spatiotemporal engagements/communications into hidden realms or dimensions, where he got his vast knowledge from other great minds such as Olorun and Orunmila who had left the Earth during his own existence.

In simple terms, while the average person could only travel consciously in space in three directions (forward, backward, and inward/outward) and in one direction in time (only forward), Ifa, due to his genius-level mathematical ability, had the natural ability to travel in multiple directions both in space and in time.

Hence, he was deified by his contemporaries and worshipped by his descendants as a seer, deity of wisdom and divination. He had the natural ability of seeing into hidden dimensions of nature.

Scientifically, he was only exploring certain segments of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum, which many of the past beings religious people call God such as Tem, Ra, Olorun, Chukwu, Allah, Yahweh, and co. knew and used in the ancient past for various purposes.

Today, scientists know and apply only a number of the segments of the EM spectrum, but people like Ifa knew much more EM segments and had deep knowledge of electromagnetics and advanced scientific techniques. It's important that we use our knowledge and profession to promote our cultures and traditions wherever we find ourselves in the world, especially those of us in STEM fields.

Today, India landed successfully on the moon with its Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, making it only the fourth nation ever to accomplish such a feat and the first nation on this planet to land on the moon's south polar region.

One factor that helped the country achieve this laudable feat is the fact that many STEM courses are taught in the native languages in its schools.

For this same reason, India has made key contributions to science and has been rewarded with a number of Nobel prizes in science for its efforts.

What does Nigeria or Africa contribute if not religious noises, useless prayers, and irrelevant debates about fictitious characters?

Topics about fictional characters are of no relevance to Africa. Whether Jesus existed or not doesn't solve any of the myriads of problems faced by Africans.

It's a useless topic just like Jesus himself is useless.

If these topics and noises were about the local religions, it would have even better a little.

Concerning India's latest achievement in the science world, the term, "chandrayaan" is Hindi word for "moon craft". When you promote your native culture and traditions and develop STEM in your mother tongue, the benefits are enormous.

The world will respect and celebrate you, and your race can leave indelible marks on the sands of time.

Unless you can explain scientific concepts and principles as simple as possible in your mother tongue, you don't really understand them.

Late Nobel laureate physicist Richard Feynman captured this idea succinctly when he said, "If you can't explain something in simple terms, you don't understand it."

By developing STEM in the local languages and teaching science in these languages, students can understand many topics in science, connect with these concepts and principles in their immediate environment, and apply them to innovate.

Most students engaging in science in secondary schools in Nigeria and other African countries don't really understand science, even including those in universities, even including first-class and second-class-upper students.

What most do is cramming the topics to pass exams.

Hence, only very few African students can really apply what they've been taught in science classes to solve real life problems.

The ultimate aim of engaging in science is to apply principles and concepts in science to problem-solve, innovate, and invent things.

In the scientific community, no one really cares about how many equations you know offhand or the number of laws you've memorized.

What the scientific community has interest in is how you've applied, and can apply, your knowledge in making the world a better place.

This is why we should do science in the local language and this is why STEM should be taught and developed in the local languages.

Many of African ancestors were great scientists, and some of their works can be developed further by modern-day Africans.

If we do this, we can produce our own Raman (India's first Nobel laureate in Physics) during our lifetime.

There's this connection you feel to the environment, this joy you feel when you understand science practically, especially in your mother tongue.

These are the only responses worth addressing.

My posts here promote philosophy, science, critical thinking, and African cultures and history. And I mostly reference Otem because he and his folks share these interests as well.

One of the main things these people are after is for Africa to develop and join other continents in making the world a better place, and unless most Africans go back to their roots and start promoting and hyping the native cultures and traditions, one of which is Isese for Yorubas, the continent can never develop.

Why is that so? One key reason is the issue of transfer of knowledge across generations.

DeadPresidents, you're in Germany now and see all the advancements and state-of-the-art facilities there. The development in these countries is due to the combined effects of some factors, key among which is, the Germans have historically been able to transfer knowledge and achievements of their forebears across generations till the present one and have successively built and developed these achievements further, which allowed them to establish an advanced country that every Africa admires and desires today.

The same thing applies to the UK, France, Saudi, China, and many other countries making giant strides around the world. Why Africa is stagnant is due to the inability of Africans to transfer the knowledge and achievements of the past across successive generations and build on them to develop a functional society.

Our ancestors and forefathers recorded great, great achievements and feats in the past, but mostly, their works and knowledge weren't developed further and built on by their descendants due to the problems of slavery and colonialization aided by Christianity and Islam.

These problems cut off Africans from their roots, prevented the transfer of knowledge to take place across generations on the continent, which is key for any region to grow and move forward, and the continent became like a tree without roots.

Today, Africans are generally still cut off from their roots.

Ancient Egypt, established by Tem and Ra, is the origin of civilization and was built by black Africans.

What Tem and his people, who are the founders of the continent, had in mind for gifting Otem with that history book is for Africa to learn their history and what their ancestors achieved in the past eras so that this knowledge can be developed further, allowing transfer of knowledge across generations to occur on the continent.

No people develop when they can't build on the knowledge and achievements of the past people and when they're cut off from their roots.

Christianity and Islam both seek to eliminate African cultures and traditions and take their place in the minds of Africans.

These two religions are toxic to Africans because they cut off Africans from their roots, and any people not connected to their roots can never develop because of the issue of transfer of knowledge.

They'll be the slaves of this world. That's a glaring fact.

When parts of Africa were great in the past, that was when people were connected to their roots, the pagan gods.

For Africa to rise and be great again, Africans need to go back to their roots, replace religion with the use of philosophy, science, and critical thinking.

At a very small age, Africans need to be teaching their kids philosophy, programming, science, and mathematics, hard math if possible.

Not sending the kids to ilekewu (quranic school) and Bible school where they're taught toxic and harmful knowledge that seeks to destroy their culture and heritage.

Otem's book has over 1300 pages, and that's the crux of the whole book. You can't say you love Africa and be condemning such a great message.

You can see it as a version of the Periodic Table in Chemistry, but this particular one is meant to gather key data on all lifeforms on Earth.

If you study this system built by the NASA scientists, you'd come across various kinds of mimetic techniques, ranging from paleomimesis, anthropomimesis, physiomimetics, and others.

If I send this book to any of those guys in NASA, you'd be amazed at what whites will develop from it. I was discussing with a Muslim guy some months ago, and he asked for my suggestions on how to get research ideas to work on. Ideally, I'd have just gifted Otem's book to him to go and study it critically.

But if I gave him, he'd start spreading wrong information and false rumors that I authored the book. Any scientist that will go far in their career would know how to separate religion from science, if not religion will limit such a person's career.

Because he's a religious person, I just told him to check his immediate environment (offline and online) for research ideas to develop and ask ChatGPT for tips.

Some potential scientists in Africa can establish a great career in the field if they study the history of some of their ancestors in their village and seek how they can develop their works further. But various superstitious beliefs inherent in the cultures won't allow Africans to think critically and reason deeply.

This one is juju; that one is juju, spiritual, witches and wizards, demons, and all sorts of gibberish. But underlying some things or occurences they call juju or spiritual/supernatural are certain laws of nature that scientists are yet to discover and explain.

If you know where to look as a researcher using intuition and treading with caution, you can stumble on past technological ideas in your culture and develop them further to advance your career. That's why it's also important to develop STEM in the native language and culture.

It is a lot of hard work and takes passion, dedication, and determination to develop a career in science in modern times. But if one puts in the work, the rewards are worth it.

As science and technology is not new on this planet and didn't start with us, Homo Sapiens, when a researcher studies with dedication and diligence, he can be lucky to stumble upon some great ideas that some of his forebears worked on and developed, and he can build these ideas further to advance his career.

The symbols are 256 and those signs are used specifically for a reason, as developed by Ifa himself thousands of years ago.

The Homo Sapiens era is about 300,000 years old. The extinct Homo Erectus era existed for about 2 million years before that based on archeological records. This place is called a "chatroom" for fvcks sake, which literally means people get to exchange points of views. Give and take feedbacks. You can't always drop nonsense from wherever you see it and the minute someone challenges any point you make, you escape and then return with further nonsense later in the future.

Says someone that calls all cultures in Africa barbaric and savage, saying they should be all wiped out. If my posts promoting good aspects of my culture and other native cultures of Africa are nonsense to you, then you've a big problem you're yet to realize.

I can't be discussing fictitious characters like Jesus on a Monday morning at the beginning of a new week when I'm swamped with work. The topic has no real value to be given such importance.

Highly intelligent people know that if a person doesn't know the history of their ancestors, they're a like a tree without roots.

But on Nairaland forum, you'd struggle to find Africans that demonstrate high intelligence on a range of issues for a sustained period of time.
