Your head is there! Our problem is capitalizing on slip-ups. I hope some shrinks are gassing those boys up mentally. We have lost to Utd,Chelsea and City 2ce another loss to Liverpool and Wenger would really have to re-evaluate the "This team is ready to win" speech.

With Man U and Chelsea slippin up one can only look back to those games against Sunderland and especially West Ham with sheer annoyance

A 4-3-3 would fail us again tomorrow! a 4-4-1-1 with Arshavin right behind Eduardo is a smarter option with all the starters rested in the mid-week we need to go for the jugular or today's result would be meaningless to our cause

Oga ohh na so we see am oh i nor fit kill myself, first the Chiefs,Raiders and now Browns so its bye bye to the playoffs after a 6-2 start. These 5 losses just show we dont deserve to go back to the SB and Ben got zero,zilch nada protection. We'd be back next year

Did you say hate Bawo? Hehehe there must be excess barbiturates in your bloodstream

@Biina
We've just not been playing like Champions ! earlier this season we where throwing away huge leads and as time went on it only got worse. The loss to the Chiefs and Raiders where avoidable and i think for a team with the best D last season its absolute Ludacris for us to rely so much on one cat. Since the Vikings game i dont remember that D consistently forcing fumbles,INT's and incomplete passes

I still think we would be too good for the Browns a fifth straight loss would be a slap on the face of all Steeler fans across the globe. There's too much at stake on this one

In the battle of the horses you guys would lose

All ye Laker fans oya come and tell us how much Jerry Buss paid Commisioner David Stern haba its almost 20 games y'all have played and like 15 or 16 have been at the Staples

@Bawo
Ki lo n shele si awon Bulls you guys have lost like 90 games in a roll or what? Is Derrick Rose having sophomore blues or are u guys just playing loser marathon with the Bears in Chi City?

Ope ohh Josh Howard is back and since he is in free agency land he would probably ball his a.s.s. off and drop all star numbers this season! you know how niggaz get when they are looking for new contracts in any american professional sport

All star voting is on and the usual suspects are running it. Kobe leads everyone and C2H5OH's best friend is 2nd.

West Top-Dogs so far
Kobe
Nash
Melo
Nowitzki
Stoudemire

East
D.Wade
Vince Carter
C2H5OH's best buddy
K.Garnett
D.Howard

Hot on their heels are: CP3,Jason Kidd,Kevin Durant,Tracy McGrady(WTF!! this bobo neva bounce ball this season) Tim Duncan, Pau Gasol, Kaman
In the East are: Gilbert Arenas(Shaq's bestman abi na reverse?), D. Rose, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh

@Bawo
Save the narrative bro. Transition ma pitch-black ass! you traded your future in two first round draft picks and Kyle Orton for an INT throwing diabetic! you are not exactly in a position to talk greasy about other teams

As for whether Ben is an elite QB at least im no dey lead INT count and yeah i would tell u like Rondo told CP3 "You can kiss my two SB rings"

2 Super bowl titles in 4 seasons muchacho! It doesn't get any mightier than that dont hate the player hate the game padi mi. The Raiders simply completed a Pennsylvania sweep they did beat the Eagles earlier

@Biina
I'm in siddon look mode me thinks our problems are beyond just Palomalu i mean the likes of Ryan Clark, James Harrison (DPOY) and Woodley should be picking up the slack. Our passing game has also gotten static kinda and Ben has not been reading blitzes well lately. I would not even start with the RB's but frankly some of the losses have been freakish and close affairs maybe its just not our year

Dont be alarmed y'all i'm good just been out & about. School dinners and what not

@Biina
Thanks for your phantom concern and yeah four straight losses is a tough pill to swallow i just can't understand these guys i didnt expect Troy's absence to hurt that much and we seem to always be on the wrong end of FG shootouts. Ohh well i guess when you lose to the Chiefs and at home to the Raiders you have no bidness in the playoffs i guess there has been a lot of factors responsible for this mishap! we could use a bye-week now just look at the Giants
And yeah hold your laughter your team's search for perfection ends when you meet your playoff sugar daddies. . The Chargers

@Bawo
Stop Typing under the Influence the Cowboys had not won a playoff game in over a decade not even in 07 where there was hope they'd at least make the NFC Champ game
And may i ask what your good luck has brought to the Bears? Jay Cutler right? The ArchBishop Don Magic Juan of INT's. Get outta here

@Jesoul
Na so we see am. These close losses are like gut-checks last week's against the Ravens and the week before the Chiefs where hard to take. Lets see sha if the Mighty Steelers don't make the playoffs lets hope you AFC boys can keep the crown though its looking NFC bound

The Saints are legit! How i know? They are actually winning close fought games now and not just blowin out teams

Lets sincerely look at that team position for position. As i said earlier the loss is not the major issue our problem is bouncing back from defeats but today's loss shows a lot is wrong i mean we knew the repercussions of not getting anything from this game yet we lost with such ignominy. I think we kinda lack depth and when you add mental strength and the poise needed to win a league i just dont see us winning it

Which is why me and ma compadres where cursing like sailors after each fruitless foray in Chelsea's vital area i knew they would make us pay. This league is beyond us not because of the points gap but simply because today we showed we lacked the mental strength to pursue Chelsea we knew what was at stake before kickoff and for us to still go on and lose so horribly on our own ball park tells me all i need to know. I dunno if Song was injured or Arsene was simply trying to play Baba Ijebu

Let us not deceive ourselves my broda. Obasanjo is likelier to rule the US before he dies than Arsenal winning the league our injury roster only adds credence to that point! Its not like Chelsea or Utd won't slip up its more of would Arsenal take advantage? God help us if Verma or Gallas suffer long term injuries
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. In Wenger We Trust! by A40(m): 11:30pm On Nov 29, 2009
@Debosky
I honestly understand you trying to defend Eduardo but the ugly truth is he had a stinker! He was the worst player in red and white today! Two more performances like this and he would be demoted to our CC squad or self-service off to Pompey in January. He kept wasting laser passes from Cesc and his other compadres i can count three occasions in the first half where he was either too slow to the ball,outmuscled or just exhibiting poor ball control! He also did that rubbish in the 2nd half and really didnt show he is the man to lead our line he hardly forced a save out of Cech. I really hope he improves cos we are stuck with him and Vela is still too raw

Secondly i dont think we played smart in attack i.e we didnt play to our strengths and it was glaring when our wingers and fullbacks kept hoofing the ball endlessly to Chelsea's penalty area when we had no aerial presence whatsoever. The smarter option woulda been to attack centrally and test the goalie with long or medium range shots. Vela,Eduardo,Cesc,Arshavin are never going to out-jump Ivanovic.Terry or Carvalho i dont need a UEFA license to point that out
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. In Wenger We Trust! by A40(m): 10:59pm On Nov 29, 2009
Sshit mayne!! This team ain't ready for titles they are not even semi-ready! jeez i heard the players gave this week's wages to a hospital charity i'd advise they donate their wages for the next 3weeks to the season ticket holders for every annoying ass goal conceded

My fellow Gunners please dont call it a knee jerk reaction but truth is we can't win this league and it is very unlikely we win any sort of title anytime soon if we don't solve the problem of our inability to perform in clutch situations! We clearly lack the bite killer instict or ruthlessness to get it while the getting is good and i strongly believe it goes beyond the players we have i can almost swear that Arsene has forgotten how to win big games. When we score first in these games there's always a niggling doubt about our ability to keep the lead and when we concede first its usually utterly hopeless. Something has gotta change

As for the game it was plain old Arsenal just passing and running in mazes like white rats! We even had 69% to Chelsea's 31 at one point but i can only remember Cech making two saves off Nasri. And then missing half chance after half chance! As for the two goals in the first half a more composed league title winning defence has no business conceding them, still our forwardline contributed more to our defeat than our backline. And what on earth did we do to Drogba? 10goals against us already since he got to England! Our gameplan when we play Chelsea next is to cripple him that would be more effective than any other tactic Wenger can think off heck the Italians did it against Amokachi and it worked to a T! All in all this the 2nd straight game an opposing team did not have to run on top of water and walk on thin air to beat us easily. There is a problem

@duduspace
You see the patented wastefulness i was talking about? Chelsea gave us a lecture on Efficiency 101 today

I hope the rest of us that doubted we where short upfront saw proof today? Now that we know RVP is practically out till the end of April,we gotta buy

The sky is falling ain't no need to panic. Team Roc is only experiencing reverse vertical motion up the table

2nd straight week and my captain makes zero impact and doesn't even last 60mins and then regular 90min players like Shawcross and Dunn dont complete games and i miss an extra 8pts then Zamora goes M.I.A. I'd be lucky to score 30pts this week

The point is how many goals can you possibly score . . ? 2 goals max bearing in mind the best defence in the prem.

The question will now be . . Can we stop Chelsea from scoring 3 goals needed to win or scoring 2 goals needed to win?

On the flip side. . Can we stop you from scoring at all? . . . . Oh yes we can . . .
Can you then stop Chelsea from scoring if they stop you?  . . . No you can't

That's exactly what I mean the game will be won by the team that can defend better will take the day.
See as your mouth dey draw like okra soup. Someone that does not know footie would think we have not beaten you twice in the last 2 seasons you guys had better beat us or snag a draw or there would be hell to pay!! Even Chelsea players are not talking this greasy

Stackhouse got traded to the Grizz and then got his old ass waived now so i guess he is a free agent

Jason Kidd is no#2 all time in assists and he would have to play till he is 43 to overtake John Stockton for #1 which is very unlikely

As long as they are not rushing him back prematurely. Ben needs to have his reflexes at close to optimum behind the Steelers' porous O-Line and against the Ravens D, else he might suffer another concussion. I expect the Ravens to blitz heavily.

At this point i seriously would not mind a Chamakh. I still insist and have always insisted we where short upfront even before RVP's injury.

I strongly advise against 4-3-3 against the Chavs i just don't believe that formation would work against em because that midfield is where the game would be won and lost and how a 4-3-3 formation would win that midfield for us remains to be seen if there's anything the Sunderland game has taught me its the fact that Rozzy and Nasri are not forwards and therefore would most likely lack the penetrative and goal scoring ability or goal scoring threat of a forward and therefore might be counter-productive in these sort of matches
