Our failure these last seasons has been down to Wengernomics! (Tactics,player management) more than anything else. Song has really shown growth and if you put a Hargreaves,Mascherano or Mikel in Arsenal we would still win nada in other words Wenger has stretched this team past its elastic limit and has tried to fly with a car. Utd won titles without Hargreaves and Chelsea dont need Mikel to win whereas with us a healthy Song does not guarantee trophies. I think the blame should be pointed majorly at Wenger for not strengthening as at when appropriate his rigidity is what has cost us! looking at our back 4 alone taking out Verm or Gallas would affect us badly now breaking up any CB partnership would affect Chelsea or Utd but it would affect us to a larger degree

You guys are just over-elaborating ish Berba is a striker who simply has traits of an attacking midfielder its footie evolution evolve or you become extinct in this b.i.t.c.h. Ronaldo's ability to evolve and acquire striking traits is why he is WPOY and Robben and Wright Phillips are in Bayern & Kuwait Citeh respectively. I have to say even your comparison with Berba and Zizou is flawed! They play on different parts of the fields that require different skill sets. Berba was brought in not just for link up play but also for goals at least his previous records show he can score his inability to do that is why everyone is on his back i mean even a landmine amputee like Owen has managed more goals with his limited playing time. If this doesn't explain how badly Berba-slug has failed nothing will. An attacker and a striker are the same its just that modern football these days require footballers to be able to do a bit of everything

You raised a good point there but Berbaslug is not just doing enough and its obvious Fergie is playing him not cos he wants to but cos he has to. Simply put he's been a flop i mean when you buy a player for 30mil and can't start him in the UCL Final you know something is wrong. His tepid and laissez-faire approach would not get him far at Utd and then you wonder what Igbo Fergie was smoking when he paid 30mil for Berba-flop and refused to pay 25mil for Tevez

Its crunchtime now and the race for the playoffs is sizzling in the AFC. For the NFC everywhere but the East has been decided with Greenbay most likely joining the Vikings. The Giants just don't know how to beat the Eagles and it just might cost them unless the Cowboys choke as usual. The Cowboys have to beat the Eagles now so that if it ends in a two or three way tie they'll stand a chance

In the AFC is where its at as far as playoff chasing is concerned. Pats,Bengals,Colts,Chargers would most likely win their divisions. Broncos would be 5th if they don't choke but the real drama is for 6th seed where the Dolphins,Jets,Ravens,Titans and yes even the Steelers are in a rofo-rofo fight for 6th seed. I dunno why all these teams can't just make way for the Steelers its not like they are capable of making playoff noise anyway

As for the Saints i like their chances don't be deceived by Sunday's game the Redskins have improved these last few weeks plus there is time for their secondary to heal. And they seem to be able to defend now, i just don't think the Vikings can win the NFC they don't have the grit! The Cardinals you never know what you would get with them so i would not write them off. The Eagles to me do not have the tactical discipline to hold on to leads and sometimes McNabb just picks the wrong time to choke. With everyone healthy i am sure the Saints have a chance

Finally we beat a big 4 team! Yeah Liverpool is still a big 4 team at least till the end of this season

It really was a weird game though but you would be hard-pressed to find a team that would outplay the Scousers at Anfield so i am just happy we took all 3pts the last time we did that we won the league! go figure? The goal at the start of the 2nd half was the turning point and that was the difference between yesterday and Chelsea's game. The whole team just did what they had to do to win and if they had that same approach at Sunderland & West Ham we would all be singing a different hook.
