Same was said about jay when he featured on Rihanna's Umbrella.

“No clouds in my stones
Let it rain, I hydroplane in the bank
Coming down with the Dow Jones”

So the “storm” is in fact related to the economy and the financial world. “Coming down with the Dow Jones” reflects this situation. The Dow Jones is the main indicator of the health of the stock market. If it plummets, we can talk about a market crash. This reference is pretty eerie as it effectively predicts the crash of the stock markets that is taking place now, which is two years after the release of the song. We all know that, since September of this year (2008), the Dow Jones has experienced its biggest drops since the great depression. Here’s a random quote from today’s news (December 11th):

Stocks on Wall Street fell sharply on Thursday afternoon, with the Dow Jones industrials sliding 200 points, as investors weighed a lower sales outlook and a widening trade gap that could spell trouble for American businesses.

The fact that this song was made in 2006, two full years before even having signs of recession is strange. You’ll notice that the whole song has a pessimistic outlook concerning the future.  Jay-Z is saying “Let it rain”, he doesn’t care about the financial crisis,  he “hydroplanes in the bank”.  In other words, while the bank is being flooded by this storm and people are drowning in it, he’s above the water and  surviving the crisis.
First and Foremost Umbrella came out in 2007. And there where actually signs that the stock market and global financial market was going to crash!! Smart brokers saw it coming and sold their stock so lets just say he was giving us a tip. He has since said it on Kingdom Come Intro that "He's just a hustler disguised as a rapper"
If you where a financial expert that was on his toes there are chances you would have seen the meltdown coming too

arkinses:
When the clouds come we gone, we Rocafella

In other words, when the financial crisis will occur, we won’t be here to suffer through it. “Rocafella” is the name of Jay-Z’s record label. It also refers to John D. Rockefeller and his family, the biggest industrialists in American History and huge actors in the formation of the social-economic world we’re currently living in. Many historians claim the Rockerfellers have engineered the crash of 1929 to be able to obtain a stronghold on America’s banking system. Congressman Charles A. Lindberg Sr. accurately proclaimed in 1930:

“From now on depressions will be scientifically created.”
What does this have to do with Jay-Z?? We have these kind of people everywhere around the world even in Nigeria abi what has Lamido the CBN Governor been battling with since he came into office?

arkinses:
We fly higher than weather
And G5’s are better, You know me,

“We fly higher than the weather” means that Jay-Z cannot be affected by the financial crisis because he is above the problem. He enjoys a protection that makes him unvulnerable to the storm. The fact that he says “WE fly higher than the weather” implies that a select few can have the same kind of privileges he has. G5 is a kind of private jet so he will live in luxury even when the crisis strikes the rest of the world.

an anticipation, for precipitation. Stacked chips for the rainy day

Jay-Z says here that he was expecting this major crisis (the precipitation) and so he has prepared financially to face it. Seems like he had prior knowledge of the events that would occur in the future. Is he talking about the recession that is happening now?
What is the book of Revelation in the Bible about?? Is it not prophecy?? Why where there prophets in the Holy Book? What is bad about stacking chips for the rainy day? Even Joseph warned Pharoah that there would be 7 years of plenty and 7 years of hardship

arkinses:
Jay, Rain Man is back with little Ms. Sunshine
Rihanna where you at?

Jay aka “Rain Man”. He has been possessed by the Devil, contrarily to Rihanna, who he calls “little Ms. Sunshine”. Rihanna is the good girl. Jay-Z is already bad and he is asking Rihanna to join him.

These are not my notions FYI, its copy and paste stuff
This really doesn't make any sense??

And the Jeezy paying Lebron i'm paying Dwyane Wade part as well most cats i know still swear its Jesus he said

@A-40: Was listening to the song yesterday and I know he said Jesus. El Gators doesn't like the song, I think the song is hot, the beat is even hotter then Alicia Keys did well but I think ''run this town'' is more controversial. But guys, I would like us to compare this song to Kanye's Chicago featuring that Coldplay dude. Which song is hotter, though I have a soft spot for Kanye. Your thoughts please, Eldee what do you think.
I have checked a few links and it keeps showing me Jeezy but i guess you are right cos my official hip hop lyric site actually shows Jesus

hax:
Not really contradictory. More about mic skills than religion. You don't have to like someone to respect him.

He calls himself god MC, not God. They're two different things. So he can be made in God's image.
He's not God. He's not Jehovah. He's' God MC'. Jay-Hova. They're not the same. That name came from him calling himself god MC and having Jay in his name. It might be a play on a name he shouldn't play with, but what can we do? Nas is God's Son. Are we to say he's jacking Jesus' swag? lol
Rappers are generally blasphemous creatures!! Isn't there a rapper from the Wu-tang clan that calls himself U-god

hax:
lol. They say he meant 'Mason' not 'Maison', but he said the name of the fashion house immediately after, so i don't even get their argument.
Sometimes you want to leave people in their ignorance but then you want to be part of the cure and not the disease

hax:
I do agree that going to church and forgetting God after is a waste of time. But there's no one God can't save. So they do have a point if they say he blasphemed. Where there's life, there's hope. It's not over until 'she' dies. He shouldn't have said that either way.
lol
Maybe he didn't put it the way a bible believer should but since when did he ever claim to be one?

hax:
Why does everyone say that? Do they ride you like the bus route? :p
All he did was name drop throughout. The Game's rubbing off on him. lol
D.O.A and Run This Town imo were much better tracks. Run This Town would have been as popular if Rihanna could fxcking sing.
Bus route. . Bus Pass!! Its riding whichever way you look at it
He didn't name-drop on that track na haba! What would you say about "A star is Born"

Naah i beg to differ Commpadre. D.O.A was more like a mixtape song i am kinda suprised it even made BP3. Run This Town? Hell naah and to be honest Rihanna actually killed the song!! I don't know who she killed worse sef Kanye and Jay-Z on Run This Town or T.I on Live Your Life

Thanks for schooling fellas on this Maison thing!! I think you should charge a fee. . I have had countless arguments on this issue. And the Jeezy paying Lebron i'm paying Dwyane Wade part as well most cats i know still swear its Jesus he said

Funny 'cause I was just listening to that song and wondering about those lyrics too. Listening to it again  grin

As a Jigga fan, I'll like to believe that he was implying like the saying goes , "Heaven helps those who help themselves" in Empire State of Mind, whien he said the "Jesus can’t save your life starts when the church ends".

But then again, it isn't just this song. It's hard to ignore his outbursts in other songs which show his anti-Christianity.

I think he's just cocky as hell. In "Ain't I", he contradicts his whole "I'm the God" favorite phrase when he goes "No, I'm not God but I was made in his mold". Let's just say he's confused.
Inasmuch as he was wrong to say Jesus can't save you. Its not as blasphemous as these Anti-Jay-Z peeps are painting it as what he implied was what you typed above

I could name 3 rappers sef off the top of my head that are more blasphemous than people say Jay-Z is

United - 76,000

Arsenal - 60,000

Chelsea - 41,000

So

Chelsea - 0.00248 agberos

United - 0.00244 agberos

Arsenal - 0.00221 agberos

So as you can see Gunners are better behaved than Scummies and Chavs of course!! As if that was ever in doubt

Its most likely a big four club manager so:

Liverpool: Rafa Benitez is spanish and is most likely used to being around finer mamichulas

Chelsea: Carlo Ancelotti is italian and i doubt he would swap those latino calientes for asian and english hookers. Its hard to eat fillet mignon and go back to sardines

Arsenal: Wenger is not married and is too classy to go to brothels

Man Utd: The only likely option! Fergie is Scottish and all they do is chew gum, drink whisky and s.h.a.g hookers

The Saints have had the tougher schedule anyway and where bound to lose somehow, its better they lose now than lose in January where the stakes would be much higher. NFL is probably the sport where home field advantage counts the least anyway so whether the Saints play at the Superdome or anywhere else really doesn't matter

Romance › Re: Slept With 83 People by A40(m): 12:35am On Dec 24, 2009
Where was the poster of the topic's friend when Chris Rock was advising fellas never to ask a woman how many men she's been with?

ilosiwaju:
my theorem aka sir ilosiwaju's theorem of 83 or not.
Age of girl in question = 26.

Assume:
a. She clocked 18 before her first sexual encounter.
b. Averages like 4 boyfriends per year(1 boyfriend per quarter).
c. For an amazing sex stats like that, she most likely will be cheating with 2 separate guys per relationship.
d. 26 - 18= 8years. one-night stands(parties, clubbing, complete strangers at the rate of 5 occurrences per year)
e. If she is really outgoing, include 5 married men to the equation.
f. You(the new guy) is theoretically number 83. Prove us wrong that you have not entered and she is just confiding in you.
g. Misc.

Equations
1. 4 boyfriends/relationships per annum from case b + 2 illegals(cheating partners) per relationship from case c= 4 + (2 x4)= 12men per annum
2. One-night stands at 5 per annum, so 5men x 8 active years till date = 40
3. 5 married men= 5 men
4. The Poster = 1 man.

Conclusively,
from equation 1, we have 12men x 8 active = 96years plus,
from equation 2 where we have 40men plus,
from equation 3, 5men plus
from equation 4, 1 man
Total=142.

when u finish laffing or hissing, my case is this: we often hear girls say guys are bad, they are the same, when they get what they want, they leave you, blah blah blah, feeling me?

her sexual encounters could have started earlier than age 18. its a possibility. that defends case a.

for a typical naija girl who has this kind of litany for new toasters, how many guys do u honestly think have sampled her?that explains the possibility of cases b and c.

case d is xplained by considering girls that just love parties, get drunk n get popped anonymously

if na university girl especially osu and lag, dont bite me, its a hypothesis, aristo is a valid option. dats for case e

and guy, you sef don do your own. in fact i feel you had yours quite easily hence the fear of the ANIMASHAUNbility of the chic

g. i dont know, add any fitting possibility

so in conclusion of this my seemingly wacky math, the truth is that since we really dont have sure hit counters
for sex apart from memorable encounters, its difficult to know for sure but usual next-door girls have had more that 83men. we or they just dont take inventory and besides, we usually forget the insipid ones.
in retrospect, 83 may not be entirely as bad as it is considering my own arrival at a possible 142.

but sha o, mr poster, how u take know?

You don psykolomental grin grin

@Dr Kitaun
Diaby would make a good swingman i.e shooting guard or small forward in basketball, football is not his way

@Duduspace
1. The captain of a team is hardly eveq the best player. Issac Promise was our captain for the Beijing Olympics team that won silver how good is he? Na by captain?
The end part of your answer missed one little detail, Diaby is french and so is Wenger so Walcott shoulda been at a disadvantage. You think not?

2. If all our midfielders where fit at the start of the season there is no way Diaby woulda sneaked into that team

3. That game was irrelevant let it go!

Like it or not Diaby is a squad player and has always been one

You where talking about benching Theo for Merida and i am telling you that he ain't as good as Ramsey never mind Theo. Your statement about Ramsey being twice the player Theo is tells me you either hate him ridiculously or just joined Arsenal in 07/08 cos if you followed Arsenal in 06/07 he was one of the few bright spots of an utterly depressing season! He was more important to Arsenal then than Ramsey is now.
If Ramsey go on to have games of their lives where we didn't even need a point then thats their fat luck maybe Theo was looking at the big picture. You even say he can't pass but he has set up more goals than Diaby may ever do in his lifetime setting up easy tap-ins for his team-mates (Adebayor would send his Togolese posse to beat you to a pulp if he sees what u wrote). Just tell us he snatched your broad and lets move on

Abeg stop this Mirinda talk he can't shine Theo's boots and is only a year younger. Nearly no dey kill bird
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by A40(m): 6:33pm On Dec 18, 2009
@Duduspace
1. Diaby was not fast tracked because he was and is not as good as Theo

2. Theo has always been injured for at least 2-3 months each season! to make things worse his injuries are of a stop and go nature which make it hard for him to establish any sort of rhythm. I also think it is an indictment on Diaby's quality as a player that after 4years at the club he is still not a starter at Arsenal and had to resort to breaking Nasri's leg to take his place. Look at their int'l caps and if you consider that Theo is way younger and England has a stronger squad on paper then Diaby ought to be ashamed of himself

3. Diaby is not English this is not Theo's fault

4. You don't have to agree! Their individual achievements and contributions are there for all to see.

My memory is on point! Diaby's goal was going to be useless if Theo did not produce that magic move. Too bad our D lost us that game. I am talking about games against Milan,Liverpool,Villareal in the knockout phases you are talking about Fenerbache? Perfect case of "Awa n gbe cutlass e lo nyi tractor" na wa for u oh even in the group phases Theo has done more! He has out-performed Diaby and is doing better at 20 than Diaby is doing at 23 abi na 24 sef

You are over-reacting to a game that was a mere formality a game we would lose 100-0 and still win the group. This na pure satis beef! Diaby single-handedly condemned us to defeat against Utd. He, Denilson, Fabianski and the geriatric one cost us an F.A cup final last season. Walcott can't top that
Merida ko Mirinda ni! Even Aaron Ramsey thats younger and newer at Arsenal has more of a future than he does

This your honeymoon with Wilshere would soon end he is good but make una no take hype kill am! Asides Emirates Cup and a few Carling flashes he has not done much yet
