I agree but there is nothing to be ashamed about losing at Utd or City knowing fully well we where not played off the park but basically failed to concentrate you can add the West Ham game which is the most annoying draw you would ever see the Chelsea game was a lack of killer instinct thing that loss was more mental than physical, all in all it was better than last season where we lost to every Tom,Dick and Ifeanyi. We have played two less home games than our rivals and only Chelsea have a better home record lets keep winning at home and good things will happen if we maintain our poise we could be within touching distance by January if not better! If Wenger does whats right and buys we would be able to take advantage of Chelsea's possible slip up

Hola ma Chav Compadres. Please how serious is your Olugbaala's (Didier Drogba) injury would he be able to make the West Ham game?

@Dayokanu
Eduardo was on the come up lol although i admit its a ridiculous excuse

@TKB
We just played Stoke and Liverpool without. RVP,Eduardo and Bendtner they may not be as good as your strikers but they are our 3 most senior strikers so my theory holds

@Eastbay
You don't need Haitian voodoo or headless chickens to know that the double would not have been possible without a fit and firing Ronaldo that season same way Barca would not have won it all about Messi and the Lakers would not have won the NBA Championships without Kobe! Football is a team sport but some individuals make the job easier. Now talking about blaming certain players absences for losing out of trophies lets not be Pharisees here some of your fans till this day swear on their lives that Fletcher's absence in Rome was why y'all lost that night! True or false? Dayokanu take note

@Codedguy
Burnley is not a cake walk they did beat y'all and yeah Cesc's injury ain't serious he'd be back for Villa. And at least my coach does not blame the refs after every home loss or draw. Fergie's behavior this season has been pathetic and disgraceful

3 - Kongba! This is better than the draw wey una don dey draw up and down this na why i love basketball either you win or you lose

If you guys don't beat Portsmouth then maybe y'all don't even deserve to be in Europe. There's no room for error y'all need to ante up
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: UEFA CL Second Round Draws OUT!!!!! by A40(m): 5:12pm On Dec 17, 2009
I have a sneaky feeling Chelsea would be drawn with Inter. These UCL people love drama

As a Gunner all i want for Christmas is VFB Stuttgart it would be fun to use Jens Lehmann for target practice and watch him concede a few cheap goals too. I would also love to see Hleb vs Clichy

Despite not doing too much transfer biz over the summer and with the injuries and all we are still chasing and we have actually played just 7 home games and 9 away ones. This time last season we where all but out of contention however its next year i'm worried about i don't understand what a Steven Taylor is doing in the championship and Silvestre is still at Arsenal anyways January is a chance to write this wrong by bringing a better backup for Vermaelen & Gallas. I think i have complained about the attack enough lets see how it goes
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by A40(m): 1:22pm On Dec 17, 2009
Man U and their fans that lost at Burnley are asking us how market? Nnkan nbe! you guys had better pray Fulham does not do an Encore on Saturday at least they are likelier to do that than Hull upsetting us

At all at all na im bad pass those Burnley cats are a buncha redneck road-dogs at home sheesh they where on our asses like homosexuals. The West Ham game felt like a loss but this felt like a win! We dont need to dwell too much on the result but just handle ours against Hull cos i have a funky feeling that either or both of the Chavs & Scummies would drop points

Since Fab is having injury worries how about him being rested for Hull? We cant afford to have his tank running on E by the back-end of the season. I dont see why Nasri cannot play his role with maybe a Diaby & Song i might be wrong but was that not his spot at Marseille

Since Wenger was not bright enough to get Shay Given we have to play the cards we are dealt and Almunia is still our best option

I wonder whats wrong with Eduardo why is that nigga playing like an old broad he should grow some cojones or go back to Croatia. Doesn't he realize he needs to assume some goal scoring responsibility

I am also of the opinion that peeps need to give Theo Walcott a break this guy has played less than 5hours of football and is not even 21 yet! Everyone cannot be a Ronaldo De Lima,Del P,Raul,Messi,Pato or Rooney. Theo Danger would come good he is young and still has a lot to learn plus he plays in a position where the typical English player lacks the skill to play

@Eastbay
Van Persie is good enough to feature for the Dutch National Team i think he's alright
Aside Evra and A.Cole i don't think any 3 is as good as Clichy in the league so he's good too

We are not disputing the fact that y'all have depth (Na Wenger i blame sha) and cope better with injuries what we are saying is you guys have not had to deal with lengthy injuries to your key players all at the sametime. Unless you or your fellow Red devils want to tell us you would still have done the double in 08 if Ronaldo's season was truncated by injuries

E.g If you remove Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones from Sunderland they would prolly relegate but that does not mean they would start in any big team but their present teams would simply not cope without em
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by A40(m): 5:34pm On Dec 16, 2009
@Dayo
Its too early to be sippin that Sizzerv you guys drink in H-Town if you patiently read my post you would realize i was not making any excuse for our lack of depth but highlighting ish and putting it in perspective

Before you go on ranting about Eduardo remember RVP was also injured practically all through that season we have a smaller squad which is Wenger's fault but take it easy with the exaggerations because Utd would not have won the double in 08 with an injury plagued Ronaldo. Also at no point where all of Ronaldo,Rooney,Tevez and Berbatov injured these past two seasons. Scream all you want but even Utd would struggle and may miss out on trophies if all 4 players where injured at the same time for any length of period! that was the point i made in simple anglais
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by A40(m): 4:45pm On Dec 16, 2009
@Codedguy
Una don start again? How do u mean "end of the world" We have two winnable games in hand against Burnley and Bolton if we win that we are level on pts. We would be fine so long as we strenghten January so easy with the hyperbole
If we where even to compare injuries against the size of our squads you would realize we've dealt with more injuries than y'all its just the nature of personnel missing that differs. This ain't an excuse just a statement of fact cos i am pretty sure you would struggle if you had Rooney,Berbatov and Owen all out at the sametime

@Aldon
If it would take him 3 years to come out with a song bigger than Samboribobo then he should switch to a 9-5 job, rap is not by force

I hope Gallas's injury is not serious jeez we keep talking about needing a striker come January methinks a center-half is also as important even Everton have Jagielka,Yobo,Distin and Lucas Neill and if Senderos is leaving then we have to buy as a long term injury to Verma or Gallas would bring any title aspiration of ours to its knees

@Slimshay
Overskill must always kill ninja, there is a difference between holding the ball and trying to dribble everyone at the stadium. The most annoying part is he tries to dribble with his back to goal and gives away the ball more often than not. He is not as skillful as he thinks he is. Ibra holds on to the ball, Hleb holds the ball, Kanu holds the ball. . Diaby tries to over-dribble with it
Sports › Re: NBA Season 2010/11 by A40(m): 1:23pm On Dec 16, 2009
Bawo are you guys still playing loser marathon with the Bears? 42pts! Kobe really torched y'all

When you where trading B.G for a free.99 you didn't know you would need a scorer all the same una try sha 4 guys where on double digits, Kobe was just in the mood to entertain us last night
One more thing u need to stop getting high on your own supply of Dro. D.Wade is not coming to play for y'all
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by A40(m): 12:36pm On Dec 16, 2009
Diaby apostles una don start again ooh. The moment he realizes he doesn't always have to hold the ball for an eternity the better he would become he showed that for a split sec on Sunday

So any idea what the team would like? Is Eduardo the amputee playing? Cos if he wont score against the big boys then scoring against the likes of Burnley is non-negotiatable

What is wrong with Gallas & Cesc and are Arshavin and Traore playing? Omo no time oh Burnley must be broken off real bad

Ma sole nominee and winner would go to Biina he is an all-rounder when it comes to sports and is quite an enlightened cat. So on the basis of his versatility and informed opinion on other sports besides EPL and footie i'd pick him

Lol Schweppes see me see trouble oh why could the hedgehog not do a Defoe? Now i'm sitting hoping Drogba has a quiet game against Pompey! i would most likely trade the Babylonian and if he as much as provides an assist at Fulham hmmm what happened to him in 2006 at Stamford Bridge would repeat itself but this time it would happen at Ojoro Trafford
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans Thread : Winners of the FA Cup And League Winners 09/10 by A40(m): 1:31am On Dec 16, 2009
Chelsea can rave about Ancelloti's diamond formation all they want but Drogba's excellent form is why Chelsea have started so well right now though your problem or potential problem is the over-reliance on Drogba i don't remember a game where Drogba played poorly and the rest of your attack minded players picked up the slack. Big games here oh i am not talking of Wolves or Pathetico Madrid where he was absent sef. He is to y'all what Lebron James is to the Cleveland Cavaliers he has about 17goals or so and at least 5 assists overall so if you think you would cope without buying think again as a matter of fact here is an assignment for you: Show me another Chelsea player that has scored even 9 goals in all competitions this season. Don't worry i'll wait

@Jalether
9 clean sheets in 16 EPL games so if you think your defence is the problem think again

Good grief! boy if i had my way this Babylonian would be swimming in the Ganges

39pts and ma skipper has played already damn and i thought this was the week i get to steal a march on those ahead of me

@Eastbay
Nice point about RVN what worked for y'all so well the last three seasons was the unpredictability of your attack. There was always movement and basically opposing defenders where chasing ghosts all day this has stopped since Berba-slug's arrival and if you where to count Utd's top 5 performers last season Berbatov would not sniff that list meaning even without him y'all woulda still won the league. Fergie's hands are kinda tied so he has to play Berba to shape, i daresay if he had come in cheaper he woulda been languishing on the bench

@Follypimpi
This is why we have not won anything for 4 seasons. Denilson is clearly too lightweight to play DM. Our weaknesses are damn too obvious and season after season it keeps playing like a track on loop. Last season it took the scare of missing out on UCL footie for him to splurge on Arshavin. He has been more reactive than pro-active and as a DBA we are taught that thats the recipe for disaster

I would not advise Aguero he is good but over-rated besides he is Argentinean and those cats are highly sentimental. If his wife did not shag him well the previous night it would affect his game on matchday.

As for Di Santo we know McCarthy is washed up. Jason Roberts stays injured and hardly starts. Kalinic? I never heard of him. These lower rung teams would play anything with a pulse from any member of the big 4 Mancienne is a perfect example

Di Santo ain't it bruv he is a younger Dave Kitson hehehe
