Toure and Gallas! lets be honest with ourselves here their partnership is not dominant enough you can't have two center-halves who are poor in the air especially defensively but i wouldn't totally blame them our midfield has not really helped matters i think its time the likes of Denilson and Song define their roles in that midfield or Arsene goes out and gets someone to partner Cesc come January i have always said that our attack-line is one of the best in the league we are spoilt for choice in front but what we lack is a DM and with Walcott's injury we could also use a winger

Well you might disagree on that but Arsene would only prove you right by giving the boy a run of games even though i agree he is injury-prone sometimes we need a defender with aerial presence and we lack that in Gallas and Toure and sometimes these opposing sides just find it too easy as our weaknesses are exposed and obvious to the world
I still don't know why Silvestre was drafted from Utd that guy has not impressed much i don't know why Arsene seems to be giving him so many games but anyway we have no choice but to back them and hope Toure gets fit and back to his best soon because offense wins you games but defense wins you championships our last season's capitulation in big games is still very fresh in my memory

You do have a point there on Gallas and Toure they are damn too similar they are quick and all but they are very poor in the air and a lot of teams have discovered that i don't know whats wrong with Toure but this his loss of form is worrying he has always been our most consistent performer till the Zaki mishap i think what he needs is time to get his shyte together i like Djourou too but i don't think Arsene has shown enough faith in the lad he was used sparingly when he came back from his loan last season even when he has proven times without number that he is less of a calamity than Senderos as for Silvestre he has not done too poorly but its obvious he is not the Center back to have if you are serious and intend to win titles
My opinion is he should give Djourou and Gallas a run of games and lets see some stability in the heart of defense,Silvestre should warm the bench for now

I think the Chelsea game proves that Djourou has spirit i don't like this mixing and matching at Central defense to be honest its not doing our back-line any good we have conceded a whopping 19 goals and this is the primary reason why!!
