What is good for the gander is good for the geese what a man can do a woman can do better abi no be so?If women can run for president,head organizations and all that then proposing marriage to a man would be a cakewalk i am hoping if not in my time then in my children's generation that women would actually buy men rings and pop the question  grin grin

JosBoy4Lif:
Your right the addition of guys like Gasol and the step up of Ariza and Bynum are great additions. Imagine All-Star
ScrODOM coming of the bench  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
But none of these guys are champs, really they are not champion calabre players.
Can they go up against the likes of Pierce, Allen and Garnett. Powe will body baby Shaq Bynum anyday  grin grin
This time last year nobody in the Celtics roster where champs save for James Posey i think Bynum would have made a big difference in that Finals the Lakers had no one in the paint
A-40, i still rate d fulll magic team high enough to cause an upset
by the way, i tot u would hav slept off after d burnley disaster  grin grin grin
Naah homie the Magic are too light-weight they would run for cover if they saw Detroit the Cavs would have beaten the Celtics last year if they had home-court advantage
Your losses would come thick and fast just relax

The Celts and the Lakers have just been a class apart the only team i see with a remote chance of stopping the Celts in the East are the Cavs and with that being said they need to finish probably as 2nd seed in the East.Orlando is a good ball team but too light-weight

JosBoy4Lif:
I am going to job on the bandwagon while there are still seats available.
Boston for the 2-peat grin grin grin.

I don't think Kobe will be able to stop them Alone.
But am tippin' for LA to win the WEST
Ohh they have Bynum now i won't jump with the Celtics just yet even though they are looking majestic

Lol what do we have here? a moderator cool with dissing? Christmas has come three weeks early  cheesy cheesy

Blackburn are not an exactly daunting prospect your man Incey has been very disappointing since taking over!! Ewood Park has lost its toughness i would be suprised if y'all don't win

dayokanu:
RVNistelrooy, Drenthe, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Robben and now Huntelaar. How many Spainards are in the team self?
We had Barca-Ajax some years back i guess its time for Dutch Madrid they had to buy a striker and it was a mouth-watering option as Huntelaar is not cup-tied and can play in the UCL an attack with Saviola and Raul is not exactly a deadly one at the moment
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by A40(op): 12:38am On Dec 03, 2008
Wow what more can we say another year of disappointment i guess we bought into the hype once again and when it was crunch time the boys fell flat on their faces i would not go cynical and any of that but honestly some of these players have no future at Arsenal,Bendtner and Randall especially we where just too wasteful in front of goal with at least 4 one on one chances i would suggest we play our first set set of CC games away next season so we could know these boys abilities early and not get our hopes up for nothing.Its all to the good lets move on and handle business against Wigan

@dayokanu
Maradona dragged Argentina to a world cup title,he dragged a shyte Napoli team to the Scudetto! Messi has gone two straight seasons without winning squat for a star studded team lets be real Maradona's one leg was better than both feet of most players same cannot be said for Messi at least for now

As for free-kicks dude be real how many players have scored two free-kicks in one match against those type of opposition even Zidane didn't do it nor did Ronaldo the maximum Zizou did was one against Spain and England in Euros 2000 and 2004

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by A40(m): 8:04pm On Dec 02, 2008
@dayokanu
Well the stakes are higher these days the more titles you win the stronger your argument for world player of the year.Ronaldo won the world cup and he is the highest goal scorer in world cup history i don't see why Messi's case should even remotely be compared to the Phenomenon! when Messi leads Argentina to win the World Cup he could be the sixth pillar

Messi is one-legged and that i can't stand as a player i kick footie too and i am one-legged and its very annoying if you want to mark out Messi just take him to his right foot and you would see how powerless he becomes,forget the hat-trick in the El Classico they still drew that game and Madrid still won the league that year so what was the use?

Ronaldo scored two freekicks in one game and get it i am not a Ronaldo fan i just don't think anyone did sufficiently better to upstage him last season
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by A40(op): 7:57pm On Dec 02, 2008
I am hoping we can beat Burnley today and advance to CC semi's i think once we get to that point Arsene really needs to think about how he can just win this competition once and for all he needs to get this monkey of his back youth policy or not smiley
