We are already seeing on Twitter results in the coalition centers being different from what some media are reporting.
We all witnessed the intimidation of voters and destruction of ballot papers yesterday.

In many places in the east, INEC officers deliberately arrived extremely late, in some polling units voting didn't commence till 4 pm and many people who left their houses since morning were deeply frustrated. All these to depress turnout. It's very unfortunate.

People just choose dishonesty when it comes to these topics so I don't bother arguing too much. The good thing is na all Nigerians go suffer regardless of who you vote if the wrong person enter.

In almost every country in Africa, the British/French just bundled a bunch of ethnic groups that often historically had minimal interactions, called them a country, and then fvcked off into the sunset and left them to figure things out.

There have been several revolutions in Africa, always bloody , and almost always unsuccessful, mostly due to inter-ethnic rivalry.
Since independence, Nigeria alone has had a civil war, 6 successful coups, at least 2 coup attempts, and 4 republics.

Every HOS Nigeria has ever had recognises two things
1. They can only be popular within their region/ethnic group/religion
2. They dont have a lot of time in power - Since 1st republic in 1963, we've changed head of state 15 times - that's a change in leadership every 4 years, and we've only gotten worse.

So there's literally no incentive for them to develop or work towards any kind of long-term vision. It's literally dip in and dip out. So you might as well enrich yourself whilst you're there. And that's even for the ones that make it.

So the best thing these politicians can do, since they cannot fix the country for everyone, is to forestall more ethnic unrest by at least rotating the opportunity to steal - through zoning.

The ethnic rivalry is so bad now, that the chances of a youthful and qualified technocrat making it to FG are so low, they might as well be a lottery. Imagine a hot smart 40 year old Yoruba politician emerges after a Tinubu presidency for example. SW has had their 8 years, so he has to wait for rotation through 5 geo-political zones, before his turn go reach. Assuming each zone does their 8 years, by the time it's the SW turn again, our hero will be 88 years old. His time never came, and maybe we missed out on the greatest leader known to man.

This is why calling for revolution is pointless. Dangerous even. The only HOPE for Nigeria, and it's a slim one, is disintegration. Otherwise we will keep shuffling slowly but surely into the abyss.

They split into 7 places. I don't see why Nigeria cannot follow suit we can splinter more than that sef as that country can never be one and it's time we stop deceiving ourselves about it. It doesn't have to be a violent revolution. A 10-15 year referendum where each region can gradually find their square root is the best option.
