Good to see Meyers Leonard getting another shot. I feared he was done in the league thanks to rubbish cancel culture but it looks like he's gotten another shot.
But man this Bucks team is huge!! They're a f Throwback to the 90s. Even their guards are big.
Giannis, Leonard, Lopez, Portis. That's 4 guys 6'10 or bigger. Any night your shots are not falling good luck getting rebounds |

Anybody who knows Lagos Island well enough knows there’s no way any Igbo, Hausa , Tiv, Birom, Efik etc people could’ve burnt those aforementioned place. The whole carnage happened on a day when businesses did not open due to the curfew that was imposed by the state government a day before . There are pictures and videos of some of those boys online ( I used to have the videos of the boys sacking the Oba compound , swimming in his pool and carting away his dollars stash ) n
One has to be mischievous to think those boys are Igbo’s who only go to the island to trade in Balogun and the spare parts market around igbosere area that did all that when they couldn’t even leave their respective houses due to the curfew Lol na Yoruba hoodlums do that work. I took my time did a personal research away from the campaign of calumny against his person by opposition parties, checked and verified his records like he's always advised and I confirmed the man is actually different from the looters in powers we have parading themselves as political bigwigs in the elections.
I'm impressed he's been consistent steadily about who he is and what he wants for the people. Obi's problem is he doesn't blow his trumpet enough. If you read that man's bio and accomplishments you would be wowed He's a businessman not a career politician. Think about it. How many SE governors have left office and didn't bother going for Senator any other post? Showed no interest in picking a successor or meddling in state politics. He's the type of guy Nigerians need at center. It seems though that a lot of people are happy with how dysfunctional Nigeria is and are fighting day and night for things to remain that way. |

So because of Obi, Atiku went from winning 7 state to winning 0 state. Minus 7 states!
While Tinubu lost only 4 possible states.
According to your own theory.
Thanks for proving my point. 🙏 4 states he had never won before is not a feat?? I'm not proving your point I'm showing you that Atiku potentially losing all 11 states suggest he is not a serious candidate like you give him credit for. Obi's candidacy is not sufficient excuse for Atiku to lose all 11 states. How is that hard to understand? Atiku's problem is he is not a dominant Northerner. If he dominated his region he wouldn't have this problem. In neutral states like Lagos and FCT he is also struggling. If Atiku loses it will not be because Obi helped Tinubu it would be because Atiku himself is not a popular enough candidate |

You know politics is a game of numbers. There is numbers then there is equity. If we are in a multicultural democracy and only one set of people are always in power then who are we fooling? I asked simple question sha. From what you know about Kaduna. Do you believe a Christian Christian candidate can successfully lead the state. Say a Christian governor is elected with a muslim deputy and he leaves for whatever reason. Do you believe a Christian governor in Kaduna can appoint a Christian deputy? |

afrodoc2: You are the one with answers. You tell me the SE state that Tinubu of the APC party that just finished wrecking Nigeria over 8 years would have won. The same Tinubu that was instrumental in getting Buhari into office and watched as Buhari destroyed the country.
The alleged Tribalist Tinubu with a Muslim VP against liberal Atiku with a Christian Igbo VP.
Which SE states would that same Tinubu have won in a straight contest with Atiku. You're asking question. I gave you 4 states in the SS/SE APC could have won or easily garnered the 25% required. And I didn't even include places like Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers where Tinubu can easily get 25% Guy. I'm telling you that the average SS/SE does not see any real difference between Atiku and Tinubu. With both their names on the ballot it's not sure for Atiku that he wins all 11 states. Don't ask me which states cos I answered in my previous post. If you insist on not seeing it nothing I can do about that. Is it not telling that SS/SE voters would rather vote an Obi with an unlikely chance of winning than an Atiku that supposedly presented a more realistic chance of winning? Like I said your argument would have been solid if Atiku won some states in the SS/SE. But in the event of Obi winning all 11 states. Saying Obi helped Tinubu instead of admitting Atiku has been overrated doesn't make much sense. You're not a spoiler if you win more states than the person you supposedly spoiled elections for |

Since El Rufai is from the North side, his deputy must be from the South side. He picked a woman from the South side but the woman is a Muslim. He said he picked her because of competency and performance based not because she is a Muslim. Are you a Southern Kaduna man? Cos if you are not I have to take your opinion with a pinch of salt. Do you think Kaduna can have Christian Christian in Government house? You want to tell me with a straight face that state will not boil? Another question. Whose votes did Obi cut into more, was it Atiku’s votes or Tinubu votes?
One thing about electoral maths is that it doesn’t care about your feelings. 😁 You're telling me Tinubu can't win Imo? Ebonyi? Edo, Cross Rivers with Ayade? Voter apathy, cutting a few deals and cooking a few books is all it would have taken. Think about it. Atiku's deputy now is a sitting governor in Delta state and still Delta is not sure for Atiku. This should show you that irrespective of party Deltans no send him papa. After all two sitting senators are APC. |

now PDP will effectively be a northern party, LP will be an SS/SE party [ironic] and APC - well that remians to be seen. i honestly want sure the party would survive buhari's fking around I think people underrate the decision to throw PDP open at the primaries. afrodoc2: You are conflating electoral mathematics with the substance and quality of the candidate.
Which states would Tinubu have won in the SE in a straight contest between Atiku and Tinubu. Let’s start from there. That's neither here nor there. If Atiku can lose all 11 SS states. Am I supposed to assume states like Cross Rivers, Imo, Rivers, Bayelsa even Edo couldn't have been stolen by APC? If Atiku goes 0-11 H2H vs Obi in that entire region while Atiku cannot hold his weight up North then the help argument is immaterial. Ok say Obi finishes with more votes than Atiku you will still say Obi helped Tinubu? Or that Atiku was simply not popular enough to win on his own merits |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A40(m): 10:53am On Feb 26, 2023 |
afrodoc2: That is a different argument. What I was addressing is your claim that Obi did not help Tinubu.
Without Obi you and I know that Atiku defeats Tinubu in the SE in a landslide and also wins the SS.
To simplify. Obi took 11 states away from Atiku in the SS and SE.
Even most of Obi’s NC votes are Northern Christian votes that would have gone majorly to Atiku.
Kwankwaso completed the hatchet job by stripping Atiku of his NW PDP votes.
What must have surprised him (like it did many of us) was the strength of the Obi movement. Immediately Obi became a major factor Atiku’s hopes were doomed. Naah I don't agree Atiku wins by landslide in SS/SE. Are you forgetting 3 of the states in that region are under APC? You say Obi took away 11 states from Atiku. I say who says the 11 states are for Atiku? Hustle your votes is the name of the game. Atiku picked a governor from Delta and even the same Delta is not guaranteed to vote Atiku. That says it all. Now let's come to the North. Atiku's numbers are far from impressive. Most of the Northern voters voting Obi would have sat out the elections. Same with the South. Kwankwaso network no pass Kano and Jigawa that means 17 Northern states to fight for. Benue and Plateau are potentially leaning towards Obi. That is making 15 states up for grabs Again everyone is expecting people to step aside for Atiku instead of him to compete on his own rights. So your argument might be right in principle but how can we argue Obi helped Tinubu when we should be asking if Atiku is actually good enough to help himself? |

Guess what, the man in charge of security in Kaduna State is being hated by southern Kaduna people. His own people. Ortom is not hated or radioactive. A lot of Nigerian governors no dey pay salary. That one is not news. Go and ask Osun state civil servants what their eyes are seeing or what their eyes saw for Oyetola hand. Ortom will win his district with minimal fuss. Benue people respect him for the courage he handled the Fulani Herdsmen crisis with The same El Rufai that imposed Muslim Muslim candidate on a cosmopolitan city and state like Kaduna?
