I was really impressed by Peter Obi when he was interviewed by AriseTv yesterday at his polling unit. He was asked if he would take any position in government if he doesn't end up being the president and he said he won't. He's contended with what he has already, he only wants to be president to serve the people and change things from the way they are in the country.

Like he's contented with going back to his business than serve under a government that will maintain the status quo. He's been consistent with his stand that he just wants to serve the people. Politics is not do or die.

Those that want to celebrate electoral violence and voters intimidation all in the name of "I told you so" should continue

As for Ortom I know he was not a good governor at all his support for Obi notwithstanding, the issue is Benue people really despise Atiku. Which is why I was confused by his being adamant on contesting. His gravitas is pretty weak for someone from that part of the country.

Obi will likely get more votes than Atiku while APC will get more votes than initially anticipated just because of Atiku's unpopularity amongst Benue people.

The point really is if a veteran and serial contester like Atiku cannot mop up the North then the question is what is he contesting for? Tinubu has no business being competitive in states like Benue, Niger, Adamawa if you're that guy.

Considering he was the one that campaigned with the whole Northern rhetoric then he should be winning 12 to 15 states in the North minimum

People say Obi has helped Tinubu but I beg to differ. I'd argue Atiku is the one helping Tinubu. For those that see Obi's votes as votes that could have gone to Atiku, they are sadly mistaken.

In Lagos and FCT for example you think people would have come out to vote if Tinubu and Atiku were on the ballot? Those Obi voters would have stayed in their respective houses
