nihilistjnr: Obviously shoe get size, so these What Ifs are moot. We've seen Jayz both deliver and recieve slaps in full glare of cameras before. Even the Pdiddy that was trying to calm the situation after is well known for whozing Drake in public and shooting up clubs when offended. A lot of the time, the lack of violence from these kind of situations is due to lack of opportunity, not someone choosing to ignore the disrespect an/or not take offence
Your message should be that we should be more mindful of how we react, not that we shouldn't be taking offence at all because of some mythical comedy standards.
Comedians fit collect too Naah. Where was this energy with the Transwoman that was trolling him the other day? Chris Rock was a soft target. That's all. Remove Chris Rock put the Rock or Brock Lesnar e sure me Will Smith will not be so quick to violence so make we bone this yarns. It's easy to choose Violencia when you know who you wan attack no get capacity to retaliate or you can get away with no real consequences That's not courage and that's not a flex |

DeeMain: Fear God small na. Lebron and Lakers were balling and 23 points ahead in the first quarter till Lebron injured his ankle and started hobbling and everything went south from there. What's statpadding about that?
You are one of the more knowledgeable bball folks here yet sometimes the things you utter here make me speechless. Na wah o. Went South how? You don dey cap again. Weren't they up 20 by halftime. When the injury occurred no be early in the game when they were up 36-29. He was knocking down 3's and their lead ballooned. Now that they lost you're bringing out the injury excuse from your back pocket. Where I'm from once you stay on that court you're healthy |

Roland17: This has become the rhetoric with Few and the Zags. He has to change his recruitment and training strategy because if they struggle in March when it’s win or go home. They score a lot of perimeter points but on defense they get punished inside the paint. That boy too underweight. He better grab some food else he's not gonna survive |

He has history of of back pain and Nash said he got an epidural last week and he is feeling better. It's all about ramping up now and all reports indicates optimism about him appearing for Nets in the final 2 games or atmost during play offs We shall see but to be frank with you I am not holding my breath. 6 weeks since the trade. 10 months with no action. And he's supposed to just be ready like that |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:03pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
Roland17: Ime is proving he can be trusted with higher expectations and investments with this team. One thing I did not want “Wyc” to do and I am glad he did not, was to bail Ime with big trades after he first arrived and the results were poor. Ime has stamped his identity on the team, rebuilt the culture of our defense and now our offense is jelling with the 1-2 punch of the Jays. 2 players the main stream media were convinced can not play together but Ime stuck with them and rebuffed trades for JB and now it is paying huge dividends. Outside of the Nets/Bucks, I don’t really fear any other team in the East if we arrive the playoffs healthy. The Heat will be tough but I think we have finally figured how to score against Spoelstra’s zone defense. He did a fantastic job since the turn of the year. No panicking and nobody getting in their feelings. Never quite understood the JB and Tatum can't play together tripe. These are two elite wings most teams would kill for and still young. This whole ring hopping and ring pursuing culture really messed up the game. In a way they have been victims of their own success The key thing is that defense maintaining the consistency. A sneaky addition like Derrick White could also be a difference maker, guarding guys like Kyrie, Harden. Milwaukee are still favorites for me cos they are just so big. They are still clowning around but if they get serious I still don't know who beats them in the East |

Roland17: Anyone with thoughts about the J. Butler incident?
Spo is usually measured and in that incident he was out of character which leads me to believe he has tried his best in managing Butler's excesses. Udonis is the OG on that roster that keeps everybody in line, Butler is a renegade who doesn't feel accountable to anyone. Butler has a history of being disruptive (Bulls/ TWolves/ Sixers) and it was only a matter of time before this happened.
The Heat have a strong mentality when it comes to their culture. I think they sit down together and hash this one out, especially as the post season closes in, things like this are not new in professional sports. Butler is an integral piece of the domino but he is not indispensable to Miami and that is why I feel this might be his last season in Miami if this is not properly addressed because while it is nothing, it is something. Butler really looking like a fake tough guy these days. He's not that tier of player, Been looking at him a type of way since that Jokic incident where he was clapping like Shaniqua |

birdman: Lol, you need to ignore the stat pad accusers. They are pained to see Lebron still this strong, and they are looking for people to engage in endless arguments with. Leave them, let them argue with results.
Btw, steady986 was mocking those accusers, not raising an accusation himself. Just in case you didnt know Lol what is wrong with stat padding. I don't know why Bronsexuals dey so defensive like this. The man is taking 8 3's per game, playing no defense, assisting less. Even sitting out games to help the scoring average look glossier. We are not even throwing shade. Na wetin dey actually happen and it's perfectly ok. |

Roland17: Guess how many 50+ point scorers we have thus far in the month of March? Consider today is only the 18th day!
Where the hell is the defense in this league/ era? Can defense really be played? It's more hoping your opponent has a bad shooting night. Everybody is pulling up from 28ft. If a team makes 5 in a row or 7 out of 10 and the other team starts cold. They are down 15, guess what they also have to spam more 3s to get back in the game. Play less defense cause you need your legs under you and upper body torque to launch. Defense flies out the window |

Danielnino00: I was thinking, what if they introduce a rule to put a limit to the number of three pointers a team can make in a game? Say not more than 15 threes attempt in regular minute and 3 in OT? Would that make sense? Cus it appears a lot of folks believe that the advant of the 3-pointer has made basketball boring... Well to some nerds this style of basketball is the best and most skilled in history. I don't think they are going to alter these rules anytime soon. However we have seen that basketball is really a game of trends and once the 3point spamming stops winning (which we are starting to see somewhat come playoff time) teams would start making some changes. I'm not upset about it. It just irritates me when people go on about how the current league is so much better when we can clearly see that teams are simply shooting more 3s than have ever been shot |

donlittle25: I think the main reason why he started statspadding is this:
A lot of MJ haters like IT have started saying once he becomes the highest scorer in the league over Kareem he has a clear case at the Goat. Everyone knows the Rings argument have sailed so now it's this.
He should Sha not get injured and end his career quickly I actually respect IT's dedication to the Jordan hate, this man has been hating Jordan longer than I've been alive and who can blame him? Jordan denied him a repeat, denied him an Olympic gold Anyone that understands basic math shouldn't even be using highest scorer in the league as an argument. The people that had Lebron as their goat already did so before the Disney ring anyway. Same way we on the Jordan side do not believe there is anything he can do to pass Jordan it is what it is |

Roland17: Baba, at this point, everybody go chop blame. Have you watched Ajala over the last 2 months? The height of indifference and selfishness in his stat padding pursuit. His playing style reminds me of Westbrook, when every play was geared towards getting a number for his stat. Ajala may not even realize his new dream of playing with his son (that is, if that one is even drafted) if he keeps playing these heavy minutes because of his knee has gotten worse. Man's no dey hide the statpaddin again. They play no defense that's why no matter how poor the team they face is 120 points is sure. I doubt Lakers have held any team to less than 115 points this year 11 games under .500, even a 40 year old Jordan 3 years away from basketball still managed 37 wins. Can anyone see the Lakers getting 35 wins? |

Roland17: No naaaa. The GOAT has been throwing to nobodies, so nothing new. Don't forget, the GOAT made Adams the number 1 receiver in the league Aaron Fraudgers had the chance to prove this theory right when Davante got doubled vs the Niners but as usual he lacked the cojones to do so Roland17: I knew you were coming to vilify the GOAT and hate on the GREATEST NFL team in history! The Packers offered Adams the same package he accepted with the Raiders but he turned it down because he wanted to play somewhere else. I will have to agree that he did not feel he was important during this whole negotiation. I wish he stayed but I wish him well and look forward to seeing what he can do catching balls from D. Carr. The shitPackers have 2 Superbowls in 54 years. Pipedown bro You guys should have paid Adams long ago instead of insulting him with a franchise tag.
