This ESPN list is mostly buttcheeks. They got MJ right but the rest is pretty rubbish.
Imagine putting Vince Carter, McGrady and Ray Allen ahead of Clyde Drexler. I don't know what world is Giannis #25 all time and why AD is that high as well. Some of the ratings are borderline bizzare. Drexler at 57? Lol GTFOH |

Roland17: The embolden is the reason why I love and respect Kobe Bryant. Kobe was an integral link between MJ's era and the new era of basketball and that aspect of Kobe's role is grossly underrated. Speaking of MJ, he did not need any more motivation to win, he just found one and perseverated about it. Winning was a compulsive behavior and he pushed the limits to achieve it because he understood the consequences of losing. Losing to the Magic at the ECF after his return from baseball was all the motivation he needed to redominate the NBA! I think he would have dominated for even longer if he had a healthier lifestyle. He really pushed his body to the limits and the fact that he had no posse and still had quite a few of what one might call vices is quite interesting. It's also remarkable that those vices never got in the way of his basketball. MJ and Kobe were far and away the most influential people in modern basketball and were two of the biggest reasons the sport is what it is today |

DeeMain: So minutes played and influence on a game are now the same thing? Na wah o.
Prior to the injury Isiah could hijack a game and win it all by himself if he needed to like an MJ would. After the injury he could no longer do that. It affected his game in every way, ball handling, dribbling, shooting, resilience. In fact, opposing players would hack away at that wrist as they all now knew it was his Achilles heel. It speaks to his mental toughness that he was able to still impact a game at all and lead his team after that injury.
Everyone, including the Pistons Management knew the end had come when the injury would not heal.
Till this day that right wrist is still almost immobile. What do you mean by influence in the game? The Pistons were never a team that solely relied on one player. Isiah was their leader but they were always a team that relied on community. The Pistons would have been swept whether Isiah had wrist issues or not. The next season Isiah was perfectly ok when they got beaten by the Knicks A torn Achilles was what ended his career three years later not any wrist issues. Get your facts correct bro |

Roland17: Even the biggest TV and ESPN critics agree this is a wonderful piece. The excerpts below particularly the embolden summarize his greatness. He broke down in tears after this quote and my goodness did I hear a pin drop! He was unrepentant in the way he was mentally built! You can't beat that!
“Look I don’t have to do this [film]. I’m only doing it because it is who I am. That’s how I play the game. That was my mentality. If you don’t want to play that way, don’t play that way.”
#LastDance The horde of Jordan haters have been baying for blood since the Documentary came out. His style was not perfect and MJ has never claimed perfection but basketball was more than a game to him. He knew he would take the blame if his team failed and he couldn't allow that. It's like you're running a company, there would always be guys who you need to push a little harder than most because the buck stops at your desk but if you succeed everyone eats. Look at the Horace Grant for example, does he think if he wasn't a member of that first 3peat a team like Orlando would give him a $50m contract for 5 years? So many players we are only talking about today because they were teammates of MJ. The modern league as we know it today went global because of him and how he played the game |

DeeMain: The Pistons reign had run its course with or without the Bulls. Isiah, whom the Pistons was built around, had a career ending wrist injury before the beginning of the season that affected his play in the series. He was no longer the same player. He never recovered and retired at 32 because of it.
If he had been fit, it would not have been that easy for the Bulls. I think you're really hyper-extending yourself to not give credit where it's due. Using this same logic we can also say the Pistons were able to overthrow the Celtics solely because they got old. This so-called career ending injury you claim ended Isiah's career did not stop him from averaging 38 minutes per game in that series. The following two years he averaged 18 and 7.5 assists and played 79 games so explain how he was no longer the same player? He played for 13 seasons which is about above average for the lifespan of guards from the 80's era If MJ had a better supporting cast who is to say he would not have beaten the Pistons much earlier. The Pistons were arguably the deepest team of all time with Dumars, Isiah, Vinny Johnson, Rodman, Mahorn and Aguirre DeeMain: Big ups to MJ and the Bulls though for they worked hard to overcome the Pistons' hump and were a reallly good team.
MJ and Pippen so insulted and disrespected the Pistons in Press interviews when it became clear they were going to win and I'm sure it heavily influenced the walk out.
History has not been kind to Isiah. There was never any love lost between the Bulls and Pistons but I don't understand how walking off the court improves anything. Anyway it speaks to Isiah and how he is perceived by his peers that nobody stuck their neck out for him to be welcomed back into the team. Not even his coach. Assuming it was remotely true that MJ didn't want him there. You think if Malone, Bird and Magic insisted Isiah wouldn't make it in?

Cech was by far the most important player for Chelsea that night. He kept the game from being a rout. Drogba scored the equalizer then undid his hard work by causing the penalty that Cech had to again save
Time for shootout Mata missed and Chelsea were the second takers and so at a distinct disadvantage. They were trailing again till Cech made another save
But for Cech Drogba's contribution would have been for naught |

Ngannou is an absolute monster. What was Rozenstruik thinking calling him out? Is he tired of life?

pkasso: Nah. He actually picked up the injury on the first day of training. I didn't know it was going to be this serious. I kinda feel for the guy. He has been unlucky with injuries and has not really had the chance to cement his place a the club. There is nothing wrong with selling him for the right price as there is also Goretzka but that would leave us short on quality in midfield. Martinez is probably leaving at the end of the season and Cuisance isn't ready yet so i think he should stay. After all we've a good history of persevering and getting the best out of crocks https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2020/5/6/21248826/bayern-munich-corentin-tolisso-ivan-perisic-inter-milan-transfer-rumors-serie-a-injuries-bundesligaNon contact injury. So he might as well have been injured during isolation Tolisso to me is just too average. He has to go. Decent midfield players shouldn't cost a fortune especially in this post Corona environment. I've not seen anything from Tolisso that can make one overlook his permacrock state |

How you go get 3 months injury while in isolation. The way its looking he might be injured through the transfer window sef and we might not be able to sell Even when he was fit. Roland17: Yes, they were winning but they could not get over the hump until Phil arrived with the triangle and they won their first title in 1991. If you ask me, you can not isolate Pippen's maturation from MJ's influence, that is one strong information I have learned since watching the documentary. Not like I was unaware but it just grounded my belief even more. Pippen had the body but man was a chicken when he first came into the league, to which the Pistons even alluded to that. The same way you can not isolate Pippen's growth to the triangle because it was perfect timing during his maturation process and Michael's resolve to win a title overtook his desire to win individual accolades as he was tired of losing to the Pistons. Doug Collins took them to a conference finals as well. Perhaps they are not as dominant like they were with Phil but with an improving Pippen I can still see them winning titles Let's also get one thing clear, Phil Jackson was not taking that Bulls squad from 84-88 anywhere whether with triangle or rectangle offense. Those teams were the traveling cocaine circus Of course MJ played a very crucial role in Scottie's maturation and pushed him to become better as a second banana to MJ. |

Roland17: Haha!!! Did you see where he ranked MJ? Dude had his personal issues but I'd not allow those issues to question his relevance during that era because he was one of the best players during that era. He's a salty old man. He really needs to search himself and ask himself why Magic, Bird, Malone, Daly didn't lobby to get him back into the team. Magic was his friend and it's rumored Isiah was spreading rumors about his sexuality when he was diagnosed with HIV What I find the most hilarious in all this is that Bron fanboys who swore Isiah was old and washed when the Bulls beat them are now suddenly arguing that Isiah deserved to make the team in 92. Lol which is it? |

benji93: up and coming is kind of an undervaluation, Man. . He won the MVP in 1987/1987 season and had averaged over 30 points per game 5 consecutive seasons prior to the 1990/1991 season . Although I agree with the fact that they beat him up, with some help from the referees. Besides, it is said that Isiah was injured during that 1990 season(regular). If he was healthy maybe that could have affected the outcome of the finals(at least they don't get swept). . Maybe not up and coming as a star but perhaps as a leader. He did a lot or had to do a lot on his own I don't want to hear anything about Isiah injury. He averaged 38 mins in that sweep. Lol I no wan hear any story |
