Roland17: He is talented but like I said earlier, my biggest problem with Rozier is the propensity to play out of control. You are right, he blends pretty well with the other young cats but if he is to be trusted with that position long term with a contract, he would need to be disciplined and make good decisions with the ball and stop forcing plays that become costly turnovers. He is young. He will get there with time. This win or bust mentality is what is killing Boston. Let these kids grow organically |

Who are those saying Giannis doesn't or didn't deserve MVP. Una go dey alright. Mamba mentality Roland17: PK Subban is on the move again as he joins the New Jersey Devils who also drafted the number one overall pick Jack Hughes. I will definitely be watching and rooting for Subban like I have always. Nashville really blew it that year they won the President's Cup. Their window is closed. Subban and that salary had to go. It would be interesting to see how that team works with Taylor Hall returning

All these numbers are useless without points mate. Besides nobody said LeNomad wasn't the best player. My point is he had a shitload of help. Kyrie outplayed the best player on the Warriors FFS |

CuteRedd: They bashed KD but see nothing wrong with Lebron bringing in AD and possibly another All star. Lebron hasn’t won any chip without 3 all stars!!! Pathetic double standards! SmooshCHN: "KD joined the team that beat them and LeBron didn't so, it's different". Don't mind the hypocritical drunkards. LeNomad got Dwyane Wade and Bosh in their prime to form one team. They keep referring to 73-9 as if the record rolls over into the next season but it's ok for a Finals MVP to get a 2 time MVP and another All-NBA player to bully the rest of the league. In their eyes only LeNomad is permitted to recruit 2-3 Avengers level talents. The rest of the league should just play sitting ducks. |

steady986: Lol, how well did Kyrie do in this year's playoffs? Can't you see that his big brother wasn't there to support? It is what it is bro, let's not fight it. I don't recall anyone suggesting Kyrie was an A-SIDE. What I showed you was what Kyrie contributed to that victory which LeNomad fans always go out of their way to reduce. The Boston situation it's pretty clear there was no chemistry there. This was a team that literally played better without him. However that's neither here nor there What is pertinent to note is that Kyrie Irving averaged 30pts per game the last 3 games Cleveland won and shot 16 fewer shots than LeNomad |

Nostradamus: The draft was dope. Please I've got one question all..
Is it possible for one who is schooling in nigeria/playing in any of Nigeria's league(dodan barracks, first bank and other naija bball teams)to get drafted directly to the NBA without having to go to college in America? From Nigerian League? Lol don't even waste your time. Your best bet is going to all these Basketball without Borders camp they hold in SA. If you luck out and get spotted some school might pick you (depending on your age) or at least you wind up in Europe. However anyone interested in any sport and is not actively plotting how to leave Nigeria is definitely not serious enough about it |

Khanben: If Porter becomes the scorer he can be, Denver will be hard to beat in the next 3 years. Denver badly need guys that would take shots out of the hands of that bricking merchant Jamal Murray. I'm hoping Porter can be one of those guys this year. Especially as Gary Harris didn't assert himself enough on offense like he should have after he returned. Barring bizarre injuries I like Denver competing for a top 4 seed again next season. With the Warriors having injury issues who knows maybe another top 2 seed and a deep playoff run |

Oga Ade don't drag LeNomad in this matter. The sheer volume of shots Kyrie takes tells anyone with a working brain that Kyrie is also accounted for on offense. It's not that Golden State didn't also try to stop Kyrie. They couldn't |

Roland17: Big Al’s contract situation is one that has got me scratching my head. I can understand Celtics standpoint by offering him 3 years at 33 but the man wants 4 and more money. I really wish we can keep him but it seems that is no longer possible because the man believes he deserves to be paid more and I can fault him. Definitely one player who epitomized what it means to be a Celtic on the floor. With his impending departure, I hope to see more of Robert Williams. The kid just needs some polishing and he will be pretty good. Kyrie’s situation is one I have been very clear about in the past. It’s not shocking that he would be leaving and it’s purely about contrasting styles and team approach to each game. I still believe he is one of the best players and the best ball handler of his generation. Whenever the announcement happens, I would wish him well and hope he succeeds in his next team. The Celtic idea is very clear and that is what I hold close to my heart. No one is going to hold the team ransom. It was too risky to lose Tatum to the Pelicans for a rental with no assurances and that is why Ainge pulled the plug. Congrats to the Lakers, they have an exceptional talent if he stays healthy. I was hoping we go for Little but Romeo is not too bad but definitely needs to bulk up especially since his game is about creating shots with drives and jumpers. Let’s see what we do with the other picks. #greenrunsdeep Why do you want to keep Big Al for another 4 years? You guys will have issues when it's time to pay Tatum and Brown. Isn't it better you let him walk and aim for flexibility especially with Hayward's contract on the books. It's time for Ainge and the Celtics to adjust expectations, retool and face reality. Allow your current crop of young players to evolve naturally and look for solid mid-tier options that can keep the team competitive. If Kyrie leaves give Rozier the starting shirt, keep Mook and you guys should still be in play for a second round appearance at least |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:05am On Jun 22, 2019 |
Denver might phuck around and be the new Golden State.
So they have Jokic, Harris, Trey Lyles, Jamal Murray, Monte Morris, Malik Beasley, Michael Porter Jr who should be healthy and then Manute's son as well on mostly cheap deals. Now if they could just offload Will Barton and Mason Plumlee they would be perfect. The issue is what do with Millsap who would be a useful veteran mentor, do they pick up that heavy team option for one year or try to get a marquee FA with that money |

steady986: Lol, again stats could be deceiving. Dou you know that LeBron was double teamed in that series? And therefore Kyrie had too many good looks to open shots. Again, watch the games and analyse them properly and you might learn a thing or two. Maifren will you keep shut!!! Are you claiming Kyrie never got doubled or what is even the essence of this your useless point. The nerve of this dude, what part of Kyrie's playing style and the kind of shots he makes and takes shows any sensible person that Kyrie relied on open looks. Maifren go and sit down. Everyone knows LeStats is a well known notorious stats hoarder. Even he knows it. All I care about is dismantling these useless myths and urban legend that LeNomad has ever won jack by himself in this league. In the 3-1 come back series Kyrie Irving dropped 90pts in the last 3 games. That's 30 points per game. And get this! Kyrie took 16 fewer shots than LeStats Without those contributions all of LeNomad's usual stats gathering is rendered useless |

SmooshCHN: All the Warriors did was draft Splash brothers, Draymond and added KD via free agency and they got hated on so much for it by many.. Now these same people are advocating monster moves for the Lakers. Double standard is interesting to watch. We know who's gonna get triggered but it's just facts that the Warriors and KD never did anything wrong. The hypocrites were the problem from the onset as I've always said.
If Kyrie like, let him go back to LA. Warriors will be back and there's no stopping that. Hypocrites, shameless ones if I might add saw nothing wrong with the Decision where 3 lottery picks in their prime, two of whom were arguably top 5 in the league teamed to form the mother of Super Teams. My stance has always been if you had no issue with that Decision at the time and the unfair advantage it gave the Heat then unless you're a hypocrite you should have no issues with KD's move either. No point arguing about whose fart stinks worse |

ElDeeVee: Agreed. D’Antoni’s system can’t win the league since he only cares about one side of the ball. Recent report of problems between Harden and CP will not help them. CP3 is tradeable and they can find the right pieces (not necessarily max players) to contend with the Lakers for the NBA final. One thing I know for sure is that the current roster with D’Antoni in charge will not win the chip. I want to see where they trade CP3 to. It would have to be to a team trying to offload an equally bad contract because realistically with 3 years of this deal left I don't know a right thinking GM that would trade for Chris Paul right now after seeing him in decline like this |

The question is, why is nobody interested in buying him? Why is Bayern begging everyone to come and carry him at knocked-down price of 15m, yet nobody wants to rush him? Many questions you are not answering here. What was the quality of Hummels run? We are talking in Europe not the local league. Prime Boateng got to back to back CL Finals Hummels spent just 3 years at Bayern. A Bavarian and Bayern academy product that should be dragging for captaincy. birdman: i never thought of it like that, but it does make sense. But if CP3 cannot talk sense to him, who can? CP3's floor general skills have never been questioned in the NBA.
I fear Harden is actually delusional though...he was enjoying last season's scoring streak too much for my liking. I think we have a prima donna on our hands especially if Dantoni gets fired too. Nothing worse than someone you don't respect critiquing you. Worse is CP3 seems like someone with an abrasive personality so he probably could have also gone about it the wrong way. I think some blame goes to Mike D'Antoni as well. I heard he hates confrontation to a fault but this present Rockets setup needs to change and he just strikes me as someone scared to rock the boat Surely Harden must know that his playing style needs to change if he ever wants to win a ring.
