Nihilist:Lool how can Nike win with Ikedia in their squad? Only 3 CL and WC winners in that Nike team. Boa-TANK is one of them. Pay homage niqqah Hummels is the only non CL winner on Adidas and has a WC. To be fair I think Adidas has the stronger lineup |
Really hard to know who to believe. Less than a week ago he was talking about winning a 4th straight BuLi title something must have sparked a 180 so quickly Its not like I didn't expect Schweini to leave at some point but he's merely 31. The body language suggests Pep was not a fan, its possible that certain factors hastened his exit. There's more than enough time to experience a new culture by the time he reaches his mid-30's The way I see it I just hope we don't get the DeAndre treatment from Pep after all this. We have a bunch of 30 year olds but it seems we have offloaded the wrong one |

cao:Lool wow you are missing! Honestly! Try to see any one of them if you can. You might get addicted I see you have Season 7 of Burn Notice. Seen some episodes, very intense I'm enjoying Ballers anyway. I'm on my second episode |
I saw this somewhere. I didn't see Mueller on their list. I was so peeved I decided to do something about it. Adidas vs Nike. Who you with? Still can't believe you guys are about to land Schweinsteiger
|
I'm still in denial mode. Why can't we just give him a two-year extension? He's only 31 Why is Pep trying so hard to destroy this team? |

cao:Sounds like my kind of show, sort of like the sports version of Entourage (best series ever IMO) Just downloaded two episodes anyway, will get to watching Have you seen Silicon Valley? |
SIRcumalot:So if you were West Brom GM you would pay £10m for Jonny Evans? #Facepalm |
This DeAndre is a b@stard oo! From a basketball standpoint he must have realized no awoof lob dunks for him and from a business standpoint the Clips could offer the most money, its a no-brainer Which begs the question, why did he say he was leaving and agreed to a deal with the Mavs in the first place? Then he wasn't even man enough to tell the organization he had changed his mind and went behind to contact the Clippers. The worst part was he waited till the last possible minute when every decent center had been yanked off the market to pull such a classless maneuver For someone so tall he is quite the mental midget and if there is any justice in the world he would shred the ACL in both his knees on opening night Cuban should have gotten a fall-back option so he also has himself to blame. Its unlikely Chandler does a 180 and so its back to square 1. Not that DeAndre would be enough to get past Golden State, Spurs or even a healthy OKC but at least defence for improve |
cao:Its that good huh? Everyone telling me I need to see it |
SIRcumalot:Yeah I forgot they still have Diaw DeAndre is just a crazeman! Anyway its not his fault I blame it on the dearth of Centers in the League |
Roland17:I think they can hide LaMarcus in that defence, the Spurs are not quite the best anymore on defence anyway. They actually rely more on their offence. So on nights Tim Duncan is struggling on that end he will be more than able to step up, that's assuming he is not the focal point of the offence already. The thing is Kawhi showed he is not quite ready to be a consistent volume scorer just yet so playing for Aldridge was a no-brainer I wonder how they handle their Center position, Aldridge was pretty clear he doesn't want to play Center so you have to wonder if 39 year old Duncan has to start there next year In other news KG extends, now to play in his 21st season. first player to play in his teens, twenties, thirties and potentially forties |
David Lulz The OG greats 41 years ago. Breitner, Maier, Mueller, Beckenbauer
|
will007:He will be back next season Interesting drama building up between the Mavs and Clippers for DeAndre, it seems he might stay in L.A afterall. Cuban shoulda gone for Hibbert jeje |

afrodoc2:I don't hype without anything to backup Chale. And secondly a country whose footballers have not made the Finals of a major national tournament in 49 years deserve every discredit it can get I don't know about your Best/Charlton/Littbarski business and for the umpteenth time direct your complaint to Raumdeuter There are numerous German greats and they have produced triple the players that have come out of the British Isles. |
raumdeuter:It always amuses me when Afrodoc thinks men just dey hype German players for hyping sake! If I hype a German player best believe I can back it up. Injuries were not kind on Mehmet, Btw 99-01 you could make an argument that he was the best AM in all of Europe. He was a genius |
SailorXY:Its crazy braah! Had a friend from school who worked offshore. Nigga was collecting major funds. Na ABTI, Babcock and Lekki/Ajah olosho girls finish this phoolish guy money. Dude got thrown off the rig after a workplace incident and didn't have 200k to his name. A lot of these guys usually have no savings whatsoever, as the money comes na so dem dey blow am |
chic2pimp:I don't care for FIFA or Balon D'Or megedefegede. An award that had David Beckham as the 2nd best player in the world? Twice! You gotta be shitting me Michael Ballack is one unlucky muthapucka! This guy has to be the unluckiest man in the history of football. If he were born just 5 years later we are talking of probably someone that would have been a World and European Champion. If not for the high premium I place on titles no way can Lampard be better than Ballack Now for Scholes and Mehmet simple question I would ask you, how many times did you see Mehmet play? Go and watch Bayern vs Man U both legs in 2001 CL Q/Finals where Mehmet Scholl and Effe took Scholes to church. Abi is it the semis vs Madrid? Do we go back to the previous year and check how Scholl destroyed Madrid in the 2nd group stage both legs? Scholes has encountered Scholl on numerous occasions with Mehmet more often than not emerging the better player. I don't agree that Scholes was the better player as far as I'm concerned if not for injuries Mehmet Scholl would have finished head and shoulders ahead of Scholes. England and English players tend to overhype their own and it has a rub-on effect. I've seen too much Scholl and he was an awesome player. Definitely as good as Scholes and I dare say but for injury would have been better |
Lol the DailyFail It seems the English have been cursed with mediocrity. Even their journalism is asinine |
Shebi I was telling Sircumalot. The Lakers not being able to get players has nothing to do with Kobe. If they could compete for a title players would join regardless |
chic2pimp:I know your answer to this question already. If you are asked I bet you will pick Lampard and Scholes Lampard and Ballack are just about equals, Ballack was unfortunate to come up in an era where he Oliver Kahn and Miroslav Klose were the only decent German players around even for club he played when Bayern were not an elite team in Europe. Lampard has the slight edge but only because Ballack was unlucky to retire without a major international tournament Scholes and Scholl is also a tie for me. And that is because I like Scholes, I watched both of them play and injuries did not let Scholli really reach his potential. German players never really get their due credit that's why people can do a list of players from the 90's and not include Lothar Matthaus. A lot of other German players (Kohler, Sammer, Andy Moeller, Klinsmann) never get their just dues. A draw for me |
StarBoard:I wasn't born when Pele started either but I watch tapes. So long as its a sport I like (whether Basketball, Boxing, F1, NFL, Tennis) I always go down the archives so I at least have an informed opinion of the past greats. Football back then was very hard. Not for diving sissies at all. Just to defend Messi people have gone to extreme lengths to discredit football from that era but some of us know better. They said Pele never played in Europe but little did they know the South American League was at par or even stronger than European Leagues in his time with teams like Penarol, Nacional from Uruguay. Independiente, Boca from Argentina. Santos, Cruzeiro etc from Brazil Left to them they would scrap International football just to show that Messi is the greatest. How can anyone tell me a player yet to score a goal in the knockout stage of a World Cup is the greatest with a team as talented as the Argentines? If you even say greatest club player I won't argue Even if he can't win a major tournament at least be dominant in any of them, not scoring against Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria The greatest always deliver in the clutch. This is Messi's 3rd Final nothing to show for it. afrodoc2:Chale you are swinging wildly now. At what point did I argue about any list? The only person's list I questioned was Nihilist. Why would I put Rummenigge and Littbarski in a list of players from the 60's? Even the likes of Beckenbauer and Mueller didn't start dominating till the 70's so tell me why I would argue that Rummenigge should be in a 60's list? I don't even understand. All I said was George Best was overrated. What does this have to do with arguing in favor of anybody tori Olorun? And if its strictly for argument purpose then yes Rummenigge is better than your George Best. Here's hoping you don't assume I'm putting him in a 60's list again |
elampiro:Please no dey include the Boa-TANK with sankwas like O'Shea and Meireles. When he was shutting down Messi at the last World Cup Final people no talk He doesn't just have a world cup, he formed the spine of a defence that conceded just 4 goals in 7 games. 2 of them came in garbage time He was also a starter for a treble-winning team Key player for the best National team in the world and one of the best 4 clubs in Europe no be sere kambia |
elampiro:That was one of the worst performances of a ref in a World Cup Final. Within 25minutes he had completely lost control of the match. Not a good example at all elampiro:They have paid the cost to be the boss! We are only giving credit where its due. If we don't hype players who have been multiple World and European Champions then who should we hype? |
afrodoc2:George Best was overrated biko! Same way Beckham was overrated doesn't mean they were not good players I don't recall typing anything about Littbarski, jowo direct your complaint through the appropriate channel Rummenigge and Pele are obviously not in the same era The rest na you take your mouth talk am |
raumdeuter:That is typical Cameroon. Shebi na how them dey always chance us that year be that Overall though Argentina no try. The contrast between the Argentine team of 86 and 90 was just too ghastly raumdeuter:The British with their oun ta ni la n gbe l'aroge syndrome. All their players are world-class. Them go call Beckenbauer, Brits go wan use Bobby Moore compare People go call Gerd Mueller them go wan use George Best compare |
leggo:It is controversial now but then it was hardly an issue, he even went on to play the Final. Germany were given a freekick Back then there were no consequences for playing rough. Absolutely none! It was at Italia 90 that Argentina reintroduced thuggery to football and unfortunately for them that was when FIFA decided to take player safety serious Nihilist:This your list has kwashiokor oo! How will you put Dunga and Pires in any all-time list and leave out one of the greatest libero/sweeper of all-time Lotthar Matthaus? Pires?? Kwekee oo! |
raumdeuter:More like Yinka Best. Ko gbe oge wa ko le gbe oge lo |
