Leyqute: We are talking about individual displays you are yaarning team results. Imagine Man CIty having a Ribery, a Robben and others. Then compare!

(-_- )( -_-) (-_- )( -_-)(-_- )
So Robben and Ribery are the reasons why Kompany cannot galvanize his defence to keep clean sheets? You mean Silva,Dzeko,Aguero,Negredo are not good enough?
Excuses galore looool
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by A40(m): 2:42pm On Dec 22, 2013
Leyqute: Kompany's absence has been the reason Man City's defense hasn't been so strong this season. If Kompany were to be playing for Bayern, BYN's 2 CB's will be bench warmers cos Kpy can do their jobs combined.

#burnthisleaguedown smh
Was he in an asylum when City failed to get out of the group stage for 2 years running. This same Kompany that couldn't hold down the fort at mid-table Hamburg na him wan start for Bayern? Whosai!!

Oghos1: this statistic tho undecided
U mean bayern played just 26 times in 2 seasonshuh
bollocks
In the Champions League na! You sef reason, 13 games each in 2 Champions League seasons = 26

Oghos1: Kompany is better and boateng is average. How are those co-related?
I only argued for one of those.
Kompany is shyte and overrated! He has nada on Boateng

Oghos1: Sort urself out bro then we can argue.
Thankz
Don't flatter yourself bruh! Just thought to chip in

Oghos1: So u r seriously goin to say that baoteng is better than kompany with a str8 face??!! Lol.

Asif baoteng was d central fugure in bayern's run to 2clfinals. Mtchew.
Bayern played 26 games in 2 seasons he started in 20 I wonder what is more central than that?

Da phuck is Kompany? Boateng shytes on him!

He's started for Die Mannschaft in the last 2 major tournaments so he's a far above average defender

Who else thinks the Lakers need to shut down Kobe? I know he probably wouldn't agree with his stubborn head but 0-4 since his return shows they don't need a struggling Bryant yet especially when they go on to win the next game in his absence

Warriors have been the biggest disappointment so far. Losing to a Spurs team without Parker,Duncan or Ginobili

dayokanu: At AmeRican airLines center to watch maverick vs raptors
Damn I'm sure you wished you didn't! Crushing loss

James Harden fast becoming one of the most inefficient high volume scorers in the league (no one is taking the title from Rudy Gay anytime soon)

With Granger back you have to wonder how he would react to not being topdog with the Pacers anymore.

Ibime: Ballack was the heart and soul of Ancelottis midfield. Without Ballack, the way Ancelotti set his team up to play does not exist.

I've heard some unwise folk say a lot of rubbish about Ballack on this thread over the years. I usually spot nincompoops the moment they open their mouth to yarn rubbish about Ballack. Rest assured, Ballack and Paul Scholes were the players of midfield from 2006 to 2010. (I'm ruling out Lamps and Fabregas as AMs). The power in his play, his range of passing, the SPEED of his passes, and his indomitable mentality is unmatched. Some lady who never kicked a football in her life could not wait for Ballack to leave, championing the arrival of Ramires. Since the season Ramires directly replaced Ballack, Chelsea have never even competed for title again, instead we've been struggling to qualify for UCL. Season 2010/11, Ballack for Ramires was the only transfer made that summer and we immediately went from grace to grass, and been in the grass ever since.
Haba! I'm not questioning Ballack's excellence here everyone knows that Ballack was a gee even though he was past his prime at Chelsea all I'm saying is Chelsea's midfield/exit of Ballack was not the sole reason for Chelsea's attacking problems. The form of guys like Anelka,Malouda,Drogba key cogs in Chelsea's attack also went to shyte! Along with the introduction of the £50 million pound striker that shall not be named

Even with an outstanding midfield you still need the strikers to finish

debosky: More bollocks from Ibime - pray tell, how did Man United 'dictate the pulse of the game' over the past 2 seasons except from the wings? Or did their weak central midfield do that for them?

No one is saying your central midfield is fantastic, but it isn't and cannot be an excuse for lack of attacking football.
Its not the sole excuse I think that is where I disagree with Ibime. However it is one of the excuses

Man United do have a Carrick a deep lying playmaker who keeps things ticking quietly in the middle. You usually won't notice them till they get injured for a spell
With Robben and Ribery we know there is still gobe if Schweini is not in form or injured (up till the maturation of Kroos)

Dortmund are sorely missing Gundogan especially with Reus out of form they are not quite as dynamic as they used to be

nitlad: Lol. . . Dem Wu Lei, Chong-Yong, even bloody Kerzhakov nko?
I just think they are trying their best to pick a player from every crevice of the globe.

A-40, like you stated a the beginning of the 'strange sightings', turns out Sammy was actually pulling a publicity stunt afterall. cheesy cheesy
Being sighted at Chelsea,Juve and Bayern stadiums simultaneously and no other stadia was all the clues I needed

Ibime: Malouda was on beastmode cos Ballack, Lamps, Deco and Essien (till Afcon injury) won every midfield battle, allowing Malouda freedom to play close to goal.
Deco and Ballack were peripheral for the most part. Lamps was probably the standout but they relied heavily on width as well! The Malouda-Cole axis was untouchable in England. Though Mou's Inter taught Chelsea a brutal lesson with Sneijder and Cambiasso in the middle so maybe you have a point

Ibime: Mourinho got the summer very wrong. I don't believe he's been watching Chelsea closely at Madrid otherwise he would know the greatest need is in central midfield and no9. Lukaku would solve most of the no9 problem so all this talk of needing a striker carries no weight with me. He must bite the bullet till Lukaku returns. On the other hand, Willian and Schurrle are long-time targets so JM was just just being diplomatic as the incompetent Emenalo carried on the same foolishness that epitomizes his abysmal failure as Technical Director. The way JM is ranting and raving recently, you can tell he is not having it his way with transfer targets and is trying to put media pressure on the owner. But his approach is all wrong. He spent all summer ranting about Rooney instead of trusting Lukaku and ranting about the midfield instead. Now he is ranting for new striker but he's already missed his chance with Lukaku. It's time for him to rant about the midfield, strengthen that area and manage the rest of the season with 1-0 wins. I give him till summer to sort out the midfield and bring Lukaku back. That would end all this aggro.
Bang! There were decent young midfielders like Strootman,Alcantara even Pep with Schweini,Martinez and Kroos still insisted on Thiago if worst comes to worst he could have even tried to drag Alonso along from Madrid! He had options better than Van Ginkel that much is clear he should shoulder most of the blame if things keep going south!

Ibime: Ancelotti played attacking footie from central midfield. All football starts in the centre. You cannot dictate the pulse of a game from the wings. 3 managers in a row facing similar issues is enough evidence of a structural problem with the makeup of the team. It's an unbalanced piece of trash.
Yeah but the wingplay was superb as well. Malouda was on beastmode all season long

Mourinho picked up Willian and Schuerrle for like £50 million he should also get the blame at some point

I'm sure Blazers fans don't even remember who Brandon Roy is anymore never mind Greg Oden. Damian Lillard is shaping up to be some player! I still think the Blazers can't play any D to save their lives so even if they finish #1 seed its unlikely they go all the way still they are the best in the league so far
