People talk about Drogba's poor first touch but I've noticed since #Torreswatch began that Torres's first touch is usually just as bad if not worse especially with his back to goal! How did he degenerate to this point?

montelik: Actually Red Bull are to blame. They should have had a clear discussion with both Webber and Vettel about what needed to happen on lap 1 and not left it up to drivers. There was nothing stopping them from telling Webber to let Vettel past or telling Vettel to stay behind Webber and pass him later in the race. Instead they left left to each drivers discretion. As we saw later in the race Webber did let Vettel past when he needed and assisted where he could.

Red Bull should have dropped their overly moralistic "let them race approach" and carefully co-ordinated the opening lap with both drivers. They are extremely lucky Vettel wasn't collected when he spun and he could still finish.

If you compare Massa's role to Alonso then its clear Webber didn't do much maybe Massa's contract situation had a hand in it.
Webber was useless in key stretches and in a way did more harm than good to Vettel's push! Even the Korea race that the Anti-Vettel crew say Webber ceded to Vettel its well known that he loses a position or two at the start as he's such a slow starter.
Why pull a move on your teammate in the Final race of the season? Webber shoulda used his discretion

On a sidenote Alonso really needs to start qualifying higher. We get that he has a slow car and blah blah blah but only two cars are faster than Ferrari at the grid. So at worst should be starting an average of 5th. Had he qualified higher he would have had a legit chance of winning the race

Dude needs to learn to manage his car sometimes! There's time to be aggressive and a time to be conservative he just doesn't seem to know the difference at times. McLaren had a really good car faster than the RBR IMO just didn't handle adversity well

Kobayashi might get a look in if a new team comes in. A bit rough around the edges and error prone but most new generation guys these days are anyway and as we know its all about the sponsors. I can only think of two vacancies at the moment and guys like Sutil,Alguersuari,Buemi are on the outside looking in
