omar22: Ferrari "asked for clarification" about a matter which needed no clarifying only because Alonso threw a tantrum.
Those ninjas must have been blind. A shame they are stuck with Alonso till 2016. On-board cameras clearly showed the marshal waving a green flag or did they think Vettel would be so naïve to make that kind of mistake

omar22: There was a time when Ferrari was bigger than any one man, bigger than any one driver. They sacked Prost (a better man and a better driver than Alonso) for complaining about their car. How far they have fallen! These days the entire firm exists to stroke the ego of one sad and pathetic little man.
In a few years Alosno will leave Ferrari. But their reputation will still be stained.
Let's be honest Ferrari where a sleeping giant till Schummie came on board.
I suspect Alonso has some kind of dirt on them because the Ferrari I used to know won't stand for this BS

omar22: Quote from Bernie Ecclestone - Bernie Ecclestone has slammed Ferrari's decision to prolong the debate over whether Sebastian Vettel passed Jean-Eric Vergne under yellows in Brazil.

Ferrari make me sick in the belly. They are becoming the new "McLaren" of F1. McLaren and Ferrari have been constantly whining to Charlie and the FIA for the last few years (Since Vettel has been knocking their socks off.) Every time you turn around they want a clarification about a flexible wing or an automatically adjustable ride height or a blown diffuser or the throttle % while blowing or a hand adjustable ride height or WHATEVER! Red Bull basically never complain. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The Red Bull team is Nobel and Chivalrous just like Sebastian is Nobel and Chivalrous!
Alonso has brought his own special brand of nastiness to Ferrari. I would bet that it was HE who proposed to Flavio that Piquet should turn into the wall !
Of course that crash had Alonso written all over it

They better retool and find a way to come up with an answer to the problem called Vettel! Its 3 on the bounce and next year could easily be 4

Rondo suspended for 2 games.

Lol Gregg Pop is a mad man rested Parker,Ginobili,Duncan for the Heat game! Not like he had a choice and I don't know why that Dictator or is it Commissioner they call him want to punish Popovich for that! These schedules are too damn grueling and guys like Duncan,Ginobili are on the wrong side of 30 they need a little rest here and there and a veteran coach like Pop understands that! At the end of the day Commisioner Stern ought to apply a bit more tact in scenarios like these

omar22: The rules allows you to change the set up but you have to start from the pit! Lewis started from the back of the grid because his car was set up to race, Vettels car wasnt set up to race from the back, changing the gear ratio to longer ones to have a better straightline speed. In Catalunya Lewis passed 4 cars before reaching turn 1, in Abu Dhabi Vettel came out of the tunnel by then the last car has passed turn 6, Massa has been mentally battered by Ferrari treating him like a hand puppet the guy is demolised but started performing well after he knew his future is secured, from Race 1 Massa has been asked not to hold up Alonso, or they call him for a pit stop. Schumacher moving out of the way for Vettel, well everyone who moved from the clean side to the dirty side in Austin (US Grand prix) would move over for Vettel, and dont ever say the Ferrari is not fast enough because RBR wasnt that fast as well, but the car was built for fast corners.
Can you imagine this dude even comparing both instances? Alonso fanboys are something else!
This was a Massa that just came back from a horrific crash but everywhere Alonso goes he has to be #1 and everything has to be setup for him to succeed! Compare and contrast to the situation at Red Bull and McLaren where there is no defacto #1
I respect Kimi Raikkonen's accomplishments this season more than Alonso's whose car is waaaay faster than advertised. At least Massa's performances these last 2-3 races clearly show it

hercules07: Everybody has his own favorite but the way you are going about yours is just too much, you talked about Ferrari breaking the seal, did Redbull not also use the rules to their advantage when they started Vettel in the pits instead of at the back of the grid thereby giving him free air,
Are you joking? How can you even compare starting in the pit lane to intentionally tampering with your team mates gearbox??

hercules07: you spoke about ferrari hindering Massa, how could they hinder the guy when he was struggling to get to Q2 and Q1s, Ferrari fully backed alonso when they realised that Massa was out of the race
When have Ferrari ever backed Massa or even given him equal rights? Have you forgotten "Fernando is faster than you can you confirm you understood that message?"

hercules07: , as per honor bone that thing, why did Schumacer move out of the way for vettel, are they team mates, F1 is a competitive sport and the guys there will compete to the maximum, well done to vettel for winning but big props to alonso for losing by a mere 3 points in a car that could not out run a danfo.
Why not? First and foremost they are compatriots, teammates in the Race of Champions and even at that Vettel was going to pass him eventually but even if he didn't 7th was good enough for Vettel to retain the title
No be only danfo na keke napep! Dey there dey believe fallacy! That Ferrari car was the most reliable car this season and its straight line speed higher than the RBR's

Alonso is slowly turning Ferrari to a joke! What a disgrace! A bit suprised it took this long but How low can this ninja get? First it was the Kobayashi incident now this! Thank God they have no case as onboard cameras show a marshal waving the green flag on that lap. I hope there is a rule that allows for a fine for such false alarms and time wasting tactics. Can't deal with these injuries men simply can't deal with it. Now there is the probability of risking Big Ben's life on Sunday by having him play against Ravens. Frankly I wouldn't have him play on Sunday we could lose and he still gets hurt and maybe winds up done for the season
Too bad we are stuck with QB's who can't throw past the line of scrimmage. And RB's who can't avoid fumbling the damn ball.

debosky: Didn't RDM lose to West Brom and draw with Swansea? The slump had started before Benitez left.
Draw with Swansea away? Big deal! Did they win there last season? Last I checked only Man U have won there among the so-called big teams
They lost at West Brom last season as well. Even with the loss they where only 3 points behind Man U so yes they where still in the race. Anyway never mind me truth is they are still in the race technically at least

nateevs: I agree with this. The further we are away from goal, the less chances we create.
We create far few chances ordinarily than to sit to deep.

Although we had a good start to the season, I never thought we were in the race.
It's a season to rebuild. What scares me now is the possibility of 10 drawss.

Now 'fans love him' is the way to measure a striker's performance, not his contribution to goalscoring! cheesy cheesy cheesy
Let's keep it a 100 here. Who was Drogba prior to Chelsea?? Just one good season at Marseille before joining Chelsea he wasn't even top scorer in France
Didier Drogba = Olivier Giroud without the golden boot sef but with some UEFA Cup experience surely you can't compare his pedigree then to that of Torres
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 2:09pm On Nov 28, 2012
Heynckes would probably go with Tymo and Martinez. Tymo would most likely sit at the back anyway which would allow Martinez roam forward. I also would like to see Shaqiri start this game let's leave Ribery fresh for Dortmund
Freiburg would be tough. Really don't look forward to visiting the Black Forest
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m):
An interesting conundrum for tonight's game do you leave Schweini who is one yellow card shy of a suspension and could potentially miss the Dortmund game?? With Gustavo out Martinez and Tymo are the only options at DM/CM wouldn't trust Kroos in that double pivot
Mandzukic should probably start with Gomez or Pizarro to come on if things get thick

Dortmund drew at home and Schalke even lost so a win today would extend the lead at the top to 11pts
Enzo would have fired anyone trashing his cars, sadly Ferrari has been taking it from Alonso from day one.

Ferrari degraded its name by signing on the crook.
I think they fell for the fact that he beat a Schumacher that was 35/36 at the time. He is good but a whinger and moaner nonetheless. They thought he would probably be the next Schummie boy where they wrong
For a fact, someone who couldn't win by going into final races leading (07, 10) is expected to win when he's trailing?
Could not get past Vitaliy Petrov for goodness sake!! This is supposed to be the best driver since Schumacher
And he could not even outdrive his teammate and was behind Button and Hulk simply cos he couldn't master the conditions and pitted more than them. Remember Senna Donnington 93?
Dude qualified 8th in a race he needed to win and then drove poorly throughout. Only made the podium cos of Massa and Hamilton's unfortunate retirement
Ferrari hires drivers to drive and win, not quote samurais and wish bad luck on rivals and wait for hand me downs and trash its cars.
Ferrari reduced to doing rain dances at Interlagos. Smh
Schumi won against Newey cars. Vettel to Ferrari is the only solution. i am tending to believe that alonso is part of their problem. many say that he is a lot better than flip (i am not one of those), but look how in the last few races, flip has been faster. the car is basically good, but it seems that alonso is not adapting to it well enough, even though he gives the impression of extracting all from it. flip can extract more.
Lol people think Schummie was just a racer he was waaay more than that. Dude was a master strategist and I'm yet to find a driver that worked with the team technically as much as he did and is largely the reason why Ferrari is the institution it is today.
i admire Ferrari, but their continual complaints this year over anything and everything, is doing them a lot of harm. Massa looked better in the car than Alonso to end the year. You have to be careful listening to Alonso or Ferrari. They yell a lot of things into the air in hopes they stick. Matter of fact they are already yelling that they will give Alonso the car he needs. No mention of Massa. They complained about DRS use for qualifying. It is now changed for next year. That should help them in qualifying.
They need to let them race if they want to do much better next year. Making the other guy uncompetitive hurts in the long run! Massa is a nice guy and deserves much better treatment than they are giving him
They had the most reliable car this season so let's see what they do next season.
Still can't look beyond Vettel and co. They are not going to start as badly as they did this season

debosky: The above two played to his strengths and he scored in 2 Euro finals, winning a golden boot. cool
Lol are you comparing 08 Torres to the carcass on display now??
He scored in the 2nd Final against a beaten Italian team that where down to 9 men!!
Torres of Euro 2012 = USA 94 Oleg Salenko

His only other 2 strikes where against the statistically worst team in that tournament! Ronaldo,Gomez,Balotelli's strikes where more meaningful
That is why Torres didn't sniff the 23 man team of the tournament even with his golden boot

What is Torres's strength?? What can you say he has added to his game since joining Chelsea?

debosky: This is part of the problem - if your rack your brains you might remember one pass, or two passes. Are y'all expecting 100% or even 50% chance conversion from Torres? Is that what other strikers produce?
Naaah that was me just hinting that Torres has been assisted by Mata from open play. Hazard has done so too.
I just want to rubbish the notion that Hazard and Mata are conspiring to starve Torres of goals. These guys are not selfish players as their records show. At the mo methinks the MAZACAR train is on E. And maybe these players need to find a way to recharge their batteries! With the way they started its no suprise they've burned out a bit

Back to Torres I think the biggest thing everyone is leaving out especially the pro-Torres camp is the fact that this dude is simply not the player he was at Liverpool (could it be he moved to the wrong club? Could it be his rash of injuries in the 09-10 season? Could it be his loss of confidence? Could it be that he has simply refused to adapt to his new environment)
Lethal acceleration missing,Killer first touch missing, let's face it this goes beyond Mata,Hazard,Oscar. Torres has regressed!

hercules07: Abeg Sharrap there, we had the worst of the cars out of the top three and the guy still came within 4 points of winning the championship, we might have to move
Grosjean to our side so he can take your man out more smiley
Abeg make I hear word bo! You Alonso fanboys are full of excuses!! What baffles me is the new found love and sympathy for Alonso who for all his talent is still the dirtiest player in the game. He used to be the most hated but I guess he isn't on top anymore so people need someone else to hate
You failed to mention the most reliable car. If not for reliability issues with the Red Bull and McLaren this title race would not even have been close. You need to tell your man to do much better at qualifying. And Ninja please the Ferrari was faster than the Lotus waaaaay faster
Tell your man to take a paycut as that would go a long way to developing a competitive car grin grin I heard he gets 30million Euros a year! with that money he shouldn't complain even if he gets a Mini Cooper grin

hercules07: Ferrari have not been able to build a very good car, the lotus reanault has been a fantastic car (not doubting Kimi's Skills) and was in no way inferior to the Ferrari, Michael Schumacher (an Idol) moved out of the way for Vettel, Webber too would have been moved out of the way, that is the way it should be, if Massa had been competitive, Alonso would have used him to harass the Red Bulls, a performing team mate takes away point from potential rivals, anyway, next year is another year sha,
How would Massa be competitive when he is not allowed to race? Being used as a racing guinea pig. Compare the RBR's,McLaren's and Renault's they allow their drivers race! But Fernando has to be #1 wherever he is unless he throws his toys out of the pram. Even with that where it not for Massa the gap would not have been this close for Fernando to even stand a fighting chance
Remember
Gear-box gate?
Nelson Piquet intentionally being ordered to crash
And my personal favorite
"Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood this message?"

hercules07: if you are interested, there is a bet a friend and I have going on, each time a Ferrari is ahead of a Mclaren at the end of the race, he buys a wine and vice versa, wanna take a bet on the RedBull next year?
Let next year come first. I'm a betting man not a dumb one tho so I need to see how the cars are looking first
