I don't believe Uli Hoeness is that irresponsible! 25 million is too much for the chap! I'd rather go for M'vila

davidif: WOW!!!! IT SEEMS THAT THE LAKERS HAVE TAKEN THE WEST FROM US THEN.

IBAKA! YOU BETTER GO LEARN SOME POST MOVES FROM "THE DREAM" THIS OFFSEASON O. WE ARE REALLY GOING TO NEED IT BIG TIME.
Yeah the fact that they where able to keep Gasol kinda makes it mission impossible for the rest of the West.

Not just post moves but a reliable short/mid-range J that can neutralize shot-blockin.

@Royal
Deep down u know u are as excited as hell! If Dwight can drop the diva act he's been displayin these last couple of seasons then the Lakers are good

Whew that was too close for comfort! Just nicked it in the end! Everyone sorta ran out of steam as the match went on. However what I can deduce is Dortmund isn't giving up on their title without a fight!

Under 2 weeks to go. Plenty time to make moves and rectify things
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 9:23pm On Aug 12, 2012
Maybe its too early to say Chelsea has overpaid for Hazard but for 32 mil dude looked like a complete mug! Wondering why neither him nor Mata got substituted after the red card! They didn't do much all day

To be fair to Chelsea Ivanoviv's sending off was harsh

Halftime! Got off to the best possible start with 2 quick goals tho we sorta went off the boil later in the half but its allowed as Dortmund has asked no questions whatsoever. Dante and Mandzukic are looking like steals so far. We wouldn't lose too many games if we play this well

Gustavo and Can on bookings tho

O ma ti sele ooh! Dwight Howard does a Shaq and joins the Lake-show. We can now forget about the Heat as champions-elect. Barring injuries I don't see the Lakers not winning it all next year
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 11:07pm On Aug 09, 2012
dayokanu: The thing is Juup prefers Lahm on the right wing cos he believes he is more effective there especially behind Robben.
Another option that was tried is Gustavo as LB and Tymoschuk as DM
Dortmund is not the team to faff around with abeg! He should bring in Dante and move Boateng to the right that is better than the Gustavo option

I'm not in support of buying Song really not because I don't think he is better than Gustavo (he is but he is surrounded by defensive mugs I mean its damn near impossible to have defensive discipline when playing at a club that has none) but because we simply don't need him he would even have to go for CAN as well so buying him would be madness so would be paying anything over 20million for Martinez which by the way his coach Bielsa has threatened to resign should he be sold.

I heard Gomez would be out till October? Is that true? Mandzukic is lucky tho! Big chance to prove himself
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 6:34pm On Aug 08, 2012
That whole Spanish team stank

Hahaha is it that bad? The game is at the Allianz Arena which we have lost to em twice in a row never mind May 19. Something has to change tho and it starts Sunday. Who do you have playing LB with both Alaba and Contento out? I still suggest they pair Badstuber with Dante and move Lahm there

dayokanu: Mikel, Song I dont regard that high.

Martinez I havent seen long enough, De Rossis form has dropped in the last 4yrs.

Alaba was falling down and he had to break his fall before the dolt Kassai awarded a penner and yellow
Come on man let's keep it a 100! Gustavo is not as good as any of those guys I listed. I am not saying he can't wind up being better but presently they are not in the same league.

Lol come on u don't fall like that in the box 18! Key thing is his hands where away from his body

Enuff of this old stuff! How we dey negotiate Sunday? We have to beat Borrussia! O to ge! What lineup would u go with
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 12:41pm On Aug 07, 2012
Yup I give you that just that he was overpaid for which is my original point! He did foul Ozil in that Madrid game (a lot) not dangerous fouls but fouls nonetheless

The penalty was soft but I have seen them given! His hands where in a suspicious position to be fair to the ref

Lol has he scored for us sef? The average DM is usually poor in front of goal or even going forward. How many goals did Makalele or the legendary water carrier score. Me I don't hold that against him

Who are the top 5 DM in Europe BTW
In no particular order (Martinez,Busquets,Mikel,Khedira,Song,Gundogan,Arturo Vidal,Daniele De Rossi,Ricardo Montolivo) Baba dem yapa time and space no go gree me to continue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 11:44pm On Aug 06, 2012
dayokanu: In this current market can you define what overpaid is? We bought Gustavo for 17m. Martinez asking price is 40m

Can we say Martinez is 3 times better than Gustavo? Gustavo shut down Madrid effectively. I was watching the game with friends and no one can really say Gustavo was rough on Ozil

Everyfucking time he was always getting the ball first.

He was key to our game at the Bernabeu.

I dont think Martinez would put Gustavo in jeopardy cos 1. Schweinsteiger has been in and out of injury for the past one yr and not a guarantee. Secondly Tymoschuk and Gustavo are too limited attackingwise. Kroos is too lightweight to be the second midfielder.

This Schweinsteiger injuries might push us towards Martinez more and possibly push Tymoschuk out of Allianz.

Also there is our youth player 17yr Emre Can. He was a star in the last FIFA U-17. He can also get some minutes here and there
Come on Gustavo is an average joe! Would u lost him among the top 5 DM's in Europe? That Martinez is supposedly rated as 40million (which no one is going to pay anyway) doesn't mean Gustavo wasn't overpaid for
He did an excellent job on Ozil but I remember him fouling him a Iot! I stopped counting at 8. There's a reason why he missed the final and obviously used as the sacrificial lamb
Schweinsteiger isn't a crock these injuries are exceptions not the norm so I feel he would come back what I worry for is his form and fitness
Martinez is not better than Tymoschuk or Gustavo by much and also Tymo can play CB so I am sure there would be a role for him
Sports › Re: NBA. . . Represent Your Team by A40(m): 11:08pm On Aug 06, 2012
davidif: Why didn't we make any adjustments throughout the gamehuh? We should have keyed in on them and chase them off the three point line. Goodness! what awful coaching!!! why didn't we hire an American coach like Mike D'Antoni, Larry Brown, Don Nelson or even Phil Jackson (hahhaha)?
That team overachieved by even qualifying for the Olympics in the 1st place. The allocation for the entire ministry of Sports in 10 years cannot pay their salaries
The USA game was a disgrace tho
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 10:56pm On Aug 06, 2012
dayokanu: I have a feeling we would still make a late move for Martinez or another Central midfielder.
That would prolly put Gustavo's position in jeopardy! Still think we overpaid for him. He did do a decent job on Ozil in the UCL semis that's his high point but he was lucky cos a stricter ref may have sent him off

dayokanu: The 2 Euro cup losses to Czech and Denmark were bad too because they were to minnows. The 1976 loss broke the german dominance of the 70's And the 1992, I fully expected Germany to win.

You sure about the twitter parole?

tkb don yarn am before but I no believe
I think one can only attribute what happened in 92 to fate. I was a bit too young to expect anything from Germany then but it was just meant to be for Denmark

dayokanu: Thomas Muller's major issue is that he is always being tossed around. He is our deputy right winger when Robben is injured, Deputy Left winger when Ribery is injured, Deputy attacking midfielder when Kroos is injured. He gets tossed everywhere and he is humble enough not to complain.

I think this thing is not only with this generation even the Breitnigge generation Rummenigge and breitner lost 2 CL finals to Aston Villa and FC Porto in games they completely dominated, They lost world cup finals in 1982 and 1986 to Italy and Argentina

Contrary to popular believe Germany is one of the least clinical countries in the world

Bayern has lost 5 CL finals 4 of which they dominated completely (1982, 1987, 1999, 2012) even 2010 to a large extent

Germany has lost 3 World cup finals and 3 Euro finals(Cezch, Denmark and Spain 2008)

I am sure Robben would give himself brain and move away from penalties

I am not on twitter so I dont know if bayern has an ID, It would probably be in German though
Well i think thats because he has not established himself in one position. Truth is his form has also kinda dropped which is why he is being tossed around. I think those losses where not as agonizing as these ones except for the Argentina one

Lol i thought i was the only one that observed that misconception. Germany has actually lost 4 World Cup Finals and three Euros. I think why Germany is so respected is because of what they do with limited resources, German players are not the most technically gifted in the World but they get the utmost from what they have regardless. Since 82 Germany has only failed to reach the Semis of a World Cup twice. Thats an astounding record anyway you look at it

You aren't on Twitter?? Omo de yan pia ni be ooh! grin grin

davidif: Have you watched the video yethuh You said the Heat played "hard" that's why i sent you the video. If you watched the video, you would know how inaccurate and funny that statement is.
Dudie Pause! When i saw Skip Bayless my default reaction was to say what i said . They had a smaller lineup and still outrebounded y'all, scored more points in the paint and forced more turnovers. I won't even mention the fact that some of their players (Wade,Bosh,Miller) all played with injuries. I guess your definition of "playing hard" is much different from mine i would love to know what it is

Massa has always been a sitting duck to be honest. Besides 08 when he ran Hamilton close he has not offered much else plus his car crash has hardly helped him.

Beaf: The most useless WDC's in living memory:

1. Jacques Villeneuve
2. Jenson Button
3. Sebastian Vettel

Living memory is defined as the last 15 - 20 years.

https://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w275/oesinorden/c650.gif
Arrrrrggggh not this nigga again!! You even include Jacques Villeneuve in ur list of useless WDC that says it all! By the way Vettel hating in full-effect i see. Try as you may to sound objective your Beaf for Vettel always shines thru! Isn't this what i was chastizing you over last season? Thank God you have openly admitted he is useless which vindicates me. Anyway haters gonna hate

omar22: Lewis was the last driver to win a WDC with a RACING CAR!!!!

No diffuser
No Kers
No Mass Damper
No Flexible wings
No Engine Mapping
This argument never ceases to annoy every fiber of my being! It isn't like all the other drivers don't have rights to these technologies

I like Hamilton he is one of those guys that makes F1 enjoyable though i wont put it past him to phock up tomorrow! I see my boy Vettel finishing at least 2nd! Watch this space

justwise: [/b]

It doesn't need to be drastic, finishing outside point position 2 or 3times will change the game
Thanks for pointing that out! Its not over by a long shot

MRbrownJAY: i am also not too pleased that Alonso is fighting at the top with the RBRs at the moment, i would rather it is Ham, as i certainly believe that he is the better driver ....... now imagine if yesterday's race started with Alonso and Ham on pole?! then we would have seen some fantastic driving skills/ manœuvres.

its still mid championship and the lead is only 34pts (Webber) and 44pts (vettel), one DNF and it will all be gone, Alonso/Ferrari needs to keep the pressure and the car in tip top shape!

now all the Alonso doubters should think about this thought for a minute: many came within DRS distance of Alonso yesterday, yet none could overtake him. we can NOW confirm that Ferrari got the car that could possibly win this championship. although it hasnt got the extra edge of the 2010/2011 RBR it certainly has a better skilled driver, lol!
Ham is too emotional and sometimes just tries too hard thats what separates him from Alonso who is a cold hearted killer. He has an average car but would rather drive it to the ground than play damage control

dayokanu: I am thinking Shaqiri would push several of our first teamers. Shaq looks like a strret footballer and he is still young.

This is the season our boyz need to prove themselves

Losing 2 finals in 3 years. They need to win something
Not seen a lot of Shaqiri but i can tell he is still raw he would come good tho. Its Tommy Muller i really want to see make that step up

I was going to talk about that. What do we do about this close but no cigar niggas?? Cos its hard to buy or even teach killer instinct. You either have it or you don't. This is arguably going to be the toughest UCL yet.

I have a few suggestions tho. Robben should not be designated spot-kick taker and Van Buyten should never feature in an important game lol

What's Bayern's id on Twitter!! Not sure there's much of a presence there

GK Neuer has Starke, RB Lahm has Rafinha, LB- Alaba has Contento (Both young but there are no quality LB in the market), CB Boateng and badstuber have Dante and vanBuyten(hopefully would never get to him), CM- Gustavo has tymoschuk, CM2- Schweinsteiger has Kroos, Wingers Robben and Ribery have Shaqiri and Muller, AM- Muller, kroos, Shaqiri, Striker Gomez, Mandzukic and Pizarro
