dadicvila: and whats wrong with relying on those two guys??
Lol what a question!!

I am a bit worried about the Mannschaft i hope this would not be another yet so close but yet so far moment! Especially with this recent UCL loss

Anyway we know who should be leading the line and that wont be Mario Goal-miss
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 8:23pm On May 23, 2012
dayokanu: Let him move to Inter Milan after signing an extension last week and play in the Europa cup

With Sneijder its a case of misery loving company. He needs someone to join him play in the Europa cup

Is he the first footballer that would be booed?

Ironically the same person complaining about ppl jeering Robben wont go a day without slagging Gomez
The Dutch are not the most mentally strong people in the world especially when it comes to footie! Their track record says it all! Ronaldo was booed after the 06 WC and went on to become one of the best players in the world. My question is why is a left-footed Dutch man the designated spot-kick taker at a German club??

toba: this is pathetic cos if Gomez had scored one goal from the numerous he missed against madrid and chelsea, may be bayern might have won both games before the penalty shootout.

If oli khan stupidly conceded a goal at the WC final and also in 2004 UCL when bayern was leading Madrid 1 nil, when he allwed R.carlos ball to pass under him didnt get jeered and booed, then it would be unfair to boo the most valuable player at bayern right now. He scored the vital penalty that ensured bayern beat madrid in semi final
Robben is fast becoming one of the biggest chokers in Sports! He needs all the booing he can get
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 3:04pm On May 20, 2012
Oluwa was definitely involved last night. You kinda knew that after Robben's miss
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 3:01pm On May 20, 2012
Passed out and woke up at noon-time after Drogba's penalty went in

U have to wonder Who is the biggest choker in professional Sports today is it Lebron James or Arjen Robben? I've never seen such highly rated players consitently fail to deliver when it matters most

Robben: Bald,over-rated,overhyped piece of $hit!!

All in all Bayern have no one to blame but themselves! I saw Van Buyten coming on after the goal and i just knew something bad would happen! Not like he was at fault for the goal but some people just get bad luck like that. Such wastefulness by the front four the likes of which may never be seen again in football

@Dayokanu
I hope you now see why Mario Goal-miss has no business leading the front-line of the Mannschaft at the Euros let him come from the bench
Someone please tell the Clippers that when you are playing in the playoffs and you lead by as Much as 24, you don't go to bed. Not when you are playing against the Spurs
Funny enuff they benefited in the 1st round from the same thing against the Grizz

I always knew the Clippers one-dimensional offense would come back to hurt em. Young talented bunch but with no one that can consistently create their own offense they would always struggle against the Spurs who have silently gotten younger.

Andrew Bynum has been the biggest letdown this post-season tho
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 9:58pm On May 12, 2012
There isn't time to moan about this loss abeg! Chelsea aint half as good as this Dortmund team plus they don't have any recognizable CB ready for the final! Losing to em at the Allianz would be tantamount to sacrilege! May the spirit of 01 guide this Bayern team and may Gomez not squander a freightliner of chances like he did in that semi
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m): 9:48pm On May 12, 2012
Come come come make una no try this nonsense next week oh! My oga na Chelsea fan and I don follow am bet almost half my May salary! Seriously tho this Dortmund side are sumn else! If they can be preserved from poachers I am very sure they would make some noise in Europe. And to think they finished last in Arsenal's group. Tho inexperience was probably why they stumbled! I gotta say Lewandowski is a gem! Bayern need to steal that dude

REALITY101: Celtics and Heat gone be a nice ish to see. As for Mavs cheesy cheesy cheesy
The team was a tad too old!! I still blame Mr Cubano for not making that trade after the All-star break! What did he really expect from the team??

Its really a shame to see how the Bulls have sunk even with guys like Deng,Boozer,RIP Hamilton,Kyle Korver and Joakim Noah they still cant step up in the absence of Rose
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 7:41pm On May 07, 2012
@Ibime
Na oversabi dey koba u!! Haba since when did it become compulsory for all central midfielders to have technique?? How can you even say he lacks technique?? Even after clarifying what his role should ordinarily be and you are still yarning megedefegede! How skilful or technical are the likes of Scott Parker even Michael Essien was never known for his skill or technique ditto Suley Muntari!! The fact is he is still a work in progress i am not even a fan but for you to suggest that he can never suitably play that central midfield role is utter Ludacris
Sports › Re: NBA. . . Represent Your Team by A40(m): 8:02pm On May 06, 2012
I predict a Celtics vs Heat Final out East

As for my Mavs i really wasn't suprised how this season turned out! We went out like the 06-07 Heat to a younger and hungrier team. After losing guys like Barea,Chandler and DeShawn Stevenson we replace em with candy asses like Vince Carter and drama queen Lamar Odom (Biggest bust of the season) I think the way forward is a total roster overhaul and only JET and Dirk Nowitzki should survive the sweey
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 6:45pm On May 06, 2012
Ibime: I dont owe him no apology.

He's been abysmal in central midfield.

RDM agreed with me that he can only perform on the wing or full-back and thats where he's been performing.

His pace and energy has been utilised on the wing (as I recommended) and his abysmal passing and stupid running away from the ball has been removed from central midfield (as I recommended).

You should be apologising to me for calling it right.
Nigga park well!! My point is simple! You have been his harshest critic and he has proven you wrong in more ways than one this season! He is not a possession type midfielder he is more of a box to box nigga who would fit in depending on the system in operation

Na this match gan gan dem dey call Eni Duro wo tan. I stopped watching at half-time cos i knew it was a hopeless case. Words cannot describe just how tactically bereft this Arsene Wenger has become! Even giving excuses about the pitch before a ball was kicked. The team lacked direction, intensity and simply did not show any respect for the fans that made the trip

Germany- Keeper Neuer, Ter Stergen I think they are covered

Defence this would be Germany's weakest point - Boateng, Mertersacker, Hummels, Lahm Badstuber, Howedes, Lahm

Lahm as Left back. is sealed. Right Back- Boateng and Howedes to fight it out They are natural Central defenders and would "manage" as Right back

Central Defence - I would go with Hummels and Badstuber

Midfield is where Germany has a glut of talents Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Kroos, Gotze, Ozil, Reus, S. Bender, Lars Bender, Podolski, Muller,

Striker- Klose and Gomez are in form this season and should deliver
Would Gotze be back for the Euros??

AjanleKoko:
Let's do it like this, guys.
Too early to talk about who will win. Let's look at the big names, and see how their big names are squaring up.
E,g Spain. Yeah, we know they are the favourites . . . but are they really? Villa is out with a broken leg and will probably suffer from match-rustiness. Torres is . . . well, Torres. It may well be that Valencia's Soldado and Bilbao's Llorente will be the men up front this term. Germany and Holland may well have their measure in this year's competition.
That their group is quite tough! Equally as bad as Group D. I think it boils down to that all important first game against Italy anything short of a win and that could spell trouble. With that being said no one has been able to defend the Euros successfully and its hard to see Spain bucking that trend

I like the Mannschaft's chances although thats hugely down to how quickly they sort out that defence. They are a team that can go all the way

Holland's defence is also too weak inasmuch as i like watching them play its tough to see them going all the way

Watchout for France too! They are the darkhorses that might spring a suprise
