Tarpolin is better than concrete pond because,
1. It is less expensive
2. Easy to wash unlike concrete if u wash, it can lead to u repairing it.
3. It is movable. It can be move from one place to another unlike concrete which cannot.
And so many other reason which I can't remember now due to my present state(tired)

You are welcome on board. PG is very tiny and whitish in colour. The process is tedious can make u waste ur money and time if care is not taken. Go for Overprim Injection. Saline solution is advisable since the water is properly processed. Meanwhile, u can still use salt and boiled water too. As regards seminar rob, aquatic and excel should be able to update u about that. Cheers mate

omode2: what do u suggest on pond fertilisation i learnt it may result in algae boom wc causes o2 depletion. D pond i just constructed is nt in swampy area or close to a river bt i intend to use well water water to fill it usin water pump.

Use salt to fertilize ur pond. Try and be using water pumping machine to pump out water at least every 2 weeks, it will make them stay healthy and eat very well. Before 2 weeks that u will change their water, try to pump fresh water from the well on them once in a while at least every 3 days. It will aid them to swim very well, eat very well and grow very well. Make sure the pond have outlet that the polluted water will pass through when pumping in fresh water.

It shows water is not entering into the pond very well. If the green algae is too much, it can reduce the 0xygen(02) in the water which may result in your fish dropping. Also, d green water shows that the water is somehow polluted due to their excreter, urine and the left over feeds which release oil in the pond. If not probably handle, you may have a major crisis in the pond. I don't know the type of earthen pond u used maybe flow through method or u make use of borehole but u sure need to allow water into the pond so that they can eat very well n also enhance their growth. Also, because you are feeding with floating feeds, always use on a spot feeding method and make sure it is closer to the outlet, do not over feed, make sure u take your time in feeding them (systematically). Over time, I've observed that d green water affect the growth of fish. Avoid it.

nne4: For the first time l saw Zeigler feed today bc they said it is not always in d market.l bought a bag for #4,600.pls @ robonski have u used poder feed bc i bought one(only available 2mm product they have)bag.ls the feed better than multi-feed.

Poder feed has about 50% crude protein. Nice feed but not as good as coppens.

You are right. If the depth or feet is deep, there will be no need for a cover. My fish perform very well even without any cover.

Wonderful Doctors, Please I've been having problem with my ear for a while now. It all started when I tried cleaning my ear and I didn't know how I do it until I saw blood on the cotton bud. I can hear but only felt there is something sounding in my eardrum which maybe a result of olive oil that I put then. Now, my ear itch inside and I feel like scratching it and the sound still persist in my ear. During the day, I feel a lot better but at night, it is something else. Please and please, what can I do?

I don't make use of plastic pond but I can advise u to construct a polythene pond. It will be able to house 500 fish or more depending on its size. Your fish can do well without an aerator but the most important thing is that u make use of flow through method whenever there is light. Hope that helps?

Both ponds are good. Space is the most important thing to consider when u want to make use of either of the two. A lot of fish farmer will tell u that rearing fish in earthen pond is better than concrete pond but they may not be far from the truth. But I tell u dat, ur fish can do better in any kind of pond u make use of. I have stated in the secret in my earlier post and I'll state it again. Space, water mgt, good feed formula, passion for it are no doubt the secret behind fish farming.

I wonder why people take everything with levity. It is a spiritual attack and I will state ways in which you can contact it.

Firstly, if u r a womaniser; u can contact the problem from a women mostly who are possessed.
Secondly, some spiritual stuff can be placed on ur cloth to make u betwet, the person who do it maybe someone who is close to u, who u might probably have offended. He or she see that as a way of punishing you.
And the third way in which you can contact it, is from a spiritual attack they mostly do that to destroy the destiny of an individual and to disgrace him or her.

Am not forcing anyone for the seminar its your wish, if am not giving out what I know for free, and you know you need my idea to get yourself up, I don't see a big deal paying a token to get the idea, atleast its not internet transaction its what you will see with your eyes.

I've no motive or whatsoever. At the beginning of this thread, I asked few questions from Robonski and he answered me nicely and he does not ask me to come for a seminar before giving me an answer. I don't need to visit your farm to get an answer to my question. I hatch every now and then and I still do it again today. Not a big deal. I believe a simple question deserve a simple answer.

I bet to disagree with the fact that you said I should stop being childish. I don't think I've said anything to warrant that. We are here to teach one another and intending fish farmers. I don't think I have so far advertised on this thread or on nairaland as a whole. If everyone of us, start organising a seminar do u think this thread will get to where it is today?
