If actually Douglas Road generated this level of waste in less than 6 hours, then it is a miracle. Even Lagos cannot perform that feat. |
atlwireles:We screamed then about his impunity but you chose to keep deaf ears. Everyone knows Amaechi recommended Justice Agumagu while Jonathan needed to install someone loyal to him. If Buhari was like Jonathan, he could have used his power as President and equally nominated someone loyal to him instead of Wike and the same cycle continues. Jonathan was a very useless President. http://www.punchng.com/politics/2015-jonathan-amaechi-feud-cripples-development-in-rivers/ http://m.thenigerianvoice.com/news/158097/1/rivers-judiciary-crisis-engineered-by-presidency-a.html http://leadership.ng/news/386007/rivers-judicial-crisis-hold-nothing-okocha-amaechi |
Silly post. Jonathan used federal might to frustrate judiciary in Rivers State and you accusse Amaechi. If Buhari was like Jonathan, the issue would have continued till date. |
asha80:I guess you have not followed my stand on that bridge. My stand has always been same ever. Follow the link I posted on the topic about Niger bridge collapsing. https://www.nairaland.com/1966199/niger-bridge- shaking/3 Here's my contribution on that topic. Lol! Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial President but the Prime Minister was Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. I only wrote that as a response to the tribalist who wanted to blame Northerners. Amaechi the other day listed what Northerners did in Rivers State and it cannot be disputed. My take is that y'all should stop creating North/South dichotomy and face the real issue. I want Igbos to build that bridge without being ridiculed by Jonathan or whoever is in charge. I will personally donate 10million and I expect other Igbos to do alike according to their capability. We can raise the money in one month. |
HopeAtHand:It is annoying when you insult Igbos because of few people who are oblivious of reality. Igbo actually needs nothing from Ikwerre other than the misunderstood language affiliation. Igbos as a result of very diverse origin and spoken dialects generally believe every Igbo speaker is an Igbo man. And for your information even Owerri, Okpala, Ngor and Ohaji people still call other Igbos Isoma like your Ikwerre but we call other Igbos but Egbema onyeigbo including your Ikwerre. |
B2mario:Let those who want to lie to themselves keep up with the delusions. Those same people have refused to acknowledge the level of change we have suddenly experienced in Nigeria in less than 100 days or sometimes find one way or the other to associate the success in power and oil sector to Jonathan. Even if all of Imo State is paved with gold, they will ask why not platinum. |
chino11:You are still living in dreams. By the time you wake up, the world must have left you behind. I feel happy each time I am vindicated. Everything I wrote during Jonathan regime are still there undone but you are still sleeping. This same bridge you are suggesting I be killed for was ignored by Jonathan and Buhari is about doing same. Now I should be killed for suggesting we do it ourselves. |
FreeGlobe:The guy was very wealthy anyway. I think he swelled his pocket during his years in aviation but don't get me wrong he has been rich for long. |
OGOg:Not Anambra government. All of us Igbos in Southeast can build it without Government. I personally have decided thst I will contribute 10million Naira whenever Igbos face reality and decide building that bridge. Buhari might eventually build it but he cannot continue to ridicule us when we can do it ourselves. |

Igbonazy:Finally you guys are getting your heads back. I made this exact remark around 2012 and several more times during which Jonathanian Igbos attacked me. Igbos can build that bridge easily if they face reality like I've done long ago. |
Duru1:You are stupid. Because it is not your dialect does not make it Ikwerre. It could be from Arochukwu, Ohafia, Item, Ohaji, Egbema, Edda, Afikpo, Ezza, Mgbo, Izzi. In ikwerre it is Ameli. |
Someone warned earlier on that Fulanis would avenge the death of their cow but I never took him serious. |
Wrong information. Anambra and Imo are parent States of Enugu and Abia while Ebonyi was later created from Enugu and Abia. Study your history course. This is the 24th year if Awka as a capital city. |
BuddahMonk:Sincerely I view religion as fraud but if people want let them follow which ever fraudster they choose. The reason for all the wars is brainwashing of religionists. Bith Christians and Muslims share same trait but Muslims are more pronounced now because of events. Those religions believe only in themselves and nothing else. |
Ofodirinwa:There is nothing wrong with one being Christian, Jew, Muslim or Amali. If we want to reject religious programme s then we should reject all and not be discriminatory. Imo is a circular State and freedom of worship is allowed. |
NOBLEDANDY:List the Igbos in Abia who trace their root to Anambra. Abiriba, Ngwa, Ndoki, Asa, Ibeku, Ohafia, Oboro, Ohuhu, Isuikwuato, Aro, Igbere. |
fulanimafia:Ojukwu was not the cause of the unwarranted killing of Igbos. Biafra was a war of survival which has been misinterpreted till date. Ojukwu declared Biafra to save Igbos from being wiped off which he succeeded before becoming over ambitious. His only blame is in not negotiating and surrendering on time. To me Igbos won the war of survival but lost the war of seccession. So nobody actually lost. |
Igbos need all Nigerians and not just Ijaws to produce a Nigerian President from Igbo area. Ijaws as well as other minorities in the South abhor Igbo spirit of competition and hence try as much as possible to avoid the situation in the first place. The fear is that of being systemically overrun by the more aggressive Igbos even in their own land and hence anything to achieve that is acceptable. That trait is what Igbos need to work on to achieve even Biafra or gain political relevance in a united Nigeria. If you doubt me hold a referendum amongst the Southern minorities and compare with my hypothetical result. 1) 90 percent will vote to remain in Nigeria than join Igbo dominated Biafra. 2) 60% will opt for a country comprising only minorities while another 40% will still prefer to remain in Nigeria because they will become more pronounced minorities while new majorities emerge. 3) 90% will vote based on credibility than on ethnicity if an Igbo and a Northerner are the candidates for Presidential election. 3) |
Imo State only produces oil in 2 LGAs. Rivers State on the other hand produces in all LGAs. This is same with Bayelsa. |
mykl01:Could you please expantiate on the role and why Igbos never voted for him? |
NOBLEDANDY:You claimed fictitously that all Igbos originate from Anambra State thereby excluding all of Abia and Ebonyi States as well as parts of Imo and Enugu States who hold different view from yours. |
asha80:Same here. Its all consequences of useless politics. Remember when youths of Amawom and others besieged the original site at a more condusive New Owerri not knowing the motives of their sponsors. Egbu is a densely populated village and should not host such mall. However that was the only choice with regards to land availability or so they said. |
chino11:Obiano has not attended most Southeast meetings but has gone severally to pay homage to Buhari wearing Hausa attire. Just because you hate Okorocha cannot cover this truth. Okorocha was equally not invited to that meeting called by Obiano. |
NOBLEDANDY:Please in your quest to win arguments never attempt to distort history. We have treated the issue of Igbo origin. |
The caption of the thread is different from the actual news. Okorocha and the Southeast Governors already held a meeting with the President and the outcome was encouraging. All Igbos abusing Okorocha are stupid and shameless. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/08/govs-synergy-with-buhari-will-boost-seast-says-okorocha/ Govs’ synergy with Buhari will boost S’East, says Okorocha POLITICAL differences notwithstanding, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has urged his fellow governors in the South-East region to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and policies to move the zone forward. Okorocha, speaking Monday on arrival from Abuja, where the zone’s governors held a meeting with President Buhari, urged others to implement their agreement to support the President. “We are all determined to work with the President and he is also more determined to work with the South-East,” he said. “This whole imaginary worries is about what comes to the South-East. “We have been able to establish a very wonderful relationship with Mr. President and have been assured that the zone would not be left out of the whole political and economic equations.” Optimistic that the meeting would lead to development in the zone, he stated: “Whatever others enjoy we will enjoy. The President is a thorough Nigerian; he knows the country perfectly, having been on the seat before. Nigerians are happy that he is their President and the South-East wants to be part of the whole thing |
mykl01:Igbos have never voted their own including late Ojukwu who even lost in his home State all the times he contested. |
Only if you allowed people to vote and spared those innocent lives, there would be no need for this cry. I care less if anyone rigged in the last election but what of all those people you guys killed? |
