Hi. Please I got a PPR letter on Friday. I have booked tomorrow to submit my passport in person at VFS Lagos tomorrow (March 25, 2024). If I submit the passport tomorrow, what happens next and please when am I likely to be able to travel. I would love to book a flight ahead but wouldn't want a situation where the passport is not returned yet and the flight date has come. What's the most reasonable date to book flights if I submit tomorrow at VFS Lagos. Please mine is a closed WP not SOWP, sorry I'm posting here, closed WP forum is not active. Please anyone that can help with this question 🙏

Congratulations 🇨🇦🇨🇦..Please how many weeks did your application stay and also was your medical passes before your PPR request ? Thank

He uses Zenith bank , my other question is the deadline on the letter is 25th march (a week from 18th that's a week from the day the letter was sent) when is it too late to upload the statement? If I upload it on Friday 22nd March will it be late?

)

It’s never too late since you were given a 7 days ultimatum. And beside also do go ahead and submit the printed updated statement your husband printed on his app.. send via webform and any other means you have too.. don’t wait too much for the MBS cos since your husband isn’t around, it might take a whole lot before the bank respond to his request cos they will need to do some verification for diaspora customers.. I once worked with access bank before I left Nigeria and I know how all these verification works… just a piece of advice too but if they can assist send it before the due date then it fine

Scam....700k wat....fun kini
Application fee is 100CAD
Less than 60k naira

quote author=isangjohnson post=123496966]
I wish I could get direct information from the school but unfortunately the school admission department told me that the information could only be released to the student involved.
I really need to be sure that the agent is not playing over my intelligent having received admission processing fee of 700k.
All the mails from the school went to him and he then forward to my brother. I was not comfortable with this development. I thought all my brother's particulars including his email address was inputed while filling the form and this would've enable him (my brother) to get direct informations from the school via mail.
Naira debit doesn't work....try get a dollar card and deposit $115 and go ahead with your payment.
$150 CAD equals $115
Rate @aboki to purchase dollar is $740 per dollar.

Hope this helps

uote author=Kalclinton post=123498430]Hello everyone.

IELTS is not compulsory again cos Nigeria is an English speaking nation but I would advice you start the process of collecting your transcript

uote author=Laycoln post=123462811]

Thanks, I have processed my passport at the beginning of this month, which will be ready on June 29th, the only document I don’t have it’s the transcript and English IELTS
Only your bank can do that for you...
Maybe there's a limit to how much you can spend at once on the card

i am trying to buy a ticket with delta airlines and i'm getting a limit exceeded error on my prepaid dollar card
but the limit is clearly not exceeded
who can help me

Its something you can do yourself with enough research and online advice from people here...I will advice u to first look out for those that have gotten passport request and look for document they submitted so u can jot it down somewhere then you look for a school snf from there u are gradually starting cos that was the same way I did mine and it ended well.

Hi, Morning Nairaland.. Pls I’m trying to get to Canada with Students Visa, I don’t know where to start from, I don’t know if 7million Naira can get me to Canada as Student, I have been trying to get an agent but agent told me to pay 2.5million for a start to help me to process the application as student visa that i will pay the school fees myself when i get to canada, is there something i can do myself without the agent? I have been following this thread for sometime now everything just seems confusing

My people, I am still battling with payment, My GTB dollar card has refused to go through, I have spent more than 3k airtime in calling GTB and I even went to their branch to find out why but nothing good comes out.

I'm considering going to UBA to get their dollar card this morning. Please has anyone used a UBA dollar card to pay for an application of recent, and it went through? If yes, what is the requirement to get the card?

If there is any other bank dollar card that works seamlessly please suggest to me

Sterling Bank Works well for me...

Thank you…. I had to follow up with IOM Lagos cos they were annoyingly reluctant to transmit the result of my medicals after making me wait for almost a month to do the medicals….
I sent a mail to the embassy a day to my IME deadline asking for an extension and also explaining the delay. Then I went back to IOM on the day of the deadline, waited till they finally uploaded it…..

Please can you assist on where to direct my mail for extention of ime..I just did medical today and was advice at iom to send a mail to ircc...pls can you share me the email address .

Hello, I’m planning to start my study permit process for my self and visitor visa for my wife and baby. I have paid a tuition deposit of $10k and a closing balance of 11m which is equivalent to $30k.
Please, do you think this will be enough for proof of fund or am I eligible to start the application with my family?

Bro if you do ur calculation very well,$30k CAD is too small for ur living expenses with family.
Ur own living expense for a year is 10k
I would advice you to gather enuf cash for ur pof to the tune of 30m and that will help a lot.

Hi everyone. Please I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this question. As regards the Nigerian Student Express (NSE) study permit option which requires a minimum of 30,000 CAD on ones bank account to cover first year tuition and living expenses , IELTs and upfront medicals. Does someone who has paid his full year tuition fee upfront but has about 18000CAD in bank account and additional financial funding support from his/her Canadian university also qualified for it?

Yes

I checked my profile, and I saw this in the eligibility stage:

Does that mean that my eligibility has started? Because I did not get any message from them.

Your eligibility is being reviewed already..Yes. It probably means a VO picked up your application and started working on it.

Use a different browser such as opera mini nd make sure it’s up to date. Then for your adobe reader check if it’s up to date u might have to do a subscription to enable it I had to do that during my time. But I didn’t have this ur issue tho
If you can show what the screen says or look like, might be able to help better[/quote

Kindly have a look at my screen to see where I am and what can be done. It keep saying this is an encrpyted document and hence few tools might be disabled.
