Because of your political ambitions, you preferred to stay silent and give calamity a chance rather than rebuke it..............Political ashawo 7 Likes 1 Share |

zombieHUNTER: You're still missing the point, what are you willing to do to make sure a righteous person gets there? You keep shouting Yoruba people as if no Igbo or SS or Northerner voted for them. I've given you the recipe for getting your person there, it is up to una to use wisdom and apply it. GreaterFuture: How's this objective and not subjective? So you mean irrespective of educational level, professional experience and expenses, the definition of a high payig job should be the same? So you mean give two people 2 million Naira per month, one is able to maintain a small family, live within his/her means and invest while the other gives birth to 4 kids, carry oloshos and spends way above his means. You mean the definition of high income is the same for both of them and not subjective? No be juju be that? 2 Likes |

Gerrard59: I agree to an extent, the USA also has high underemployment rate or even unemployment rate outside of the bullshit figures the government puts out. In the real world, people are going 6 months to over a year before getting another job after being fired or quitting. The problem with Nigeria is not enough companies and not enough innovation. The USA had to go through a period of great depression which forced it to change the way people lived and earned. The private sector went through a complete rebuild and about over 10 government policies came into effect. During that time people hardly ate twice a day and basic things were considered luxury. If Nigeria is to develop and truly change, the government must rid itself of hardcore corruption and the people must change their mindset! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Do People Still Get High Paying Jobs Nowadays by abbey621(m): 3:26pm On Aug 17 |
Human beings always compariing nonsense......Some even dey use USD calculate, job wey you started for 70k 3 years ago and they now increased your salary to 150k, some mumu go convert am to dollars and expect the companies to increase salary to something suitable in USD. ......No be juju be that? Is the company making twice as before in profits or you just expect it to perform magic? Let's all go back to common sense reasoning, high paying job is subjective, for someone earning 60k, 150k na very high paying job. For someone earning 150k, 500k na very high paying job and for someone earning 500k and above, 2 to 3 milla per month can be considered high paying, while someone in my condition won't even consider 15 milla as high paying. All in all, even if na 100k you dey earn, what matters are your expenses, more than 50% of all workers in Nigeria earn less than 150k per month, how dem dey do am? Figure it out and you'll discover the difference between knowledge and wisdom! 23 Likes 2 Shares |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Celine Dion Slams Trump For Playing ‘titanic’ Song At Rally by abbey621(m): 5:08pm On Aug 11 |
Y'all really think Trump controls the music at his rallies? This is another classic example of left wing desperation using cheap sentiments to portray a false narrative. Music such as this one has commercial license that cna be purchased from Sony itself, this is not an endorsement but permission to use the music publicly. Even Sony can't deny this, what they are probably against is playing the video and for some to get the worng message that Dion supports Trump! 1 Like |

Lawyer that does not know the difference between technicalities and outright wrong. Nigeria has always been a nation of medicine after death, so many lawyers and genuises but none of them noticed the ambuigity in INEC's operations guide and the Electoral Act until it was too late. The Einsteins of criticism would rather talk about blame and faults than to be proactive and point out errors before they occur......A nation full of saboteurs

The story long o but make I give you hint, from Shell being given the sole rights to drill oil to the eventual creation of NNPC and the bastardization of the refineries in the 1990s to complete dependence on importation of oil.......The West in conjunction with IMF would rather continue to give corrupt leaders loans in exchange for oil based agreements that ensures oil exportation and pertrol importation levels remains constant. The threat of having working refineries that would stop such agreement is tantamount to a declaration of war! |
Politics / Re: 10 Largest Refineries In The World by abbey621(m): 2:14am On Aug 07 |
PHAYOL81: Stop using Google AI and do actual research, bfore you shout misinformation, go back and read what I wrote, AS OF 2023, the daily consumption was over 60 million. Moving on, even if Dangote's refinery could work at full capacity for the whole year, it still would prefer to sell its product to international clients than Nigeria. Remember this is not a public/government owned refinery. Lastly, let's even assume you're right and that single refinery along with the local options could cater to both Nigerians and international clients, WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT STILL SPENDING 1 BILLION MONTHLY ON PMS IMPORT? Either your data is incorrect or the government sabi pass you. Either way do more research man, you clearly don't understand the difference between capacity and actual output! |

lovinhubby2wife: So you believe a refinery is supposed to work at 100% capacity and that a country like 9ja would use it all just to service Nigerians? Una funny on this site o 1 Like |
Politics / Re: 10 Largest Refineries In The World by abbey621(m): 10:26pm On Aug 06 |
PHAYOL81: Nigerians consume about 60 million liters per day as of 2023, that's approximately 400,000 barrel of oil per day. If Dangote's refinery is only producing 600,000 barrels per day, what will it do with it's obligation to refine oil for international clients? Even if efficiency was increased to 100% WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE as the best refineries in the world only operate at 80 to 90% capacity). How much of that 600,000 barrels per day will go to Nigerians rather than international clients where more money is made? Whether we like it or not, we need at least 3 of such refineries to reap full benefits! The U.S has over 130, U.K has at least 6 and South Korea at least 5.........What makes you think one refinery can service Nigeria's oblgations? |
