givedemwotowoto:Bunch of hogwash, Tinubu was never busted for drugs, the entire premise of his case comes from his role as an accountant, he was a money washer, if you know what that means then you know his entire case with the feds was about illicit funds and money laundering. There was no need to escape abroad because it was basically a level 1 case and similar cases resulted in forfeiture not jail term at the time. Ask yourself this simple question, why would the feds return 70% of the money they seized back to him? The charges he was facing were 1) Money laundering (18 U.S.C. § 1956); 2) Using funds from unlawful activity (18 U.S.C. § 1957); 3) Bank fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1344); 4) Failure to file tax returns (26 U.S.C. § 7203); 5) Lying to federal agents (18 U.S.C. § 1001); and 6) Conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 371). Does that look like a drug indictment? Go and watch the series Ozark, you would undertsand the role of a money washer better! |
Don't y'all realize this is the only way she stays relevant? She'll never become the PM and the conservatives will soon toss her aside once she's done doing their bidding, stop giving this witch the attention she does not deserve! The colonizers will soon remind her of her monkey heritage, they never reason her side yet ![]() |
The news comes at a crucial moment for PSG, five days ahead of their Champions League round-of-16 second-leg match against Bayern Munich.Make una try read more than headlines abeg.....E GET WHY......Make some yeye people no use una brain ![]() |
Disenfranchised:As long as it is not your papa's or grandpa's money, your opinion is null and void ![]() |
Yeye smokers......This party no fit reach consensus lai lai......Las las na punches and slaps dem go use scatter this coalition, Nigerians look for your messiah elsewhere, these ones don cast ![]() |
Ironfaceman:Show me where this was written in history apart from interviews from those same village drunkards you mocked ![]() |
Bmaster:Youre right there needs to be transparency on what the subsidy gains is being used for. The reason we are still borrowing is because subsidy removal is a tiny piece of what is required to run the country. Did you look at last year and this year's budgets? Subsidy removal only lowers our operating costs, it does not remove it. For example the Nigerian budget is about 30 trillion Naira, subsidy savings would give about 10 to 15% of that, where the rest wan come from? Taxes, investments, etc., now look at the economy, no light, no security, does that look like a place that can generate enough funds to sustain a 30 trillion Naira budget? |
Bmaster:Yea just wave a magic wand and all these would be accompllished as if they are not dependent on the economy. USD to Naira cannot be 800 because our economy does not produce shin shin apart from oil. Petrol cannot be 350 because once again your country is relying on imports, even with Dangote we are still heavily reliant on importing and without subsidy, the true price becomes apparent. It costs Dangote more than 400 Naira per liter to produce what we consume, no way he would produce at a loss! Theories are sweet and if Tinubu actually wanted to be popular, he would leave subsidy and allow the country to continue in status quo, Nigerians love blindness and as long as things are mangeable nobody gives a flip about the future but as an accountant, T-pain just couldn't let it go, he had to reason like an accountant hence the reality shock most Nigerians are experiencing now! IT'S GOING TO GET MUCH WORSE BEFORE IT GETS BETTER! |
Pacesetter123:Does it need to be abroad before una get sense? |
Luckysbab:What does this have to do with growth? Telling women they should not be successful or display their success in order to attract men is pure foolishness! |
Luckysbab:Yes and she's a rising star in her field! |
Poverty oriented mindset, go abroad and see your mate own a full house with luxury car and a job that pays over 160 million Naira per year, naturally such a woman would marry a man in similar status or better.......Na poverty dey worry some Nigerian men hence why they get intimidated by a successful woman. |
He was a racist piece of shit but a great performer......RIP! |
Guy dodged a bullet, even if he ended up marrying her, he would never have control of his own home. Everybit of their business would be relayed to the parents and eventually when shit the fan, na trailer dem go use come pack their pikin and any children she bore ![]() |
grandsuccess:Bullshit...,,,It's no different than the flu shot which we take yearly over here, I've been taking flu shots for over 12 years now, nothing do me ![]() |
The problem is not borrowing but what is being done with the borrowed funds? The U.S borrows over 20 times as much as Nigeria but every single dollar must be accounted for! T-Pain and his goons are just borrowing as if it's monopoly money, the next governemnt is going to have a huge hole to dig out from whether it's 2027 or 2031.....GBESE! |
If the first 10 comment son this post represents the hope of Nigeria then we're COOKED! Reading and comprehension just dey collect left and right punches ![]() |
After the 2027 election some people will become poilitically dead, this ADC won't last beyond 2027 too many egos and if they lose, I anticipate 30 to 40% of the party would decamp to APC. The interesting thing here is how similar this is to 2019, will Atiku step down? Would Obi be vice presidential candidate? Perhpas a repeat of 2023, will Atiku remain adamant and would Obi leave again to contest elsewehere? Meanwhile the ones to suffer are the Nigerian voters, opposition that can't get its shit together means the incumbent gets a free stroll to victory.....SHAME! |
FreeIgboho:Why is the sky blue? Why is T-Pain still alive? Why is my aunty not my uncle? Dude you're asking funny questions . Gymnastics has more women in it than men even more skewed than soccer. US is not Nigeria, no male kid is ever thinking of soccer over basketball or American football, it's all about history and popularity. The same reason majority of 9ja kids are not thinking of tennis over soccer. It has nothing to do with masculinity. For US kids, it's about popularity and the chance to be like their idols, when it comes to soccer in America, you can't really find any idol because the sport is still young less than 35 years since it became mainstream but in basketball, you'll hear names like Wilt, Dr.J, Bird, Jordan, Abdul-Jabar, Mikan, Naismith and even some names going back as far as 80 years. |
FreeIgboho:Wetin concern USA with Nigeria? Even as a toddler in Nigeria, you're indoctrinated into soccer male or female, from watching to actual participation yet less than 20% of all females in 9ja actually plays or played soccer. Next, can you mention the non lucrative sport that is not dominated by women in the USA? Is it gymnastic? Athletics? |
FreeIgboho:How does that contradict what I just said, even with the initial government funding it is still not a lucrative sport for Americans unlike basketball and American football. The men will never forego these sports for soccer lai lai! |
FreeIgboho:I just explained it to you, men sport has many better and lucrative options while women sport the option is very limited. Even the most popular women sport which is gymnastic, na peanuts dem dey earn. |
FreeIgboho:Men have better sport to play, American players make more money in American football or basketball than they do in soccer. It's all about sponsors and the amount generated. In America, Messi or CR7 will never be as popular as Michael Jordan or Lebron ![]() |
DmonSlayer10:You're still not acknowledging the crucifix of the matter.....Whether it is one or 10 or even 10,000 people that repeated that line of no man's land, the group as a whole should have come out with a statement that rebukes it......You don't go to an event, your family insults the host and you expect it not to reflect on you! What would it cost Igbo leaders to debunk such statement? Rather, what we see is more fuel being added to the fire as evidenced by the last election, after winning the presidential votes in Lagos, una still use that tired line of Lagos na no man's land resulting in the overwhelming rebuff in the governship election. Further your issue of strength in numbers is laughable, we are talking about the mere chance to contest at a primary you're talking about actually winning. Like seriously? You've got to reach the table first before you can eat, in SE non Easterners won't even be allowed to reach that table! Okay even if politics na strength in numbers like you said, what of chieftancy? What of owning land? Over 80% of Eastern land is considered off limits to Yorubas or Northerners.....Where's the sense in that? Overall, respect is reciprocal, Lagos has been far more acccomodating to y'all than y'all have been accomodating to outsiders when it comes to political matters, |
DmonSlayer10:Respect means don't call a place no man's land and start chest beating that all the indigenes there are tenants while you and your people are there landlords. It's never done, not in China, Turkey, Russia or majority of European countries. The disrespect only fueled the disdain and if we're being honest, charity should begin at home right? When will a Yoruba person be allowed to contest for local government chairman of an Eastern state not to talk of governor? I mean if we're talking about living freely in the country and being seen/heard, what's good for the goose should also be alright for the gander! |
Europe you might be out of luck but in the US some states consider those who have been in a romantic relationship and living together for some years to be a couple and thus entitled to some form of asset splitting but becareful, the US has guns and many would rather kpai you than to let you have their assets ![]() |
Nobody should be shocked by this, even when Abacha died some people still sang his praise, e sure kpa when T-Pain's time is up, na one full week Nigeria go use mourn ![]() |
Yes some farm roads are like this, the community does not want urbanization, some even ride around in horses. Any attempt to raise taxes to fix roads and bring other goodies is immediately rejected......For places like this, it is not unusual to have a population of less than 500 people ![]() |
Omoawoke:Yes unless after afternoon prayers then next day or the person was on a journey. |
