Good morning all, please I would like to know the procedure for bachelors degree in Germany as I am looking at My daughter going for one there although she’ll be done with high school next year.
I actually wanted to go for my doctoral program and then they come later to join me thereby making it easy to start school there but getting the doctoral admission isn’t child’s play so I resorted to her going for Bsc. She wants to study mechatronics.
Please any advice?
Thanks |

WinnyNelly: Yes, you have to get a supervisor first by reaching out to the professors. Make sure that your research interest aligns with the professors own. I have and haven’t gotten. Please can I reach out to you? |

Wow! I have copied and saved this reply to read over and over again . You nailed it. I appreciate greatly!! Thanks super! BagOfSweets: Hey 🤠
1. Your PhD topic does not necessarily have to be similar to the master's thesis topic before you can be considered for a full funding . While some students may choose to continue working in the same field, others may decide to explore a new area of research for their PhD.
2. You can even get a straight PhD full scholarship without a master's degree but this can be very very challenging but NOT IMPOSSIBLE because some Universities and Funding Organizations offer direct entry PhD programs for exceptional candidates with a strong undergraduate academic records and research potential.
3. Nevetheles, no matter how different your MSc degree may be , you still have to align it with related programs , ie
*** MSc History .. PhD Political Science **""MSc Biology...PhD Biochemistry ****MSc Mathematics ..PhD Physics *** MSc Nursing ...PhD Public Health ...MSc Social Work...PhD Sociology /Economics
## Not MSc English ...PhD Psychology ## Not MSc Accounting ...PhD Nursing ##Not MSc Mech Eng.. PhD Fishery
3. IN SUMMARY , having relevant research experience, strong recommendation letters, and a well-crafted research proposal as well as outstanding CGPA are the springboard towards your full PhD scholarships .
*** You are good to apply .
Best Wishes 🙏 |

Please someone should help me please!! Abby212: Good evening all and happy new year, please I’m quite confused about something. Please does my PhD intended course have to be the same as my masters to get full funding?
I’m looking at getting funding for a PhD in clinical/social psychology with a masters in social work degree?
The main thing is the funding.
Thank you for your responses. |

Hey 🤠
Let her leave the family behind for now if she doesn't want to forfeit her PhD opportunity.
1. Good alternative, she can re apply with the kids without the hubby.
2. Better alternative, she can reapply with the youngest kid and leave the rest behind.
3. Best alternative, let her re apply alone .
4. If she want to go by all means with the whole family then she has to work on lot of things .
NOTE*****
Its not compulsory to quickly travel with your nuclear family , US embassy doesn't operate like the UK or Canada . She also need a good teacher to take her on with good communication gimmicks with the Consular .
Best Wishes 🙏 |

Good morning all, please what is your advice? A friend of mind got PhD assistantship at Kent State University and planning to go with hubby and two kids. She was denied first attempt as she told the VO that the husband would be taking care of the children while she’s studying but I told her to say the husband and kids are just going to help her settle in and would be back in 3 weeks. Please gurus, hope it’s ok to say that? Thank you |

Please how do I address this to the VO as I would not want to have issues with home ties. How else can I prove this? Or do I apply for them separately?

Good evening all, please I would need your suggestions. I am interested in furthering my studies in the US But I have a second class lower (2.44) which is quite low although I later went for a HND and came out with distinction. Most of the schools I'm seeing need 3.0 for CGPA. Please any idea of schools I can combine both certificates so I can apply for masters? Thanks |

Thanks dfanz: 1) Family ties as prescribed by SINP 2) For the nomination process, the timelines for EE and OID are similar, the difference is after you get the nomination. For Sask PNP EE, your 600 points is added to your federal EE profile then you get ITA, submit application and wait 6 months processing time. For OID, you take your nomination and then apply for PR outside of the EE system (It used to be a paper application but now there is an online portal for this). Wait times for OID are significantly longer, curently it takes about a year to get AOR/UCI, this is when the application journey starts so just imagine how long to PPR.
The verdict is if you are eligible for EE, go for it cos it's much faster. |

Age and no ties in Canada reduced it . Please how can I increase it? Thanks Allegory: Enter the pool as soon as you’re eligible. There are no downsides to entering the pool as soon as you can. A pnp could pleasantly surprise you. Last I checked , Sask cutoff was around 70. I don’t know if it has come down. Why is your CRS so low though, have you considered trying to increase it? |

Good morning all, please I need your advice. An electrical engineer with proposed CRS score 324. Although considering PNP Saskatchewan with 63 points score.
1) How can I increase my chances or do I submit like that as the occupation is in demand there. 2) Please I also need clarification on the Saskatchewan OID program. Is it easier and better than going through the pool?
Thanks |
