Sorry for the break in transmission
The pains subsided after the injection and everything went back to normal. At 34 weeks, I saw blood stain and was advised to go to the clinic whichh i did, I was checked and they said all was well but was asked to go for scan which I did the next day. The scan was done and was told everything was alright in there and my Edd was 24th of April.

On the 30th of March while taking my bath, i noticed some liquid came out of my body but assumed it was urine. After bathing, I bent down to wash my down below cos the discharge was too much that morning, I tried to dip my finger into my vagina to at least clean the area. While doing this, I noticed the discharge was sticky like cattarh, I quickly wash up and dried my body and was about to go out of the bathroom when something just told me to look down and there i saw the "show" on the floor. I wrapped it up in tissue and headed straight to the clinic with it(my pant was getting wet and had to use tissue)
I was checked but was told the cervix was still closed, I was told not to bother myself about anything since my all my edd was April ending, one of the scan gave me May 5 sef, they gave me cotton wool and told me to come back by evening if the water continues. I went back home to finish my chores before going out again but went back home early cos my pant was wet.
I waited for my husband to come back in the evening before going to the clinic and was checked again but yet the cervix was still closed, I was asjed if I was feeling any pain which I said no and we were asked to go back home and come back if anything changes.
The water kept on coming all through the night with little irregular pains (while all these was happening, i was begging God not to allow me give birth now cos i was just 36weeks and 6 days gone)
The next morning I called the matron to explain situation of things and she told me to come right away, I went and still nothing yet, my husband called her from work to admit me so I'll be properly monitored but I insisted that I'm alright and went back home. I bought food on my way home, ate and slept off with the pains.
By 2pm, I got up, took bike and went out to get some stuffs, by the time i got back around 3_4pm the pains was back to back all thanks to the aboki bike man(I still didn't believe baby was about to come with all the pains) by 5pm the contraction was 5minutes apart, i called the matron, she said I should start coming by 8pm. I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner with water gushing out at each contraction, I finished up and ate at the middle of each contraction.
My hubby came in past 7pm, I didn't tell him how I was feeling, he took his bath and ate. It was after he finished eating that I told him what was happening and he started shaking like jellyfish, I told him all was well and we headed to the hospital. We got to the hospital some minutes to 9p.m. I was checked and was told that I was 2cm gone but the cervix was thick so I was given drip and then I started vomiting, I vomited at each contraction.
By some minutes to 12a.m. I called them to come check me but they refused saying I still have long way to go and they don't want to be dipping their hands inside me anyhow. By 11:50pm i shouted that I wanted to poop, that was when they now checked and I was quickly rushed to the labour room.
By 12:10a.m. I pushed after I've been cut and my princess popped out, few minutes after, the placenta came out and the stitching began. My baby gave me tear while coming out plus the one given to me by the matron. In all, I return all glory back to God.

I thought I'll be back by 2023 before, but with the look of things and the pains i experienced, I hereby hang my boot till only God knows when.

For the swollen legs, my wife had it too as a result of sitting for long hours in the office.
It didn't last a week though

I have stopped working, my only chore is to eat and bath aside going to the market and doing small exercise. I guess that is why I feel this way

no migraine again. Doc gave her anti malaria drugs at the last antenatal visit yesterday.

PRE PREGNANCY
I got pregnant March 2020 and was with team December 2020. I started noticing spotting when I was 4 weeks gone. I went to hospital and was given some drugs and asked to return if it didn't stop in 3 days. It did stop before the three days elapsed. I went for scan at 9 weeks and the sonographer said everything is ok that heartbeat cannot be detected quickly like that, that we will be able to hear the heartbeat when it's over 12 weeks(olodo somebody). The spotting returned and I went to another place for scan and I was told it's blighted ovum. I rejected it and went back to my quack Sonographer who reassured me once more that everything is ok( even though I know in my mind that all is not ok) May God answer all those who are looking for fruit of the womb.
To cut the long story short I lost the pregnancy. It came out on it's own.
PREGNANCY
My period returned before a month and I got the bfp that same month. First trimester was so easy, no morning sockness, nothing. Second trimester came with Carpal tunnel syndrome. It started from the left wrist to the right wrist( still on it) Third trimester was sweet too.
DELIVERY
At exactly 39 weeks, I just wanted to turn on the bed just to see water gushing out. No signs prior to this. I and hubby left for hospital immediately at around 7am. The water just dey gush out and I no wear pant, the nurse abuse shege for my body(lol) that I'm messing der hospital. I wasnt having any contraction. I was checked and at 3cm. I was given two options for inducement or cs because I've lost almost all the water. If I know make I choose cs jeje. I chose to be induced. Contraction started back to back and by 4-5pm I was fully dilated. That was when they knew I have oval shaped whatever they call it and I can't deliver on my own. I died and resurrected. They called surgeon to come which took like 2 and half hours. I honestly thought I wasn't going to make it. I was placed on oxygen. Doctor came and that was the last thing I remembered. I woke up shouting where's my pregnancy. I became only calm when I saw my prince charming. I give all the glory to God. I appreciate all mamas in this family. May God protect our Los and answer all GTC mothers.

In other news, I don't know what they call this tape rule measurement they usually do at every antenatal clinic, The thing measured 37 weeks on Tuesday as against 35 weeks, sabi mamas how accurate is this tape rule measurement?

You can check your vitals.... if they are okay, you might just need to drink water often and elevate your legs, avoid stress too.

Mine too is swollen just not upto yours and doctor said its OK since bp and urine are good. Just lift your feet up most times..dont rest on them cos its retaining water.

Of course baby has been confirmed to be head down and everything okay...
Just some offline mamas saying horribly things about induction gone wrong is an inevitable CS... there is a high tendency that a baby with head down would spin many times as a result of the induction, when this happens the only alternative is CS hence if you intend to be induced, you should equally plan a CS incase...

Today 6th we are actually 40 weeks and a day gone.
A private doctor has been preaching inducement and preferably elective CS,
Baby weighs about 3.8
STM, although my first baby was induced n delivered normal.

Thinking its way too early, how much more do you think I can still hold on before opting for inducement? Is it bad waiting till we clock 41weeks? Heard at this point, baby grows by the day, how true?

Lol. I went for Antenatal for the 1st time, the Clinic referred me to a lab for Scan. Their report says my EDD is April 27. I laughed. (When I'm barely 6mnths and in my 2 nd Trimester)
These machines eh.

I don't understand why the machine will give you April as your due date, when you're still in your second trimester? Abi their machine nor good? Did you give the scan result to your Doctor?

I have an electric pump that you can plug into power bank or electric source It comes with its cup. You don't have to hold it..you can be pumping and doing something else. It's a little affordable though . It's 30k

I had this issue with all my pregnancies and my OB said it’s due to low protein and to try and eat more protein. I did and it helped. Also drinking a lol bit of caffeinated drinks like Coca Cola or a small cup of coffee always took the headache away for me. You can try that.
Tylenol also helped me, any med with acetaminophen as its active ingredient should take the edge off
