Family / Re: Is Africa Really A Better Place to Raise A Child Than The Western World? by ABCthingx: 6:04pm On Feb 22, 2021
crackhaus:

This.

I believe that as Nigerians, we just love to have it both ways all the time. The same Nigerians who prefer to live a life of unbelief and would rather do away with religions that instill positive values, also turn around to complain that their children are not respectful and well-behaved.

I wonder where these children are supposed to learn good behaviour and morals from when they were not introduced to and made to adhere to any religion that espouses such.
The assumption that just the words and corrections from a parent would be enough to keep a 21st century child in line, is foolhardy.

The real questions should be;
What has a parent taught their child(ren) to believe in?
What higher power do they revere?
Do these children feel obligated to live according to the tenets of this higher power?
xactly. They are having this problem abroad too. They want to the do away with God (the originator of morality) and still have a moral, lawful society at the same time.

Tell me, how can that work?

Then after 5 days while im still waiting for my deliveries, one fellow online will be telling me how unproductive I am compared to whites. As if we had equal grounds. sad

I guess you copied it from Google.

Nigerians work about 40 hrs as you claim but produce nothing.

Americans work 34.4 hrs a week but produced one of the best economy in the world.

The question to you is who is more productive?

You see your mentality.

Anybody that complains and blame society for his own failure has a defeatism mentality.

See how you contradict yourself.

All you have written are just complaints and complaints.

Stop giving excuses.

My comments have nothing to do with the political structure of a country but tge productivity of the people. Continue your way of excuse giving.

Even mechanics and other people doing blue collar jobs save daily, i see them doing contribution without complaining.

Crime / Re: Did Amotekun Kill 7 Kidnappers Or Innocent Fulani Herders In Oyo? by ABCthingx: 7:19pm On Jan 10, 2021
RisenPhoenix1:

The point is no one reports tribal affiliation when someone commits a crime abroad, so you wouldn't know whether a UK criminal is Scottish or Irish. That practise of reporting tribe is unique to Nigeria alone.

And killings in whatever form are not restricted only to Fulanis. Or only to herdsmen. Every tribe has its criminals; including killers. Should we fight an entire tribe, race or nationality whenever some of its members commit crimes? For example, do you think it is justified that all Nigerians be targeted and pulled out for strip searches in every airport in the world, because foreigners have come to associate Nigerians with drug related crimes and scams? Would you feel it was justified if your aged mother or father had to go through security personnel digging through their anus in a UK airport on the ground that all Nigerians are drug dealers? Or if your brother was shot by the US police on the grounds that he was a suspected scammer because he was Nigerian? Stereotyping works both ways, you see. We feel comfortable when we stereotype others and only understand how bad it is when it is done to us.

If a criminal of whatever ethnicity commits a crime, he should absolutely be caught and charged; or even killed if he resists arrest. But attacking and proscribing an entire tribe because of the actions of some of them is wrong behaviour, and if we kill innocents among them, we are no better than those of them who kill innocents among us. We are both killers of innocents. Belonging to the same tribe as a criminal does not make a third party a criminal. That is all I have to say. And if you still don't understand the concept, there is no way I can explain more than this.
Ethnicity is bad I know. We should have moved beyond this but instead its getting worse day by day.

And nobody knows why. sad Do you?

Ranching would very easily solve this herdsmen problem, but the fulanis are not out for legitimate business but dominance,if not the herdsmen should ordinarily be asking government to establish the ranches for them to use for a fee just as government build markets for traders simple.

So your police will just go around shooting and killing people because they are supposedly caught in one crime or the other.

Do you even understand that it is against international law and that even domestic repercussions could set this country ablaze.

Think hard, very hard about what is beginning to emerge.
Yeah, its quite terrible. But how do you charge a Fulani man that alway kills and runaway to Court? Esp. when they will be covered by their sarikis and so.

It doesn't matter who practises tribalism or in what form. Everyone should just stop. The whites imposed the concept of tribalism on us to divide and rule us and in our slavish mentality, we continue to follow in the path they laid out for us even after they left. Have you heard debates in the UK media as to whether Boris Johnson is ethnically Welsh, Scottish, Irish or English? Do you hear Justin Trudeau's ethnicity being reported? Vladimir Putin? No. It's only we blacks that keep our tribes on the front burner for immediate use.

I'm out of here. I hate commenting on Crime or Political threads. We Africans are always shallow analysts at best.

You're a disgrace to Yoruba nation if you're a Yoruba man ! What nonsense are you spewing from your dirty mouth ? Are you stupid or something ? You just read in that report now that some aliens Bororo or whatever are already claiming to have villages in Yoruba land and what came to your warped mind was to heap blames on Amotekun !

You want us to fold our arms and allow those murderous savages called fulani to turn our land to another southern Kaduna or Jo's ? Look here man, it is not Amotekun's battle alone,it our battle - Yoruba battle and we are ready to do whatever it takes to defend our land against any invasion.

How do you define a criminal ? What do you call a man that hides in a forest with dangerous weapons with the intent of killing ,rapping ,kidnapping, land grabbing and other criminal intents ?

If you're not comfortable with what Amotekun is doing in our land, you can relocate to Borno or Sambisa. Trust me, we have not even started with the criminal fulanis in Yoruband.
Don't mind them. They dont like it when we do owambe with a lot of celebration and dancing.

Instead they want us to be doing mass burials everyday and be crying like babies.

We must let them know that we don't take such rubbish!

In as much as I don't want to sound like a bigot, enough is enough to the Fulani excesses. You lot will sit down in lagos and be typing nonsense. Though I was born in Kogi, I have being to about 30 states in nails and I can tell you for free, that crime especially killing and taking over farms has being Fulani way of life from time immemorial. Around 1995 Fulani attacked my father in his farm, Kabba and took over his farm. But now it's now getting rampant, not everyone can be chicken away by funali. Why lazy lagosian like you are occupied by what bobrisky, Olamide and burnaboy are doing to themselves. Fulani are mobilising their people from all other countries to kill farmers, kidnap, rape and take over territories. While asslickers like you are too coward to admit it, the least you can do is appreciate them for stand for your lazy as$. No matter how stupid a Yoruba is he will never attack any innocent man just base on his tribe or region. They are conversant with their environment and will protect it. Haven't been to All the states in the Sw, SE, SS, NC, Some NE and NW, the hospitality Yorubas give to a stranger can not be accorded to any Yoruba in another region. So it's better to bleep yourself than ask yoruba to seek peace and be slaughtered by your Fulani master
sad Few years ago.. This Fulani attacked a village I've been to.
It was actually several gbagyi villages around that area.
They kill them and burnt their farms and disposed them.

And nothing was done about it instead the pained villagers who dared to defend themselves were arrested and lockedup by the army. One Nigeria sad

What most people don't understand is that most of the armed herdsmen are usually not even fulani. We have thousands of Fulani settlements all over the north and they have not been causing trouble. The killer jerders and bandits sometimes even raid those settlements and seize their cows. Obviously, attacking a settlement full of young and old Fulani men will not go unanswered by the Fulanis. I trust them.
