The wordings are straight forward. You can reapply again, but this time you need to show 3 things:

1. Evidence of business transactions. Inflow and outflow from Bank, email correspondences, invoices to customers and invoices from vendors etc.

2. Source of the finance you provided need to be backed up by other bank statements. E.g if you had moved it from an investment account to your bank account some days before, you should generate the investment account statement and attach.

3. More proof on your plans to return to Nigeria....maybe other investments in Naija etc.

What could possibly be the problem? I submitted my DS160 two days ago and paid the visa fee at GT bank yesterday morning.
I have also tried different emails but it's still the same. I called the embassy too but after waiting for long to be answered by an agent, the call drops from their end. Has anyone else experienced and got it sorted? I'd like to know how to go about it.

It depends on your school. You will need to ask Office of International Students on how much you need for spouse and kids living expenses.

Just send them a mail that you are coming with family, and you need info on their cost of living.

Initiate renewal of passport. Use this current one (so far you get your visa before Aug 18, you are fine with it).

Hello guys. I have this issue and would appreciate useful information towards resolving it.

So I have an appointment date I plan to reschedule on the CGI portal. Recently I've been trying to log in but keep getting this error: "Your login attempt has failed. Make sure the username and password are correct."

Plenty google searches revealed that CGI often logs you out if you log in too frequently over certain periods looking for dates and this is likely what happened to me. Now I'm trying to email them in an attempt to get it reopened but I'm stuck with the best way to construct my email and what information to provide in it.

Has anyone previously had this issue and had it resolved, please? I'll appreciate any information on how to go about it.

CGI does not logout applicants. They only disable ability to view open dates after you login.

Don't contact random people on Nairaland to help you make payments. Two ways to make payments by yourself, either you use flutterwave or you open a dollar domiciliary account, get a card for it then buy dollars off the black market to fund the account and pay. The later is what I do.

Domiciliary account funding is the best option now as rates of all these virtual cards are above black market rates. You can get $ at 571 - 573 depending on volume. Your choice now depends on how much you're paying and your convenience tradeoff.
