To be very frank, the quality of cameras that comes with the camon series do not match the price. That camon c9 camera is pretty great

Haven't seen photos taken with the camon series but heard they take great photos.

Hear the name na BOOM ; a word for the sound an explosion makes.
The phones even come with dedicated headphones so that you can enjoy the boom sounds when you listen to music

it depends. from ages of 6 to 12 years = desktop phones
from 12 years to 15 years= mobile phones especially the torch light
15 years and above= any type of phones.
In this 21st century, communication is very important especially teaching your kids to memorize your phone number in case of emergency.

They are. And it's funny how they are the less talked about models of Tecno phones. The camon and phantom models just be hugging the headlines tightly, an now the W5 have join them.
Maybe it's because those ones are targeted at camera lovers while the boom series are for us the music aficionados.

We all know the advantages of having a smartphone. Kids could get access to a whole lot of apps that could help them learn whatever it is they want to learn.
Having their their personal phones helps a lot when their parents and elder siblings try to reach them directly to find out where they are and what they a doing. You feel safe knowing that your kids are safe as well. In an emergency situation also, it's crucial that your kids is just a call or text away when they try to reach you or when you try to reach them.

But with all these positives comes a handful of negatives as well. With a smartphone always at hand, kids also have access to social media, a variety of games that are really time-consuming, with a possibility of hitting those dreadful search words and find their way to a plethora of porn sites.

Games are addictive and will take their time depriving them of rest, playtime and prevents them free doing their homework.
And let's not get started on the jungle that is Social media.

What do you guys think? How old should a child be to have their first mobile phone?

Nokia Is also working on Virtual Reality and one of their new smartphones will come with it definitely. Tecno hasn't even come close to VR Talk more of Artificial Intelligence.

Also if they bring the devices at affordable rates which they certainly will in a matter of years other OEMs will be struggling again with Nokia, Samsung and Apple.

You are obviously a tech guy so u should know this.
On the issue of VR. VR isn't ground breaking anymore, where only a select few have access to the technology. The blueprint is out there already. There are a lot of generic VR headsets available. Tecno can easily outsource the hardware to one of the countless OEMs in China and put the Tecno branding on it.

On the issue of AI, you think say e easy? if e easy why bigger brands like Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi and LG never dabble inside since.

boss man, Nokia can only compete with apple and samsung. They are bigger brands than Tecno, infinix and Gionee. Dont forget that the Nokia brand is not all about phones

The small detail of pricing
If the prices that is being bandied about turns out to be correct then they shouldn't bother coming to this shores.

Now I'm beginning to understand why some people say that P6 is more solid than p6 plus.

I've held both devices and trust me phantom 6 display trumps the 6+.
Moving forward, Tecno should just stick with AMOLED on their flagships, even Apple will be dumping IPS soon.

Sadly we are a consuming nation. The exchange rates is a reason why you think they don't make affordable smartphones anymore. The entire Tecno W series are targeted at the budget segment.

If you read reviews of apps on the playstore you will never download any app.
