Anything dt doesn't fall in those mainstream categories such as afrobeats, indian music.etc. gets nominated in the global or world category. Grammy uses 'global' and billboard uses 'world'. It will take a while for afrobeats to be recognised as a genre like Reggae. It's still new on the global stage but these guys are getting us closer.

It is matter of time. But must we pander to all these white men awards and validation. Imagine looking down on an artiste cos he/she is not huge in the white men eyes

Mehnnn, that album was classic. I think the name of the album is "Born to do it", spanning many smash hits, not just one hit ooo but almost all the tracks in that album were hits. But still didn't get nominated for grammy talk less of winning it.
