Good morning gurus?
Is this the nairaland platform that I can get info and ask questions on South Africa University admission?
I mean talking about various South Africa schools, admission requirements etc?
Also talking on whether to do Bsc (Hons) or MSc and the likes? I mean not talking about visa alone....
Please help. You may share link to refer me. Thanks |

Good evening Gurus in the house.
I have some inquiries to make please;
How do i get referral code/note from my prospective schools in Australia, when I tried applying via BCIE they ask of my referral code/note and they told me if i don't have it, i will have to pay 75K. Help please?
Also can I apply for admission and secure admission to Australian Universities without using the school agents? I hope applying myself won't delay the process?
Can someone help me with some list of schools in Australia that doesn't require Application fees? |

Preppie: Hello,
I have just been admitted for a Masters degree in UCT. I would like to know what I really need to present at the VFS office in order to apply for a Study Permit and what the financial implications may be.Though I have gone through the VFS website, I realise that there may be some requirement which may alo be necessary but may not be expressly stated there. Is the letter of admission from the school required because what I have is the offer letter sent by email to me by the Institution. If the letter of admission is sent to me via email, can it be used for this pupose.
Thanks. Msc directly? Are you not required to do Bsc (Hons) before Msc? Shed more light please? |

Silti: Hello,
Just saw your post and I was interested because I also applied to western (although I declined it for ubc). I applied with first bank's visa debit card which acts as a credit card. For your money order however, I know first bank does moneygram. You could make enquiries.
Also send an email explaining your situation to western pg admissions and ask for the best way out and if moneygram would be acceptable.
I wish you all the best. Thanks |

PurpleG: You can't get your visa asap even if you apply now. The visa is issued earliest 3months before resumption. It's better to apply early though, especially if you have a good SOA now. . How many year is the graduate entry for nursing? How much is the total tuition fees for flinders uni? |

Don't mind this my question ooo, what exactly are the jobs of nurses there, why the high demand for nurses?
What about Medicine, is there no high demand for it...?? .
And how can a Bsc in Microbiology cross to Medicine in Australia, which mode? Graduate Entry, or......... Any affordable way and low tuition way to Medicine?
I don't know i just prefer Medicine to nursing.
I await your prompt response please. |

santity100: If the school doesnt require soa and the embassy request nko ?
Most people still expecting visas when schools have resumed which is very rare in Australia cases.
Things are getting tougher again and AL1 assessment might not work for us due to activities of our brothers and sisters.
If your target intake will be february 2018, i will advise you to just get a good bank statement ready for your school and embassy.
Also, apply very early for your admission and visa. You are still not getting me boss. Like i was told earlier most schools request for parents or someone you have the same surname with SOA before they give admission, but for visa embassy one might use his uncle with different surname SOA. My question now is, is there a way of dodging providing school with SOA? Can i have universities like that, i would prefer to apply to those ones. Although I have sufficient money in uncle SOA but it is just that it's a very far uncle with different surname that's my sponsor? Secondly, is there anything i can do and is it all universities in Canada that request for SOA before they give admission? If yes, what can I do? Do anyone have idea of universities with 2017 entry asides Feb and July that has passed? Lastly, sorry for being too inquisitive i need this info to proceed, want to put forward an admission application soonest and don't want future plights. We will meet in Australia in peace... |

Solitin40: 1.Nobody can give you an answer to that because the embassy ask of SOA from AL1 Universities you can get your answer from the embassy by calling or sending email
2.Victoria is the State while Melbourne is the city(In ogun state we have Abeokuta Ijebu ode and Sango ota I hope you should understand now) Thanks for your prompt and concise response bro. To be more clear with my question: I mean Universities that wouldn't request for someone SOA as part of Admission before issuing COE, i am not talking about visa application bro? The problem is a very far uncle with a different surname as mine is my sponsor, how can i go through the universities admission since i was told that most schools but not all schools normally request for parents SOA before issuing COE for students.... If you have once been in this shoe, your response would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks |

I tried to check Google but the results seems to be very funny and not too clear. Can someone help me with a few list of the low tuition fees universities in australia for Master of Science to be precise... I hear a lot of people talking about universities agents as per Australia university admission, can someone get admitted when he applies to a school by himself without using an agent... Also, will the service rendered by the agents be free since they were found on the school website... Could someone also clarify me on the issues of points for PR and where I mean cities or towns ko an international student can most likely can part time work on study |

mamacajah: Hello All, Please Ineed your candid advise and counsel. I have a BSc and MSc but I want to apply for either a diploma or post graduate certificate program in Canada, so that I can increase my points for EE and qualify for PR(currently scores are low due to age-40yrs). Which route would be the best for me to take? I have checked most masters program, and my UG CGPA was 3.06/5 and using the WES free GPA calculator, this equates to 2.79/4.0, so I don't qualify for their 3.0/4.0 CGPA requirement, hence why I want to go this aternative route. Before I begin the process of searching for school programs, applying, etc, I came here. i have tried reading through some pages of this thread, but just decided to throw this question for answering while still digesting more information. Thanks and have a great day. Please how do you convert you Nigerian CGPA to Canadian standard.. How can I do that... |

Like if am granted Malaysia visa and got my passport stamped but within the period got Canadian university admission and had to apply for Canadian visa won't the VO ask that why didn't I go to Malaysia for study? Or won't it cause any commotion of any type? Thanks in anticipation |
