Hello,

I have just been admitted for a Masters degree in UCT. I would like to know what I really need to present at the VFS office in order to apply for a Study Permit and what the financial implications may be.Though I have gone through the VFS website, I realise that there may be some requirement which may alo be necessary but may not be expressly stated there. Is the letter of admission from the school required because what I have is the offer letter sent by email to me by the Institution. If the letter of admission is sent to me via email, can it be used for this pupose.

Just saw your post and I was interested because I also applied to western (although I declined it for ubc). I applied with first bank's visa debit card which acts as a credit card. For your money order however, I know first bank does moneygram. You could make enquiries.

Also send an email explaining your situation to western pg admissions and ask for the best way out and if moneygram would be acceptable.

Bro, The master card u used for the payment is it your's why was it disputed after payment? apparently the school suspected fraudulent transaction that is why they requested for money order not CC anymore. i hope you sort it out. goodluck

You can't get your visa asap even if you apply now. The visa is issued earliest 3months before resumption. It's better to apply early though, especially if you have a good SOA now.

I heard about one Catholic Uni in Melbourne which is said to have lower tuition fee. Try and check it out. Good luck brother.

Its alright. It is better to do it right. I advise students to avoid the starting at all if the chances of visa grants is low. Too much pressures of getting positive outcome on visa applications.

Most people still expecting visas when schools have resumed which is very rare in Australia cases.

Things are getting tougher again and AL1 assessment might not work for us due to activities of our brothers and sisters.

If your target intake will be february 2018, i will advise you to just get a good bank statement ready for your school and embassy.

Also, apply very early for your admission and visa.

However, you all fail to understand that this is peak period. Like Nigeria isn't the only country these folks are attending to, and cos it's closer to July intake the rush is iskaba. I urge you to take chill pills, and keep hope alive.
Aussie hardly rejects student visa, except your case get what I will call Covfefe.
Take your mind away from this stuff.. get busy. It is as difficult as shii yh? But try

1.Nobody can give you an answer to that because the embassy ask of SOA from AL1 Universities you can get your answer from the embassy by calling or sending email

2.Victoria is the State while Melbourne is the city(In ogun state we have Abeokuta Ijebu ode and Sango ota I hope you should understand now)

Yes she can sponsor you. Though AL1 schools might not accept as GTE.

Why can't she sponsor her sister instead of you and you guys will still achieve the same purpose?

Tuition formmost science course are on the high side but u can check CQU , Victoria university, Charles Darwin, Edith Cowan, western Sydney university

-u should know that schools in Aussie are expensive ..so when I say low ..how much are u talking about and what course..
- u can get a school ur self but most of the dem will refer I to an agent in the process of your application like Victoria university and central queens university and when the refer u to the agents they would still charge BCIE charges 75000 options education 75000 pFL 150 some 100
- check in the travel thread for PR .. under the topic Australia skilled immigration
- u can study and work in any city as long as the job opportunity comes where ever u find urself

Hello All, Please Ineed your candid advise and counsel. I have a BSc and MSc but I want to apply for either a diploma or post graduate certificate program in Canada, so that I can increase my points for EE and qualify for PR(currently scores are low due to age-40yrs). Which route would be the best for me to take? I have checked most masters program, and my UG CGPA was 3.06/5 and using the WES free GPA calculator, this equates to 2.79/4.0, so I don't qualify for their 3.0/4.0 CGPA requirement, hence why I want to go this aternative route. Before I begin the process of searching for school programs, applying, etc, I came here. i have tried reading through some pages of this thread, but just decided to throw this question for answering while still digesting more information. The choice is yours my dear, it depends on your scale of preference,wht country do you prefer, is it malaysia or canada. this decision will guide you right. no one can advice you to choose one country over the other wht of if the house decides and at the end of the day it doesn't favour you, how will you feel? make the decision 1st and lets no how to tackle your question. i hope this will help.
