Once again, this story gives credence to the fact that women are and will forever remain their worst enemy, i had a funny experience recently, went lagos to facilitate my PPA for service since i was just mobilized for NYSC, my girlfriend works in lagos and there is this coleague of hers who acts so nice and receptive, u'll never suspect shes not happy with what her friend has, after much persuasion from my gf to visit her place of work and meet her friend that shes eager to meet me, i gave in and decided to go see them this fateful day, i got there and the said lady even had gifts ready for me, wow kul right? grin
Since its a beauty parlour in one of these posh places on the island, they decided to give me a treat, this lady even insisted on doing my massage, asked me to use the sauna and stuffs b4 the massage, i had a good time though.
My girl and i woke up to a call from her boss inquiring who she brought to the spa the previous day, her boss was furious and told her shes gonna pay for the service, my babe was shaken and scared, long story short, after some months the said lady fell out of favor with her boss and got fired, the boss then revealed to my girl that it was her supposed friend turn sister that snitched on her when they got talking, seriously even with all my trust issues i was thrown off balance by the news, i mean this babe even got my digits off my girl's phone and messaged me on whatsapp earlier and we became kinda close cos she confides in me alot and seeks advice and guidance, i was surprised, i must give it to her anyway, she did a perfect job masking it.
Bottom line is, most women envy and want what their friends have, i dunno the idea behind it though

I don't really know how to feel, i feel belittled, i feel shocked, i feel confused...

I actually love gisting with the individuals in my vicinity, be it old or young but today marks a turning point, i guess.

The weather over here is really cool, so usually, i spend some time outside @ night. So there i was, relaxing today with eyes closed but then, i felt a presence. I peeped tiredly through an eye and lo, a girl around 15/16 stood, staring at me. I asked her casually if she was alright but then she replied "yes o, i know what you want and i will give you".
Wonders shall never cease. I'm planning on warning her mother seriously tomorrow
Bro, i think i can relate like 100%, i had an almost similar experience as yours, i dunno whether to attribute this to too much exposure or hormonal reconfiguration but i was a bit thrown off balance when it happened, in my case, the kid shld be around 14 or less, told me i was kinda cute and she rili likes me, i know some guys who might wanna beat me up weneva i refer to some girls as kids but de are kids for God sake, bottom line is, kids got balls these days, it was nothing close to this when we were younger if i can remember clearly

You guys are not smart.

The metric which should give a better indication of performance is the Goal To Game Ratiio.

Messi has only played in the Liga where more than 40 per cent of the clubs he has faced have remained in the top flight since his debut.

Common sense should tell anybody that having played in four leagues, Ronaldo must had had the opportunity to pad his stat with likes of Sunderland, Wigan, Victoria Setubal, Brescia, SPAL and other relegation fodders and yo-yo teams.

It is like a boxer using journeymen to pad his knockout stats....
Whatever rocks our boats bro, i wnt prolong this argument about already made men, peace undecided

EducationRe: Share Your Most Embarrassing Moment On Campus by Abdulpro1(m): 11:34pm On Oct 24, 2019
Rapmoney:
Throwback Thursday: Your Most Embarrassing Moment On Campus

At one time or the other, we all had one embarrassing moment on campus that one would remember and just laugh...especially, after many years have gone by.

Mine:

In my 2nd year in school, I was chilling at Nwanyi Nempi pepper soup joint after a long boring lecture from a lecturer who took sadism as a hobby. I had a cold HARP in my front (mortuary standard). I say make I take am dey hold conscience because the stress too much for department. Not long, I saw this tall pretty light-skin girl passing. I was instantly attracted to her but I didn't follow her. I grew up with the mentality of not stopping a girl on the road; especially, when you are not coming from an opposite direction. I quickly did a research on her by asking someone at the joint as if I was working as an investigative journalist for Channels TV!!! I was able to get her name, level and department and the info that she's an 'aje-butter' from a known family in Onitsha. From that minute, I started plotting my 'graph'.

The next day, I planned I would approach her. After my first lecture, I went straight to her department (Computer Science) to accomplish my mission. Na so I spread like virus full everywhere...well polished shoes, starched and well pressed shirt, new haircut...come dey form James Bond. After hanging around for some time without seeing her, I decided it was an unsuccessful trip.

That same day, while discussing with friends at photo stands (where school photographers stayed), I saw her approaching. I pinched myself secretly and told myself that it is 'Now or Never'. Based on say I be Warri boy, I nor fit carry last. Right there, as crowded as the place was, I approached her and that was the killing mistake I made. This was what happened:

Me: Hi, Onyinyechi, how are you doing?

Babe: How did you know my name?

Me: They say when you're interested in someone, you would also be interested in things that pertain to them.

Babe: Really? You've not answered my question and moreover, I don't know you.

Me: OK, I got to know your name from a friend in your department. I'm interested in you...

Babe: (Speaking loudly and angrily to the hearing of every student present) You should have something better doing! Pls don't ever stop me again! Now take some steps back and behave as if this conversation never took place!!!

Ogbeni, na so I pose like vulture wey rain beat...right there wey I stand, malaria, typhoid and diarrhoea hold me at once. I come stand like image wey deh carve for shrine grin One side of my belle come dey do me like say I wan weewee, the other side come dey do me like say I wan poopoo. To look back na problem. Crowd of guys and babes dey observe me like cinema. Even my guys sef dey help me dey shame! I was receiving consoling pats on the back as if say my palee kpai! Dem say when house fall, goat go climb the roof. Na the courage say at least Warri boy try to try I take waka pass school gate that day. I nor gree show face for photo stands through out that semester.

It's been 18 years now but each time I remember this event, I just laugh it off as my most embarrassing moment on campus.
Guy ur 4king funny, i don laff tire dis night

PoliticsRe: I Have Lived In South Africa For Almost 20 Years. Hear Is My Experience by Abdulpro1(m): 1:46am On Sep 06, 2019
anago40:
I know the SA thing is paining you as you say, also me too. But please hear my perspective:

I have lived in SA for almost 20 years.

What you see as pure xenophobia is actually community Vigilantism gone wrong or hijacked by criminals.

Some of the shops looted and destroyed are actually covers for a serious crime.

Some of our brothers take over entire areas and turn them into drug markets. But because the law in SA does not allow police to arrest criminals unless with evidence or unless shot at, so what happens is the drug guys hide these drugs in shops, restaurants etc and use as a face.
There are up to 30 public "drug" markets in Joburg alone. These are areas where 50 to 200 Nigerians converge on street corners to sell drugs. That's just in Johannesburg, and excludes other places.
The community knows and they try to inform the police. Sometimes these guys get arrested and bribe their way out when it fails the community takes laws into their hands.

Nigerians are not being targetted per se. The target is street drug dealers and yahoo boys who are mostly Nigerian.

Personally, in an area of Johannesburg, some years ago, drug dealers almost took over my property. We bought it and in the process of renovation, they invaded it and turned it into a drug hotel. It took God to evict them without being killed. It was led by Nigerians. In that property, there were families with women and children.

One strategy of selling drugs is to befriend young secondary school.Girls and introduce them. They get hooked and they start stealing and prostitution to feed the habit. Soon the entire area deteriorates.
Now, why I am sharing this with you is that the drug dealers are distracting attention. They are trying to make the Nigerian Government arise in anger and defend "Nigerians" ie defend drug dealers. if they succeed, they'd have staged a powerful coup. They'd have entered an official mafioso level, protected by Government.

Please see the article below: The Nigeria ambassador to SA said the majority of killings are perpetrated by fellow Nigerians. It's a drug turf war. he is right. I know some who've been killed.

So how can we accuse others of killing us when we are perpetrating it?

Those videos and pictures circulating of Nigerians in SA- how is it that we are shown only in the light of guys on the street? I know top Robotics engineers in SA, I know people in Top IT firms, developers, in Amazon, Google etc, I know top bankers, property company owners, many doctors, Superintendent of hospitals, professors, Pastors, etc.

So in summary here are my thoughts

- A vast majority of upright Nigerians in SA are very comfortable. They are doctors, teachers, business owners, etc. If we don't get the right story, we can set off a diplomatic war, everything collapses and these guys become targets. Currently, they are not being targetted by anyone. many are married to South Africans. Some head Government agencies and private companies.

- Yes, there are some xenophobic South Africans, but just like we fought against stigmatizing Fulani, we must also fight against stigmatizing South Africans. There are VERY many good South Africans, who don't buy into any form of oppression. Let us encourage our government to join with the South African Government and carry out a security raid on drug dealers.

If the Government announces this, you will see they will flee because they'll know the cover is blown! xenophobic attacks will reduce 95%.

The biggest donation event in the history of SA was in 2007 when people gave to victims of xenophobic attacks. The amount given was a record. It shows that the nation is not buying into that mindset.

- Please use your powerful platform to create a voice for good Nigerians in SA. You will be surprised. Many are afraid to talk because even Nigerian organizations in SA are infiltrated and even controlled by drug dealers and kingpins. No one wants to be killed. These guys are very powerful.

- Communities fighting to save themselves should not be hushed but helped to do it in a better way. Not jungle justice.
- Yes the SA Government must not also be left without responsibility in the matter, they should be tasked to step up their game too. While Nigeria targets drug dealers and yahoo buys, South Africa should target miscreants and criminals in a joint operation. SA Government also needs to purge bad eggs in its police force who are compromised. It Also needs to take its own share of blame for unemployment, poverty and economic challenges and social issues that allow drugs to be demanded.

I close with a prophecy by Pa Elton

"Africa is like a gun, Nigeria is like a trigger, South Africa is like a barrel

South Africa will be free. It will partner with Nigeria.

When that happens, Africa will arise and lead the world in many ways."

This prophecy was given in the hight of apartheid when it seemed impossible. Today it is half done South Africa has more bilateral agreements with Nigeria than any other nation on earth. We MUST NOT allow miscreants and criminals on both sides to hinder it, because if our national relationship fails, Africa will fail.

This is Buhari's "Mandela" moment. Will he rise up and shake off the pain and anger and mobilize Africa to unify or will he take a position that reverses the building of unity? I think he will do the right thing by God's grace, but I also believe publicizing the truth will help him and citizens.

I am open to discuss with you further on this matter, and if you feel the need to publish the above anonymously, please feel free. And if you want to do a tour to SA, I'll host you and we can go out and do a strategic mapping. I'll show you things that will make you see another perspective.
https://allafrica.com/stories/201808140022.html
I believe people need to calm the hell down and read this, the killings, vandalism of properties and brutality of foreign citizens is very wrong but if u actually read this post and think/analyze objectively, u'll see truth in what hes saying...

RomanceRe: Why Men Should Marry Ebira Women by Abdulpro1(m): 9:46am On Jun 20, 2019
segunoz:
All I see are supposedly educated people making unintelligent comments for cheap likes and forum popularity.

I blame the OP for blowing his own trumpet. He should realise the folly of his "cause" considering the beer parlour level of discussions on nairaland.

Whenever I see Nigerians complain of racism, it is always funny cos we even treat ourselves in a similar way to how racists see us.
The most mature post i've seen on this thread today,
Big ups

Whites used to see blacks as dirty and uncultured . some even concluded we were animals.

Just consider this, If the Ebira people had a different skin colour, your idiotic notions would be tagged as racist, but since we are all black... I think it is just the need for you to massage your own ego and feel superior.

How many Ebira people do you knowhuh

How many of those who are commenting have even met 10 Ebira people in their entire life spanhuh

Tribal descriptions are stereotypes. Stereotypes are false. E.G. blacks like to eat watermelons and chicken. Yoruba are dirty. ibos can sell their mothers for money, fulani people love cows more than people.

Nigeria is a really bad place with lots of bad people. We do not even like ourselves.
