truthman2012: Salvation is not the same with good Deed. Salvation is an escape from eternal damnation while good Deed has to do with REWARD meant for those who eventually make it to heaven. Good Deed does not grant salvation. Salvation is obtainable by Law or Grace.

Under the Law adulterers were stoned to death. Does it mean they had not at one time or the other done any good deed? Yet with their good Deed they were still stoned to death. This shows salvation cannot be obtained by good deed.

As I said earlier, salvation can be obtained either by Law or Grace. Salvation by Law is almost impossible because you cannot avoid breaking any of the Laws, even unknowingly some times. Ignorance is no excuse, once you break the Law you are liable to punishment whether or not you have good deed.

It is worthy of note that under the Law there is no room for repentance once you are already caught. If God is to take your records of breaking the Law, you will not get to heaven where you will receive reward for your good deed, meaning your good works will get burnt.

Grace means somebody taking your place, somebody paying for your deficit. Grace is unmerited favour - something you do not deserve but given to you because somebody paid for it. This where Jesus comes in.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

Not calling the name of the Lord in sin but in righteosness. What is righteosness? It is right standing before God without any sense of condemnation. After you have done your best, then Jesus will do the rest (I John 2:1).

I pity those who do not have Jesus. They will realize their inability to keep the Law properly at death but it is too late.

There are two recent booklets from the late Nasir Albani's printing house, al-Maktab al-Islami out of Beirut, on the topic:

1- Nasb al-Majaniq li-Nasf Qissat al-Gharaniq ("The Hoisting of Catapults for the Destruction of the Story of the Cranes" by M. Nasir al-Albani, 3rd ed. 1996.

2- Al-Gharaniq: Qissatun Dakhilatun `ala al-Sirati al-Nabawiyya ("The Cranes: A Story Interpolated into the Prophetic Sira" by Albani's student Salih Ahmad al-Shami, 1st ed. 1998.

The first work argues for the invalidity of the story from the viewpoint of isnad, a weak argument as shown in the preceding discussion.

The second work argues for the invalidity of the story from the viewpoint of chronology, a strong and conclusive argument from the face of it, making the following points:

- Surat al-Najm (in which the disputed verses were purported to belong) was revealed in one whole in the tenth year of the Hijra.

- The First Hijra to Abyssinia took place in the fifth year, between Rajab and Shawwal.

- How then could the revelation of Surat al-Najm and the subsequent events - prompting the rumors of mass conversion in Mecca - that all took place in the tenth year, be a cause for the return of the Abyssinian Emigrants in the fifth?

- The true reason for the return of the Muslims from the first Abyssinian Emigration was alienation and difficult conditions as spoken by Asma' bint `Umays in the narration of al-Bukhari in his Sahih: "Asma' bint `Umays went in to see Hafsa the wife of Rasulullah Sallallahu `alayhi wa Alihi wa Sallam, and she was one of those who had emigrated to the Negus. Whereupon `Umar came in to see Hafsa while Asma' was with her. He asked who she was and Hafsa told him. `Umar said: She is the Abyssinian? The one from accross the sea? Asma' said yes. `Umar said: We all [emigrants to Madina] made Hijra before you all [emigrants to Abyssinia], so we are more entitled to the Messenger of Allah than you - Allah bless and greet him. She became angry and said: Not at all, by Allah! You were with the Messenger of Allah - Allah bless and greet him - at a time he fed your hungry ones and admonished your ignorant ones, while we were in the abode of alienation and detestation (dar al-bu`ada' wa al-bughada') in Abyssinia, all for the sake of Allah and for the sake of Rasulullah! And, by Allah, I shall not eat one morsel of food nor drink one drop of water until I mention what you said to Rasulullah! And how much did we suffer, and how we lived in fear! But I shall mention this to the Prophet! Etc."

- All the above does not preclude the fact that the Meccan unbelievers did prostrate upon hearing Sura al-Najm exactly as it was revealed, due to its majesty and the fear caused in them by the invocation of punishment pronounced towards its end. One needs only to imagine them gathered together with the Muslims before the Ka`ba as the Prophet - Allah bless and greet him - himself recited this newly-revealed Sura to them from beginning to end. Similar examples are the reactions of the unbelievers at the invocations of punishment they heard from the believers. For example, `Utba ibn Rabi`a's reaction when he heard the verse { If they turn away, tell them I have warned you of a destruction similar to that of `Ad and Thamud} (Fussilat 13). Upon hearing this `Utba placed his hand on the mouth of the Prophet - Allah bless and greet him - so that the threat of punishment would be averted. And when Khubayb ibn `Adi pronounced a similar threat, Abu Sufyan lied down on the ground together with his son Mu`awiya to deflect its harm.

Al-Shami also makes note of the book "Hadha al-Habib" by the late Abu Bakr al-Jaza'iri in which the author advocates the position that the story did take place and that the Prophet - Allah bless and greet him - was in fact mislead. This is the same man who used to sit in the Haram of Madina attacking the Awliya and Sufis, and who wrote that the father and mother of the Prophet - Allah bless and greet him - are in Hellfire. He was refuted among others by the two Moroccan authors of the book Wa`izun Ghayru Mutta`iz ("A Heedl

When the Quraysh heard this, they rejoiced greatly. Allah's Messenger proceeded with his recitation until the end of the Sura, at which point he prostrated, and the Muslims prostrated with him as well as all those of the pagans that were in the mosque. There remained no-one in the mosque, neither believer nor non-believer, except he prostrated, but for al-Walid ibn al-Mughira and Abu Uhayha Sa`id ibn al-`As who took a handful of earth and applied it to their foreheads, prostrating on it, for they were aged old men who could not prostrate. Then the Quraysh dispersed in elation at the way they had heard their gods mentioned, saying: "Muhammad has mentioned our gods in the best way possible." They also said: "We definitely know that Allah gives life and gives death as well as creates and sustains, but these our gods intercede for us before Him, so if Muhammad gives them their share, we are with him." When evening came, Gibril came to Allah's Messenger - Allah bless and greet him - and said: "O Muhammad! What have you done? You have recited to the people something which I never brought you from Allah Exalted and Almighty." Hearing this, the Prophet - Allah bless and greet him - was deeply grieved and feared much from Allah (swt). So Allah revealed to him the following verse in which he consoled him , as He was ever merciful towards him:

{ Never sent We a messenger or a Prophet before thee but when He recited (the message) Satan proposed (opposition) in respect of that which he recited thereof. But Allah abolisheth that which Satan proposeth. Then Allah establisheth His revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise} (22:52)

Meanwhile those of the Prophet's Companions who were in Abyssynia heard the news of the prostration of the Quraysh and the rumor that the Quraysh and the Meccans had accepted Islam, so most of them returned to their kindred. But when they neared Mecca the news reached them that what they had heard of the Islam of the Meccans was false. So no-one actually entered Mecca except under protection or stealthily. When the above verse was revealed, the Quraysh said: "Muhammad regrets his words about the status of our gods before Allah and has now changed them." The two phrases that the devil had interjected upon the tongue of Allah's Messenger - Allah bless and greet him - by then were in the mouth of every idolater, and their hostility increased in intensity against those who had accepted Islam.



3. Al-Tabari (d. 310) said in his commentary entitled Jami` al-Bayan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an (30 vols.) Beirut: Dar al-Fikr, 1405/1985, reprint of the Bulaq 1322-1330/1904-1911 ed. vol. 17:
[p. 186] The sayings concerning the interpretation of the verse:

There is no greater lie than the lie of the Satanic Verses. The Prophet (peace be upon him) never uttered those verses. To sum it all up, the story basically states that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) was leading the prayer one time near the Ka'bah, he was reciting Surah 53:19-20 and then immediately after he recited those verses, he said "those are the high-flying cranes and indeed their intercession is to be hoped for" so the Quraysh tribe were so thrilled that the Prophet (peace be upon him) spoke so positively about their Gods that they also prostrated with the Muslims after he recited those verses. Afterwards, Allah sent down a verse rebuking the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (Surah 17:73-75) and also sent down a verse abrogating the "Satanic Revelation" (Surah 22:52)



Let's see if this could make any sense.
Surah 53 was revealed in the 5th year of Prophethood...

Ibn Sad says that before this, in the Rajab of the 5th year of Prophethood, a small group of the Companions had emigrated to Abyssinia. Then, when in the Ramadan of the same year this incident took place the news spread that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had recited Surah An-Najm publicly in the assembly of the Quraish and the whole assembly, including the believers as well as the disbelievers, had fallen down in prostration with him. When the emigrants to Abyssinia heard this news they formed the impression that the disbelievers of Makkah had become Muslims. Thereupon, some of them returned to Makkah in the Shawwal of the 5th year of Prophethood, only to learn that the news was wrong and the conflict between Islam and disbelief was raging as furiously as before. Consequently, the second emigration to Abyssinia took place, in which many more people left Makkah.

Thus, it becomes almost certain that this Surah was revealed in the Ramadan of 5th year of Prophethood. (Syed Abu-Ala' Maududi, The Meaning of the Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 53, Source)



The alleged verse that was revealed rebuking the Prophet (peace be upon him) was sent down years later:
The very first verse indicates that this Surah was revealed on the occasion of Mi`raj (Ascension). According to the Traditions and books on the life of the Holy Prophet, this event happened one year before Hijrah. Thus, this Surah is one of those, which were revealed in the last stage of Prophethood at Makkah. (Syed Abu-Ala' Maududi, The Meaning of the Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 17, Source)

And the verse that supposedly abrogated the 'satanic revelation' was revealed in 1 A.H, which is approximately 8 years after the incident:

The sudden change of the style from v. 25 shows that probably vv. 25-78 were sent down in the month of Zul-Hijjah in the very first year after Hijrah. This is indicated by vv. 25-41 and confirmed by the occasion of the revelation of vv. 39-40. (Syed Abu-Ala' Maududi, The Meaning of the Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 22, Source)

Are they trying to say that the Muslims believed that the Satanic revelations were true revelations for approximately eight years? That would mean that the Quraysh would have believed that the Muslims were pagan worshippers. So if the Quraysh did believe this, then why did they keep on persecuting the Muslims for their beliefs, which is the reason why the Hijra took place anyway?

Allah knew everything you gave as your excuses including Trinity and Jesus as God's Son being believed by Christians before he confirmed we are going to heaven.

If Allah didn't know about Christianity and Trinity, why did he talk about it in the quran?

Now let us look at the above verses again:

We can surely eliminate the “Jewish (scriptures) ” part as
I’ve proven above that the Bible of today is not considered
to be sent by Allah in the Qur’an but what about the
“Sabians and the Christians”?
Again, we must see what Allah thinks of “true” Christians. I
can easily eliminate those who believe today’s Bible, as
they do not believe Allah’s True Word but there are other
ways.
Most of today’s Christians believe in the Trinity or the
divinity of Jesus(pbuh). Let’s see what the Qur'an says:
The Holy Qur'an 4:171 – Translation by Yusuf Ali
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your
religion: Nor say of God aught but the truth.
Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than)
an apostle of God, and His Word, which He
bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from
Him: so believe in God and His apostles. Say not
"Trinity”: desist: it will be better for you: for God
is one God: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He)
above having a son. To Him belong all things in
the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as a
Disposer of affairs.
It is obvious from here that Allah does not consider today’s
Trinitarian Christians to be the real followers of Jesus and
Allah [1].
But what about the non-trinity Christianity? The answer is
quite simple, and I will repeat myself again, who ever
believes the corrupted Bible of today, rather then Allah’s
word(be the Injil or the Torah), they are not considered
believers or True Christians or True Jews.

History of Al Aqsa Mosque
"The Tunnel of King Je-hoia-chin and Its Religious Significance"
The patriarch of all the believers of Allah (God), i.e. Jews, Christians, and Muslims is Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham, PBUH). He built the
Kaba in Makkah with his firstborn son Ismael (PBUH). This was an order from Allah (SWT) that Ibrahim and Ismael (PBUT) construct this
Holy House of Allah (SWT) as a place of worship for all the believers on earth. Ismael (PBUH) was 17 at the time he and his father built
the Kaba. Prophet Muhammad (PB UH), a descendent of the Prophet Ismael (PBUH), would come nearly 2,500 years after Kaba was built
and repurify it as a holy place of worship according to the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH). As stated in the Torah and in the
Holy Quran "all the generations will be blessed through I brahim (PBUH)" (Genesis 12 and 18 Holy Bible, Chp 2 Verses 123-141 Holy
Quran).
In Jerusalem, Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) also established a place of worship. This place would later be known as The House Of Allah (God),
or Beteyel. Forty years after the construction of Kaba, Prophet Ibrahim expanded this place of worship. Isaac (PBUH), Prophet Ibrahim's
younger son, worshipped in Beteyel, but also made journeys to Kaba in Makkah for Hajj (Pilgrimage) as did Ibrahim (PBUH). Jacob
(PBUH) the second son of Isaac (PBUH), extended Beteyel as a place of worship for all the believers of Allah (God) in the region. The
natives of the land, the Palestinians, believers in the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), also worshipped in Beteyel or The House
Of Allah (God). Ibrahim (PBUH), referred to Beteyel as "Masjid Al-Aqsa", which means the farthest place of worship of the One God.
Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), was stating that Masjid Al-Aqsa was the farthest place of worship west of Kaba in Makkah.
Some years later, Prophet Joseph (PBUH), the son of Jacob (PBUH) attained a high position of power in Egypt, he sent for all of his
family to come live with him in Egypt away from the poverty of Palestine. There were 33 in all, Jacob (PBUH), his children and his
grandchildren (Genesis 46 in the Torah). Because there was no one left from Jacob's (PBUH) tribe to care for Beteyel, Jacob (PBUH),
intrusted care of Beteyel or Masjid Al-Aqsa to the natives of the area, the Palestinians. This was acceptable due to the fact that the natives
were also followers of the Patriarch, the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH). The Israelites remained in Egypt for four hundred years as slaves to the
Egyptians with no connection to Palestine, the land from which they immigrated (Genesis 15 Verse 13-17). This choice was not forced on
them, they simply chose to leave Palestine for the sake of the wealth and riches in Egypt.
In the time of Prophet Moses (PBUH), the Israelites were still slaves to the Egyptians. Allah (God) ordered Moses (PBUH), after freeing the
Israelites from bondage, to lead them to Palestine. The Israelites rejected this order from Allah (God), and preferred to live in the desert of
Sinai, rather than to sacrifice themselves for the sake of Allah (God). They believed this land belonged to the Palestinians, the natives of
the area.
For fourty years, the Israelites wandered in the desert of Sinai. A new generation was born, and from it came forth Prophet David (PBUH),
he would lead this generation of believers to Palestine. Prophet David (PBUH) established his kingdom in part of Palestine, and controlled
Jerusalem. His son, Prophet Soloman (King Solomon) (PBUH) rebuilt Masjid Al-Aqsa with the help of the natives, and next to it he built
the ruler's palace. After Prophet Solomon's death, his two sons divided his kingdom amongst themselves. Each son established his own
kingdom and each had its own capital. From both of these kingdoms, Allah (God) raised prophets. According to Jewish history, these
kingdoms existed for nearly two hundred years.
In 586 B.C., King Je-hoia-chin of Jerusalem, saw that he might lose his kingdom. He was the last Jewish king who tried to resist the
Babylonians in Jerusalem. In his struggle, his kingdom was surrounded by the Babylonians who cut off supplies from the outside world.
When the inhabitants of Jerusalem ran out of food and water, the king made a tunnel to enable his soldiers to escape and retrieve
supplies from the outside world. Part of the tunnel collapsed, the resistance led by King Je-hoia-chin was defeated, and the Babylonians
took over Jerusalem. The tunnel used by King Je-hoia-chin, is the same tunnel being excavated today in Jerusalem. After the
Babylonians conquered Jerusalem, they took its inhabitants as slaves to Babylon.
The Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed what King Solomon had built in Jerusalem (Kings 2 Chapters 24 and 25 of the Bible).
According to the word of God in the Torah, the Israelites were made to be slaves in both the Nile and in the Euphrates.
After seventy years of slavery in Babylon, King Cyrus of Persea gave the Israelites their freedom. At that time very few of the Israelites
returned to Palestine. These few Israelites worshipped only in The House Of Allah. For generations, the Israelites took care of Beteyel or
Masjid Al-Aqsa. During the period when the Roman Empire was in constant battle with the Persean Empire, the Israelites aided the
Perseans, and benefited when the Perseans had control of Jerusalem. Because the Israelites supported the Persean Empire as spies and
in other ways, the Romans treated them as enemies of the Roman Empire.
In 70 A.D., the Romans destroyed (burned) Beteyel, and converted it into a place of Roman idol worship (Jupitor,etc.). In 315 A.D., when
the Roman Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity, the Romans had no regard for Beteyel. It became a place were the inhabitants
of Jerusalem, including the Jews threw their garbage. The Jews no longer considered Beteyel a Holy Shrine.
The Persean Empire defeated the Romans in 614 A.D., the Jews were now able to worship where they wished, but chose not to worship in
Beteyel or Masjid Al-Aqsa. The Perseans controlled Jerusalem until 624 A.D. The Jews, who were in a position of power during this
period, tortured the Arab Christians. Jerusalem was in need of a just ruler. Both the Christians and the Jews had suffered under different
empires, and both knew that the Holy Scriptures promised the coming of a ruler to save them from all this unjust torture and aggression.
The Israelites were awaiting the coming of the Messiah, who would be king and ruler, and would defeat all the evil empires, as promised
by Allah (God). The only Prophet in history to have accomplished this task, was Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) and his followers defeated all the empires of the time, establishing the Kingdom Of God (Islamic State) throughout the region.
This included Jerusalem as promised by Allah to the Muslims (Daniel 2 Verse 44 and Mathew 21 Verse 43). The Israelites had tried to

Christian, Jews, and Muslims lived in harmony under Islamic rule.
In 1948, with the help of the western powers, the Jews were able to fulfill the promise of the British foreign minister, Bill Ford. This
promise was made in 1917 regarding the Jews' return to the holy land, Palestine. In the time of Moses (PBUH), when ordered by Allah
(God) to return to Palestine, the Israelites disobeyed the will of Allah (God). Once the Jews again controlled Jerusalem, they expelled and
tortured the natives of Palestine from their land, and the area returned to a state of unrest (Haggie 2 Verse 7-9).
In the 1980's, the Israelis started an archaeological project in the area of the Dome of the Rock (Masjid Al-Aqsa). They began excavation
claiming that they were searching for the Temple Of King Solomon. They were unable to locate the Temple Of King Solomon, but in the
process discover ed the tunnel of King Je-hoia-chin. The Israelis claimed that the search was a success only because they discovered the
collapsed tunnel of King Je-hoia-chin, which is in no way related to the Temple of King Solomon. This tunnel has no religious
significance, it only has historical significance. The entrance was then sealed and today has been reopened without justification. The
significance to the Muslims is well understood, they fear for Masjid Al-Aqsa and its foundation, and that in some way this excavation can
damage the Holy Mosque. The significance of this dig to the Jews is not yet understood, clearly there is no religious significance. Prime

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (pbuh) IN THE BIBLE

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Old Testament:
The Qur’an mentions in Surah Al-Araf chapter 7 verse 157:
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet,
whom they
find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the
Gospel".
1. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF
DEUTERONOMY:
Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy
chapter 18 verse 18:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren,
like
unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he
shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh)
because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh)
was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses
(pbuh)
was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.
If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be
fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after
Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel,
Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will
fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.
However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses
(pbuh):
i) Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was
born miraculously without any male intervention.
[Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]
ii) Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh)
according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.
iii) Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised
up
alive. (4:157-158)
Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses
(pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two
sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the
descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the
descendants of Isaac (pbuh).
Words in the mouth:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever
revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them
verbatim.
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren,
like
unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall
speak unto them all that I shall command him."
[Deuteronomy 18:18]
iv) Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they
could
inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, "My
kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36).
v) Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their
lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his
people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, "He came unto his
own, but his own received him not."
iv) Both brought new laws and new regulations for their
people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring
any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18) .
2. It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken
unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will
require it of him."
3. Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:
It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying,
Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by
saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned" .
4. prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned by name in the old
testament:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the
Song
of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:
" Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa
Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem ."
"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is
my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters
of Jerusalem."
In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im
is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they
have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in
Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet
present.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament:
Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6:
"And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of
Israel! I
am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law
(which
came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to
come
after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to
them
with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' "
All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding
Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold
good for
the Christians.
1. John chapter 14 verse 16:
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you forever."
2. Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you
from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."
3. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I
go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".
"Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or
"the praised one" is almost the translation of the
Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26,
and
16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English
translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means
advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh)
actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the
Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a
mercy for all creatures.
Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these
prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh)
departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during
the
time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again
when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this
prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).
4. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear
them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is
come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak
of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".
The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to
none
other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
