Train to Busan (2016; Korean)

This reminds me of World War Z. Never a fan of horror movies but man, I enjoyed this. Predictable storyline with equitable amount of stupidity, carelessness, callousness, sacrifice, loyalty and hopelessness. The cast put up a good performance thereby, making the pictures raise the bar for the upcoming sequel.

Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2020; Turkish)

Expectedly, this delivered a series of top notch performances from the cast. I can now understand why so many have been confessing on how the pictures made them shed tears. It was a wonderfully execution to a well written story. I do not cry though, maybe I would have if the story didn't end the way it ended. I would definitely love to see a Bollywood remake of this story.

John Wick (Chapter 3): Parabellum

This is a better movie than the second chapter and, it set a good premise for the next, hopefully thrilling, chapter. Good and well balanced combination of gun fights and hand combats.

The fact is that, there's no movie without a plothole, one or few of em' plotholes is ok, but when it's much, it's becomes a problem. Some movies are also very good at concealing theirs that you barely notice.

That train station scene was a kinda "plothole", I'd gladly pardon, reason being that, in reality, folks in western climes are known to mind their business, as regards matters of such nature.

I've seen a picture were white folks were camly walking down a street with a burning house, and none of em' seemed to give a flying fvck of what was happening.

I've also seen a video were a lady was brutality beating up a guy on a busy street with passers-by, yet, no one bated an eyelid, everyone simply went about their normal business, as though nothing was happening.

So i personal see that scene as a message to us all, a message that shows that most folks have simply lost touch with humanity.

What a way to live and mind their businesses There must be more than enough mad people roaming the streets in the western world or, Africa is cursed with overreaction

John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)

This is an unnecessary dragging of the story. The writers had to look for one flimsy reason for the childish gun fight to resume. This is filled with too much of irrelevant and unrealistic gun fight scenes. How can people sit comfortably and watch two grown men engage in knives combat in a metro without moving a muscle??

John Wick {2014}

A rewatch and a fulfilling experience. With weak hand combats which were compensated by interesting and, sometimes unrealistic hun fight scenes, it remains a good action movie with the right amount of brutality.

Polar (2019)

This has too much of gory scenes. Nice story and well set for a sequel. It has few forgivable plot holes but worth the entertainment.

The Hate You Give (2018)

I was sceptical about seeing this movie but was encouraged by good reviews read on this platform. Good performance from the cast and would have been a perfect 10/10 but for the below par performance of the King Character. Very nice one from the 'Black' Hollywood. It was worth every second of my time.

You'd need a PC for that. Just download handbrake software. it merges two subtitle files together, and also, you've to do some calibrations/settings to both files, else the second half of the subtitle wouldn't correspond with the movie.
Am not trying to discourage you but search for another subtitle of the movie online, cause most times, merging subs together doesn't really tally, especially the second part of the subtitle (speaking from experience).
You can try subscenes for the subtitle.

Thanks for the response. I have searched hard on the Internet for a single srt file to no avail. It's been the reason why I haven't seen the movie despite having it on my PC for years. I will check ilthe handbrake software out and revert

Notebook {Bollywood}

A typical love story told in the common bollywood style with a reasonable length of runtime. Sizeable cast with commendable performance. The high for me in this remains how the musicals were intertwined with the movie without disturbing the flow of the story. Subtle messages were also passed with enough dose of comedy.

Avengers: Endgame

Call me a LASTMAn and you won't be too wrong. I had to take my time before taking a look at this to refresh my memory from various unavoidable spoilers.
This is a worthy end to a great franchise like the Avengers and, an enticing introduction to future projects. This is a flick with the right amount of everything: emotion, action, hope, disappointment, defeat, victory, redemption, etc. Above all, the systematic passage of baton among the characters is superb. Definitely a delight to the eyes

The introduction of this title character was delayed unnecessarily and, the story, when eventually told, was rushed. It is an average effort from the studio of Marvel

Avengers:Infinity War

The most admiring part of this part of the franchise is the depiction of how the avengers were all picking themselves up from the disappointment of Civil War. Despite their battle rusty state generally, they put up a hell of a fight. Very impressive piece.

The cruelty of man is well displayed in this historical movies. Man is truly his greatest enemy. Only power can reveal the true nature of man either individually or as an institution

The Great Battle (2018)

Laced with the right amount of reasons to fight, this is a classic Korean movie. The hope, perseverance, sacrifice, war plot, emotion, stupidity were all mixed in the right proportion to deliver a masterpiece. This is one of the best from the Asian Movie Industries.

Anna (2019)

Apart from the annoying repeated scenes (which IMO, could have been reduced without losing touch with the storytelling), this is a better spy movie than Atomic Blonde. This considers the fact that spies are also human and will to live normal life. Little plot twist here and there but, iy is an enjoyable movie.

I just had to take a look at this and see if it is what the space in my storage device. Good acting and action scenes. I think it still fall short of the quality of Salt (which I consider similar to it). It is good to enjoy when you are in the mood for action movies

Lion (2016)

Kudos to the little Saroo and his brother Guddu for putting up a wonderful act. This biopic is good and makes me wonder, how big and diverse India is. The pictures has a good mixture of emotion and subtle messages.

Poker Night

This is a horror flick with an unwanted end. I hope detectives are not as stupid as depicted in this movie or maybe, mad men are not as smart as portrayed in in the movie

Cold blooded

I have kept this on my watch list for a while. I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. The bloody scenes were rightly shot for people like me that can stomach too much of horror. It remains a decent movie for me and has managed to find its way into my archive.

I believe opinion on which movie is better than the other will always be subjective. 3 idiots is no doubt, a great movie however, I personally prefer Like Stars on Earth and Lagaan (both Aamir Kahn's movies) to it
