The Ambush (2021; Arabic)
This is a very well executed war project with good storytelling, acting and action. I don't know of its degree of closeness to the actual events but, I will highly recommend it.

King Richard is a solid 9/10 for me.

Wow!! What a banger from will Smith telling the stories of Venus and Serena Williams.
This is just a pure inspiration of what every body out there wanting to become somebody In life, this movie is just the perfect Inspiration.
Indeed!! There is nothing impossible in life for you to do, as long as you believe it and then work towards it.

But there is something i just want to say about black Americans in USA.
I know most of them black Americans are all about the ghetto and drugs and all that but the few that made it out from the hood, irrespective of the barriers, the racism and the disadvantages they have to face, these few black Americans like Micheal Jordan, The Jacksons, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Beyonce, jay Z and many of them.
Their breakthrough is why we are all here today.

Without the sacrifices they had to make, there will be no WizKid selling a sold out concert today in London or USA, there will be no Davido performing in a world cup final, there will be no Davido touring around the world.
There will be no Dbanj vs snopp dog.

My points is that the black Americans that broke through the racial barrier in music, sport, politics and business in America made the ultimate sacrifice for all black man and Black woman in the world especially Africa.

This is why i respect them a lot, especially Beyonce and co because y'all have no idea what they had to go through to be where we are today.

I bet y'all have no idea how bad racism was back In the days.
The abolishment of slave trade did nothing for Africa and for blacks.
Yes slave trade was stopped but the real Sacrifice were made by these Black Americans who refused to be second class from martin Luther king to 2 pac to Diana Ross to Whitney Houston to Obama and Many more.

Their sacrifices is why a black man called Davido can headline a fifa world cup final in an Arab country.

No matter what you think about America, please give them their due respect especially black Americans, they are why we are here today.

You should have stopped at the second statement.

Freddy (2022: Bollywood)

A wonderful psychological thriller of a movie. This seems to be better than the one it is made after, Fida. For anyone who is willing to look beyond the 'Bollywood' stereotype, I believe it will be worthy of the time spent on it.

Coach Carter is based on true events. As you can see from my previous post, it is not a new movie. It was released in 2005. It is worth every minute invested in it

A rewatch but always a delight to watch anytime any day. This is a movie with Samuel L. Jackson was in an unusual role and he delivered effortlessly. He even went the whole duration without his signature word - mother*****r. grin grin

My respect for MEN increased by a thousand after watching this movie.

I am not hype for this movie because I have seen the actual documentary about it last year. I am afraid the movie may not deliver well as did the actual event undecided

Chizzyvivian:
Hello all, Please I got admission with WSU for my masters and applied for Visa since march 2020(during the time of covid) through an immigration agent there in Australia till now I'm yet to get a visa decision though the SCREENSHOT of my immi account the agent sent me shows 'FINALISED' but no message/ decision was sent. On 22nd April 2022 a mail was sent to my agent requesting we provide biometrics, but my agent said he replied them we had already done it before that they will check again and let us know. Till now we are yet to hear from Immigration. Please what can I do? Do we have anyone who applied for Visa since 2020 and yet to get decision?

If the admission is still valid, apply for the visa yourself. It is easy and does not require any technicalities that you won't be able to attend to.
Just ensure you attach all necessary documents

Good day,
Please my school ask me to pay my fees before I will be issued CoE, I was given an option of using western union since its faster
But I tried western union it only has an option of paying with card in naira equivalent, now the issue is that I'm supposed to pay 3.2million which is not possible with one card.

I have tried going to the bank but its not helping
I was told that using form A is going to take a long time

Please can anyone give me a good advice as time is against me

You can use Flutterwave's Barter app. Although, the exchange rate is the black market rate.

Anyone booking Turkish Air to Aussie should select the following route: Nigeria(Abj/Lag)> Istanbul> Bangkok-Sydney

Singapore route is a 'No' for now, if u mistakenly pick Sigapore route you be ask at the Airport in Naija to pay approximately 80K Naira (out of pocket) to change route.

Note: Turkish Air won't refund you 'shi shi'
Thailand route is very good, use it and thank me later.

Hello

I am planning my trip to Australia on a tight budget therefore considering Turkey Airline. While transiting through Turkey and Bangkok, did you have transit visa for any of these countries? I need to know beforehand to avoid issues after the ticket is booked.

Thank you

Did 19hr stopover in Istanbul and 2hrs+ in Bangkok on that trip. Maybe the one you saw is different. If you are worried about the long layover you can call the Airline for clarification

Alternatively, check if Qatar has a fair price at the moment

I paid using Flutterwave's barter app

Dear All,

Please I want to ask something. I have a scholarship from UNSW for a Ph.D. but I do not have money for couple health insurance as UNSW said they will only refund the health care ( for me alone) when I am in Australia. Now I want to ask is it possible that I buy two single medicare insurance which is around 3068dollars each instead of buying couple? Then when we get to Australia one can get money and buy the couple one later.

Hello sir,

Congratulations on your admission and scholarship. I also have a PhD admission and scholarship from UNSW. My question is have you started the process of visa application? I don't mind connecting with you so that we can navigate through the process together.

Thank you

Tyrese Gibson is another musician that became a good actor. I however, enjoy the role of Rihanna in Battleships and I don't see that a cameo. Her appearance in This is the end is what should be regarded as a cameo.

Bros, all this verbose wey you type, Bollywood oo, Tollywood oo, Zeeworld-hood oo, they're mostly TRASH!!!

Bollywood movies are that good, and you barely see their recent(2010's) movies garner International Acclaim or recognition.
Abeg go sleep jor. undecided

If they were that good, people would be talking about them in every sphere of movie enthusiasts. I've hardly come across serious movie lovers in the online community where they recommend movies from top movie producing countries and they mention India.
I'm not talking bout Nigerians or Africans oo, I'm talking about International people, Whites, Asians or Latinos etc Even Indians I know online hate their movies, they won't even recommend their country's movies. grin

People even take Turkish movies serious than Indians. The way people talk about Asian movies these days, especially horror and drama, I don't see India in the topic. Names you hear are Japan, Korean, Thailand and to some extent Philippines. Even China sef get fans.
The only scope I see Indians world-beaters are in dumb Melodrama. grin
I don't have the energy to go back and forth on this issue, take the risk of being surprised by giving a shot at any of movie on my earlier list and experience what swallowing of pride feels like.

Most Indian movies are shiit. Only women, children, Indians and some rare species of men enjoy it.
Your opinion which you are entitled to. There are tons of Hollywood movie out there also, it does not make the industry qualify for being regarded as outright trash.

Years of torture by my siblings and family with Zee World God-tier CRAP!! Would definitely make anyone be a sworn hater. angry
Thier dialogue fit make me commit murder. angry grin
It is obvious that you are one of the many that confuse the various movie industry segments in India. There is a clear difference between Bollywood, Tollywood and the 'craps' on Zee World. Bollywood segment of the Indian movie industry is not a push over in the global movie industry judging by the quality of its release over the decades. Check out the following and see for yourself:
Veer Zaara
Baghban
Bhagh Milkha Bhagh
Mary Kom
Black
A Wednesday
Baijran Mustani
Baijranji Bhaijan
Jab We Met
Bang Bang
Ek tha Tiger
Tiger Zinda Hai
Fanaa
Lagaan
Dangal
Sultan
Brothers
Kesari
Baby
Special 26

I can go on and on. The above is a list of Bollywood movie that cut across all popular genre (horror) that will start toe to toe with any top class movie from any industry in the world.

Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020; Hollywood)

This movie is one of the motion pictures in 2020. In fact, this movie would have held its own in a year devoid of COVID-19 with numerous movie releases.
What I love the most in this pictures is how a dangerously sensitive story of Bobby Seal was told in the movie with minimal chances of raising racial tension. Comedy, history, drama, suspense and a little bit of action packed in one movie made it a masterpiece. I have never laughed so hard watching what was meant to be an attention grabber.

I have used Redmi 9 for about a month before I got a gift of Huawei y8p. They may not be in the same category (maybe Y8p may be a mid-range device) but, the experience with Y8p has been nothing less of awesomeness. I believe the y8p should be compared with the Xiaomi Note 9S or Pro for fairness.

Xiaomi is rugged and the company is ambitious. The battery life of their devices is superb.
Huawei is a combination beauty and beast.

The Appgallery may not be as equipped with apps as the play store but, it is a very promising challenger in the game of app stores. That being said, the only down in using Huawei device for now is the lack of core Google apps like the GMS, Drive, Maps, etc. However, key and popular appsike WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, Yahoo Mail, Meriam Webster Dictionary, bank Apps, etc are readily available on the Appgallery. Also, the use of Google mail is very possible with the e-mail app that comes pre-installed on Huawei devices.

With the devices coming at a very competitive price, I will recommend it to anybody without a doubt.
