My monicker on Nairaland is PhdCloakroom and the person who contacted Abel Abdul is PhdCl0akroom. People can see the difference. I will never contact you for anything because you have zero knowledge to offer. Keep deceiving yourself. I booked my flight using Wakanow. This is because when I tried booking directly with the airlines my payment was failed. cc: Ifymoto

I posted my IRCC application portal he claimed I was getting those pictures online to post that I didn't apply for any study permit that I am an agent bla bla bla.
This is my visa stamp. Don't worry let me land in Toronto next month I will make a video.
Do not give your application to any agent do everything yourself. Ask questions when in doubt. Make use of AI.
That was exactly what I did and he is bitter about it.

The border officer would rate you as a genuine, financial capable international student why you can demonstrate to them your reason for coming to Canada and that you have the money to sustain you through your stay and that you will leave after your study.
Returning ticket is not make them rate you as a genuine. Please ignore that person,.
That was how he claimed I post screenshots of other people application claiming it to be mine. that was how he claimed that Canada issues Permanent Study permit when there is no where in IRCC website that 'Permanent Study permit' is mentioned.
He does not know the meaning of the word 'Permanent'.
Ignore him or follow his advise and regret.

Ifymoto: Good morning house. I got an approval 3 days ago and I submitted my passport for stamping two days ago. It is for Study Permit. I want to know if it is compulsory to book return flight ticket for study permit holders in Canada. Can I go ahead with just a one-way ticket please? It's urgent as airfares are increasing as September approaches. Any input from our seniors and experienced Students here would be highly appreciated Do not! I repeat, do not book a round trip. Go for one-way ticket and you would be fine. Ignore anyone telling you to get a return ticket. Anything can happen in Canada for good or bad and you are likely not 100% sure exactly when you would be leaving. I have never heard that someone was refused entry because of a one-way ticket. Go and watch YT videos of international students and do not allow anyone here to leave you with decisions you'd end up regretting. When you arrive in Canada, the officer is generally more interested in whether you: Have a valid study permit or the required approval documents. Are genuinely coming to study at your designated learning institution. Have enough money to support yourself. Intend to comply with the conditions of your stay in Canada. Questions the border officers most likely ask are Name of your school, Study duration If you have where you will be staying Your financial ability After graduation what next.. Never heard where a border officer was concerned with a return ticket. Showing them a return ticket would not stop them from denying you entry if the discover any foul play. Please ignore that commenter |

Go for option one. And always trust AI. That is what I have been using. ehiremen2002: I dig a bit more . Thank God for AI
It is highly likely that the visa officer completely missed the consent letter because it was uploaded under the "Client Information" section instead of the specific slots meant for minor travel authorization. Your assessment is correct: both refusal letters explicitly state that the applications were denied because of "insufficient documentation to demonstrate consent for one parent to be traveling to Canada with minor". Because your own study permit has been approved (indicated by your passport request), you have two concrete paths forward to fix this for your children: Option 1: Reapply for the Children (Fastest & Most Reliable)Since you already have your passport request, re-submitting new visitor visa or study permit applications for your two children is usually the most effective route. What to do differently: When filling out the new applications, do not bury the father's consent letter in general client information. Upload the Letter of Consent and Financial Sponsorship directly into the required slot for minor travel authorization (often labeled as "Proof of Relationship" or "Minor Travel Authorization" . What to include: Use the exact same letter signed by Mr. xxxx, the marriage certificate, their birth certificates, and your new Canadian visa/passport request letter to show that your study permit is approved.
Option 2: Submit a Webform (Reconsideration Request)You can contact IRCC via the online Webform to point out that the document was already provided. What to say: State clearly that you are requesting a reconsideration because the officer noted a lack of parental consent, but the fully signed "Letter of Consent for Minors Traveling Abroad" by their father, Mr. xxxxxx, was already attached to the file under client information on the initial submission. Attachment: Re-attach the consent letter, your passport request letter, and the children's birth certificates to the Webform.
Note: While a Webform is free, it can take several weeks for IRCC to review and process reconsideration requests, and they are not obligated to reopen a refused file. Preparing a fresh application (Option 1) ensures it goes directly into an officer's queue with the documents in the correct places. |

dsureguy: I don't believe in that at all... I'm the king of using non-commercial banks for applications.
For my visit to CA, I used Rova (which is Nigerian MFi just like GREY) and a swiss online bank account and it was approved my CA student visa, two Canadian bank accounts, a GIC, and a Lithuanian online bank account (bulk of the money) and it was approved My parents' US visa: I used my Lithuanian online bank account only, as their sponsor failed them at the last minute so had to step in, and it was approved.
So far the bank is licensed and has the country's financial approval, and you are not cooking documents; my take is to use it. I used two commercial bank accts and 3 non commercial bank accts and got approved. I was just laughing when I saw that comment but I chose to ignore it. |

Do they understand this at the POE or they still expect me to come with all that money? I paid my fees before applying for study permit. In my POF I stated it. Ans included the CIBC receipt as proof |

Do they understand this at the POE or they still expect me to come with all that money? Pay your tuition fee. It's part of the POF. Make sure you get a receipt. When the border officer at the POE ask if you have paid your fees, say 'yes'. If the need proof you show them the receipt or a proof of payment. When you are traveling to Canada, carry a much recent bank statement or proof of funds. You can start using your money after application. You musnt freeze your money till you arrive Canada before using. Your flight expenses, accomodations and tuition fees are all in that POF. If you are paying for accommodation from Nigeria, use the POF to pay and have your receipt. |

PhdCloakRoom: My student @Abel Abdul are you in the class ? Study visa is what you get from Nigeria in order to travel and land in Canada. Then after the POE clears you they will issue you study permit. In order word both phrases are interchangeable.
Mind you what are you trying to proof to Nairalanders? And you claim you are not an agent yourself ? Your tactics is to prepare the foundation for people to start asking you how did you do it by trying to prove the best but you have turned yourself to a clown. Too know have exposed you that you have been posting imaginary Canada study visa updates. You did not answer my questions. And this would be my last respond to you till 22nd. What is permanent study permit? What is permanent visa? Define the word 'permanent'. Answer those questions we want to learn. |

PhdCloakRoom: But you just told us that ChatGPT is the machine or tool that is dictating your life . Go and read it yourself.
Back to your lesson. The visa you are using to travel to Canada is called temporary travel/visit visa or temporary travel card. When you passed the POE vetting that is when you get the permanent study visa...meaning the main official student visa. If the grammar is confusing you i think i have lectured you right now.
Stop cut and paste of people's visa application credentials on Nairaland. You are not processing anything. Stop fooling yourself. Oga u said permanent study permit. Now u don shift to permanent study visa. I hope you know that there is a difference between visa and study permit? Visa allows you entry to a country while study permit allows you to school in that country. Once again, there is nothing like 'permanent' for visa or study permit. You saying I cut people's application portal to post. I will answer that question 22nd Aug. For now enjoy your time with your permanent study permit and permanent visa. |

Go and re-read my answers because you seem to be confused the way i used the permanent issuing of your study visa. As it stands you can be turn back at Canada POE thats just the summary but i pray you are successful in your endeavours. I didn't need ChatGPT to know what is permanent study permit. As an international student you are a temporary immigrant. So tell me how a temporary immigrant will will issued a permanent study permit. Una go com here the give half baked information. Nothing like permanent study permit for Canada. You are issued a study permit that expires 90days after your program completion or expires the same date with your international passport. Which ever comes first. |

PhdCloakRoom: No Abel. You will be approved online and issued temporary travel visa/permit and upon your arrival in Canada IRCC will confirmed your online approval before issuing you permanent study permit. Ask those who got their Canada study visa from year 2024/25 up till this moment.
If you argue this fact that means you are not the one processing your visa.

Nevertheless you and I and every participant on Nairaland are benefiting from this forum one way or the other. If you say no then delete your Nairaland account right away. Please sir, Is there anything like permanent study permit.? What I am mean to understand in my research is that IRCC will issue you 'introduction letter' and visa stamp on your passport. When you arrive in Canada the border officers will then issue you study permit after accessing you and your documents. So can you educate us about permanent study permit? cc amnotapervert please come and learn new thing about permanent study permit. I am the one processing my study permit myself. This is my portal. No agent has access to my portal.
