Omoniyimi12345: Thank you. Do these platforms accept Naira Cards? To make mine, I had to convert my funds to dollar. I used Flywire with dollar card to pay tuition deposit and i used Bank wire from my dollar acct to pay one year tuition because dollar card has a limit |

amnotapervert: Do not lie to IRCC about anything POF
IRCC hates everything and anything about POF misrepresentation as it brings about 5 years visa ban PLEASE do not
Just do what John 8:32 (ESV) says The truth will set you free Just tell IRCC the truth on how you got the money...visa rejection is better than visa ban
How much is the lump sum you have available to cover your tuition fees? Also, how much income are you generating from your 3-bedroom bungalow to support your overall financial situation?
I am asking because, aside from tuition, you need to show IRCC that you have at least $22,895 available for living expenses.
On average, tuition fees in Canada for a 2-year program for international students are around $35,000 ( except Brandon University and Memorial University which is way cheaper) When you add the required $22,895 for living expenses, you’re looking at a total of about $60,000.
So the one question you should be asking yourself, is your lump sum and expected income sufficient to cover this amount?
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents/financial-support.html In the IMM1294 form, there is a column to fill International passport number, country where it was issued, date issued and date expire. I also see where the are asking if i have national identity document, date issue and date expire. What should i fill in that national identity document? |

amnotapervert: show me the post that I was persuading you to use an agent and I started posting agents contacts and I will deactive my Nairaland account
I am a do it yourself person but I wanted to inform you that anyone you contact outside this 8 listed companies are not lincenced agents
I was just correcting you but You are very good at twisting the whole story. You mentioned that you used an agent once and never want to use one again, because I am a do-it-yourself person too... I pointed out that the agent you used was a Facebook Telegram agent.....
I corrected you by explaining that you never used a licensed immigration consultant, and that Nigeria has only eight licensed immigration consultants as of today....... if you are calling yourself an agent and not on the group you are a Facebook agent
I was informing you that Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) are recognized by the Government of Canada as authorized representatives. They are licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, which was established by the Canadian government. Only RCICs, Canadian lawyers, or paralegals can legally charge fees for immigration advice all over the world....https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigration-citizenship-representative/choose/authorized.html
and in Nigerian we have only currently 8 of them........
Because I corrected your misinformation, you took offense.
I have nothing to gain in all this .......I was just correcting you https://register.college-ic.ca/Public-Register-EN/RCIC_Search.aspx Pls don't deactivate. u are still useful to us. The agents are no longer 7 again?

amnotapervert: Thank you senior man justwise for being a voice of reason and bringing sanity back to this group.
Going forward, I won’t respond to any scam allegations from Chibumalasia, Badadvisor, or AbelAbdul without actual facts...because clearly, there are none...
You can disagree with me personally or how I do things, but the facts I present still stand.
You have all heard now unless you have decided to stop using your common sense. This post I made was the beginning of our problem. I posted I got admission and I needed a guidance and I clearly stated that I need not agent. This boy was persuading me. giving me a million reason to use agents. started posting agents contacts.

Rahab409: That was the same way someone alleged me of being a scammer. Why? Because I posted that I was approved in only three working days after submission of my study permit application. There were no names they didn't call me. In fact, I had to delete the post and since then, I only observe and speak only when I see that questions have stayed for days unanswered to. It's quite unfair labeling people with such a sensitive word without evidence. You were called out because you posted your whatsapp number telling people to reach you there if they need help. What is the purpose of the thread if everyone has to meet in a whatsapp group? You gave an excused that you were not always on NL yet that period you spent your entire time on NL. |

Provide evidence that the guy is a scammer and the admin of the group can ban him. It seems u have not been following the guys posts. By 'good' I meant persuading. |

Ifeanyi221: Good day everyone, please I need advice. I got admission into Lambton College Sarnia for a PGD in Business Analytics. I’ve confirmed it’s PGWP eligible on IRCC website, but I want to know how good this school and course are in terms of job opportunities and PR chances currently. Also, the school asked me to pay about $9,000+ ($2,000 for PAL and about $7,000 for first semester tuition) is this normal, and is the PAL deposit refundable if visa is refused? I’d really appreciate honest, up to date advice. 1. Employers care more about your expertise not school name THOUGH! Find out if the course has co-op it will really help. 2. School play little or no role in PR. You should be concerned with the course itself. Is it in-demand skill? 3. Some schools only ask for a deposit to get PAL/LOA. Some ask for one-year or a semester/term fees. So it's normal. 4. In most cases, yes. it's refundable. But before you make payment, send a mail to the school and confirm from them. They are the only right source to tell you if they will refund your money or not. |

leksite120: To qualify for pgwp now, you have to do study 2yrs program. So, its not the same as 1yr. Also, for the sake of PR which you're aiming, if you want to study business analytics, it should better be masters and not college program. @ Treyray

Treyray: Hello guys. I have a degree in management and accounting, with NYSC work experience. I'll really like to study Business Analytics as a graduate program in Canada. Any advice on what school is best to apply for, in terms of PR and after school work prospect. (I know nothing is guaranteed but I will like to position myself for the best opportunity possible.) Also, is there any particular reason why I should go for a 2 years program over a one year program (I saw on Youtube that the PGWP duration is the same regardless.
I will really appreciate any advice If the program is a master or PhD with a minimum duration of 8 months, your are eligible for a 3 year PGWP. |

I stated a claim, you all refuted it because you said I had put my phone number, then I deleted the entire thing. Now, you're still singing scammer? Scammer on what exactly? Rahab409: I have removed my WhatsApp contact and revised the entire post. I only included it initially because I’m not very active on Nairaland, and I wanted anyone who needed guidance to be able to reach me easily.
However, due to the backlash I received, I have decided to take down the write-up and simply wish everyone the best in their applications. My intentions were genuine—I truly wanted to help, and at no point did I request any fee. I even included a disclaimer to make that clear.
Omo, God abeg ooo.
In the end, we will all be alright. And you had to use an AI to write this? |

I have interacted with all kinds of people here and helped without collecting a dime. I don’t even ask for money...I barely have the time. I just drop comments and share information.
Like I said, I am not the reason your father can’t afford your school fees or why your visa keeps getting rejected because of you can not afford the fees. I understand you’re frustrated, but making false accusations won’t help your situation.
And again, if I have ever scammed anyone, go ahead and bring the receipts. This is the time to show them I am waiting. Chibumalasia: That's why am making sure you cannot scam anybody. You barely have time but you are here 24/7 looking for somebody to scam. The way you are desperate you have to be using Gemini AI to answer question so that your victims can fall for your trap. Look for better hustle. This your format have cast He meant he barely has time to ask for money. |
