JMG12: IRCC has updated the IMM1294E form for study permit applications made outside Canada, they have added a place for PAL/TAL and Quebec Acceptance Certificate number and expiry date. The previous version is now outdated and no longer acceptable. Applicants should ensure they use the latest form before submission to avoid delays or application issues. The imm1294 form was last updated in 2024. The PAL/TAL column are optional. Applicants going for Masters/PhD programs in public schools are exempted from PAL or TAL. The QAC is strictly for applicants wishing to study in Quebec.

If chatGpt is correct why are PGWPs and other work permit holders from ontario move or attempts to move to other province scrambling for PR options when they have exhausted some time on their work permit.. I hardly hear anyone moving to ontario from other provinces for PR.. There are tons of evidence on departure of ontario work permit holders on Facebook,Their top target saskatchewan. and the second province they target will penalize you for previous tie with other provinces. walex222: Hey guys! I’ve been following this page for a long time, and I have a question. I have a BSc in Agriculture, and now I’m interested in studying a vocational program in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics.
My concern is how I can combine my agriculture background with heavy duty equipment mechanics. Although my bachelor’s degree is not engineering-related, I have a lot of practical experience in automotive engineering from before my degree, even though it’s not professional or certificate-based.
I’m genuinely interested in this field because I know I perform well in engineering and technical work. I would really appreciate any advice or guidance from people with experience in this area. Please help a brother in need. You will need to proof and explain to the VO why you switched. If it makes sense to them, you are good to go |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 11:09pm On May 20 |
amnotapervert: How old is the youngest child? If the youngest child is of daycare age, it may not be easy to convince IRCC that she will be able to study, make enough money to pay international student fees, and also cover daycare expenses.
She should focus on coming alone first.
I know it’s hard, but leaving the children with family back in Nigeria may be the best option for now.
If you are her only sponsor, you should already have her full tuition fees and living expenses saved. If not, you should at least be earning enough every 4 months to cover each term, since each term is usually 4 months. That is how IRCC may look at it. So, if her tuition per term is CAD 9,000, you should be able to save and pay that amount within 4 months.
I also see that she is likely going to college since she has an HND. In that case, she may not be able to add her husband later for a spousal open work permit, because currently only master’s and PhD students are generally eligible.
In my opinion, you should focus on bringing her first, and over time she can bring her children later.
U have been away for a while. U finally got a real job now? |

Unpatriotic2: Good day all, please I have a question... I'm applying for a Spouse Open work Permit ( my spouse has been given admission already). I'll like to know the following;
1. Am I required to mention all my work history in the last 10 years or can I simply put my current work history only?
I'm asking because I previously entered the PR pool as a dependent (but no ITA) an agent did it and I can't remember if he put any work history for me. Which brings me to my next question
2. While applying as a dependent for a PR, is there any column for putting a dependent's current job title with company name and dates. I'm referring to the dependent not the main applicant.
Thank you
NB: she applied for a master's degree Contact the agent. |

Dpharmacist: When Did Comment Sections Become Clinics?
I keep seeing this pattern.
Someone has a real medical problem. Instead of going to the hospital, they post it online:
“Please what should I take?” “Who has experienced this?”
And within minutes, strangers are prescribing.
No proper history. No examination. No diagnosis.
Just confidence… without competence.
Let’s be honest.
This is not healthcare.
It is guesswork with consequences.
Because two people can have the same symptom and completely different conditions.
A headache could be stress… or something serious. Abdominal pain could be ulcer… or something surgical. A cough could be simple… or something that needs proper evaluation.
You cannot tell the difference from an online post and a comment section.
I understand some of the reasons.
Hospital visits can be expensive. Access is not always easy. People want quick answers.
But replacing professional care with random advice is not a shortcut.
It is a risk and many times, it delays the right treatment until things get worse. People end up going to the hospital when the illness have become chronic and some end up in intensive care unit spending more than they could have if they had come earlier.
Healthcare is not just about giving drugs or recommending this herb and that herb.
It is about 1. Asking the right questions. 2. Identifying danger signs. 3. Making the right diagnosis. 4. Choosing safe and appropriate treatment.
This process cannot happen online with strangers guessing.
Ask questions online to learn.
But when it comes to your health, don’t outsource it to people who don’t know your case. Go to someone trained to handle it. You can befriend health care professionals i seek their help. Because the goal is not to try everything. The goal is to get it right.
Let's work to make a better change in our health. It was a comment section on TikTok that cured me what many clinics could not |
